I have chatted with some members of this forum offline and I have made a recommendation for reading in another post concerning the subject at hand. I prefer focusing mostly on the positive, which I do in the main to bring out the better qualities in us as men (myself included), yet to ignore the difficult (and dark) is not the example I wish to leave here or with my time on Earth in general. So I am bringing it up as I have met a number of these types during my travels.
My experiences show me that one of the goal of the modern system (culture, politics, business, finance, etc.) is for those already conscious of their psychopathy to provide a system of pressure such that those who are genetically disposed to psychopathy may thrive and come to the foreground and develop their psychopathic tendencies on the screen of life, while those with a greater sense of conscience and morality are pushed to the background and become less of an influence with those who could prevent such as system from being a larger influence on the modern world. Those who could prevent such a system are in the general population, but are not consciously aware of psychopathy or how they may identify psychopaths and deal with them. The psychopaths that are jailed are among the weaker of the psychopaths (as they were caught). The better (if there is such a thing) psychopaths do not get caught and instead often manifest as leaders in politics, the military, the police, in corporations and many just blend in scene of life. I put forth that this happens in all countries and has happened throughout history.
These types have no concept of shame and the notion of responsibility is considered a burden for others. They have an ability to conceal the fact that their psychological makeup is different from others. They are free from internal restraints. The presence or absence of conscience is a deep human division more significant than most traits (including intelligence, IMO). They have an empty hole in their psyche.
¨Pathocracy is a disease of great social movements followed by entire societies, nations, and empires. The actions of pathocracy affect an entire society starting with the leaders and infiltrating every town, business and institution.¨ This will naturally touch on Evil in life. I would prefer to direct more of this toward Ponerology as a science on the nature of evil, but religion (Western or Eastern) may come into the picture.
Part of the goal is to expose this potential and have men discuss this as they would many other topics, openly, honestly with the intent of trying to understand its existence in our world in general and how we may deal with it in a more effective, healthy and positive manner.
This may not be comfortable for many and I would encourage men to study as they contribute and ask questions according to their own promptings. I am not the expert on these matters nor am I a psychologist or psychiatrist, but I do have a modest amount of experience with such individuals in the military, the corporate world as well as those in the geo-political arena.
In terms of game, these types of women are referred to as the dark triad (quad) types. Perhaps we can focus on this first as it relates to game and allow it to expand out ward from game to the rest of the world. My experience with such women is not deep. For those unaware, the dark triad is Narcissism (characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy), Machiavellianism (characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, a cynical disregard for morality, and a focus on self-interest and deception) and Psychopathy (characterized by antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callousness, and remorselessness). We may also wish to add in a fourth element Sadism which is not distinguished by impulsiveness or manipulation (which are in the normal range), but instead by the enjoyment of cruelty.
I recommend a few books as references and people can add to the list as they see fit.
