I.T park Ayala Cebu city trip report (by Schlep)

Anyone looking for the perfect vacation spot, look no further. Cebu city has it all. All the girls you want, good entertainment, good food, reasonable prices, safe and party central.

Disclaimer:
I'm not an expert on philipino culture or philipina women.
Just my honest opinion after spending a total of six weeks
On two separate occasions in I.T park and Ayala area.

Lodging:
Airbnb- you can easily find a condo unit here in I.T park, with pool, gym, 24 hour security with great logistics for 27 - 30 dollars a night. When your looking for a condo unit, Look at the open dates they have listed. When I was looking for mine, I noticed that the owner had vacancies for the whole months of April and May open. I knew she was desperate for someone to rent. So, I sent a low ball offer and she accepted.

Note: about bringing girls back to your room and having them register at the desk. When you walk in the door, just keep on walking. I have stayed at the same place on both occasions. The first time, I had the girls check in everytime. This time if the guard says anything thing I just play dumb and keep on walking. Haven't had any problems with this method.

Food:
My advice if you want to eat a great nutritious meal at a reasonable price. Stay away from the western restaurants. McDonalds, Jolleybee, burger King, TGI Fridays. Way to expensive. I will include alot of pictures of great locations to eat at with reasonable prices.

Rockpool filipino cuisine, Yakski barbecue and Yellow cab are my personal favorites. You can get a good meal for 90 pesos thats packed with lots of protien and carbohydrates at a reasonable price.

Transportation:
Jeepneys are the cheapest way to get around but, not the safest. I have never had any problems but wouldn't recommend using them. 14 pesos and you can travel anywhere in Cebu city.
When you visit here you will see motorcycles everywhere. You can get a ride for 20 pesos if you want. My girlfiend here prefers this method to travel back and forth to work everyday.
Taxis, this is what I use to travel to Ayala mall. 75 pesos each way. It's only a 5 -10 minute ride depending on the traffic. Never had any problems with taxi drivers trying to rip me off.

Safety:
I honestly believe this is one of the safest vacation cities in the world. Never had an issue at all. I have walked down some shaddy areas and not one time felt unsafe. On my first trip here, I walked down a bad looking street late at night, because I was lost. Approached 5 guys that didn't look to friendly and asked for directions. These 5 guys went out of their way to show me the proper way to go. One guy even walked with me and pointed the proper way to go.

Money exchange:
In I.T park there is a club called Music One. Behind the building in a little alley is a money exchange both if you need more pesos. Currently it's 46 philipino peso to 1 dollar exchange rate.

Clubs:
I have only been to 3 clubs in I.T park and Ayala. So I'm no expert on this subject. Mango square, I was only in this area on 2 occasions. Very crowded, and I was completely wasted both times. Every girl I approached was a prostitute or a semi prostitute. Alchology, good club with disco music and average entrance fee. 300 pesos. Hyper club roof, visited this club on my first visit with forum member. It was average. Also 300 peso entrance fee and not alot of talent. Music One is a ktv style club. 500 peso entrance fee with good talent.

Girls:
Lets get to the good part, shall we. This place is a horny mans playgound. I have never been so over sexed in my life. If you want to bang 6's you can easily have 2 a day. But, thats not really for me. On my first trip here I signed up with filipinocupid and before I left the states, had about 90 phone numbers. Thats how much these girls like white guys. My results were mixed. I banged alot of girls but my quality wasn't what I was hoping for. On this trip I relied more on daygame and quality.

These are some of the things I have learned from my experience here.

Dateinasia- huge waste of time. All semi prostitutes, scam girls, Lady boys and low class girls. Do not waste your time.

Filipinocupid- I've banged about 15 girls on this site. 6-7 range. Alot better then Dateinasia. It's a mixed bag of average girls, virgins and sluts. If your new to the area and just want notches then this is a good start.

Tinder: I honestly never tried using Tinder but, a forum member on my first trip was using it with good results.

Dating tips: if you arrange a date from online. Expect her to be at least a half hour late. Meet at a location next to your condo.
If she shows up on the date with a friend or relative. Just walk away. Read that again, walk away. It's just 2 girls looking for a free meal. I have only had 1 occasion were this turned out good. Not worth it. Do not invite her to come to your place to watch a movie. I have fallen for this to many times. She will ask you to help her with cab fare. Then she will text you 2 hours later saying I'm here in lobby. She will explain that she lives 2 hours away in the Providence. And, then ask you to give her 500 pesos for taxi fare. But, really she just take jeepney 15 minutes to your place. I just laugh and walk away. Then tell the guard to remove her from the promises. If you agree to pay for her taxi fare. Tell her you will pay the taxi driver yourself. Insist upon this. No exceptions.

Daygame: this is where you will find quality girls here in Cebu and in Ayala mall. Don't bother trying to game the Korean girls. They are off limits. Focus your efforts on the girls in the 7-8 range. They will be everywhere. Write down your phone number and fake name on pieces of paper. Approach a pretty girl to ask directions and hand her the paper. It's that easy.

How to find the models:
Google, beauty pageant contests in Cebu city. Plan your vacation around those dates. Attend contest wearing a nice suite and have a good back story that your here on business. You'll be in like flynn. I got lucky with my current girlfriend. I attended a conference on local real estate opportunities. And found her there. Not trying to brag but she is a solid 9.

In summary:
If you want to maximize your stay her in Cebu. Use Tinder or Filipinocupid to have a girl waiting for you on arrival. Then follow my advice to find the 8's and 9's. Then spent your remaining time with your favorite girls.

Any questions just send me a pm.

Good luck and enjoy.

7s and 8s everywhere in Cebu City during the day? You either found a gold mine somewhere in IT Park or your 7s and 8s are really 6s. I am not trying to criticize you here, but I know from personal experience that we tend to overrate the beauty of women if we haven't spent much time in a new country or if we are new to game (don't know if that is the case with you). Back in the day I rated the first Asian women I have ever banged as 7s and 8s as well. When I think back now, they were closer to 6s to be honest.

I haven't seen many women whom I would consider an 8 or even higher in Cebu during the day. And I spent almost all of my free time at the malls. Cebu does have plenty of average easy girls though, think 6s and 7s (with makeup) but nothing outstanding in my opinion. Still, I very much like the city and I prefer it over Manila for various reasons.

^ yes that is a valid point. I think it's a grey area with the 7's and 8's. I think forum member Creepin33 made a good point a while ago in saying the only difference between an 8 and a 6 was makeup and clothing was accurate. And also, The model I'm currently dating. Maybe to you or someone else she's just a 7.5-8. But, to me she's a knock out.

Now THAT is genius. I bet that applies across many emerging market countries. Great example of going where the quality is, and positioning yourself very strategically. Very nice.

Hey Schlep, great report and some excellent game ideas, especially about beauty contests, shows and daygame.

Question about logistics: any specific areas within IT park which are preferable for renting an apartment?

Question about beauty contests, events, etc. How do you "work the room" when you get there? How do you get numbers and, at the same time, not appear "creepy" to other girls in the venue?

Daygame: did you calculate your success rate with Philippino girls? Did it improve over time and, if so, how did you change your approach to get better results?

^ In I.T park there are two condo towers. Avida tower one and two, next to McDonalds. These towers are only about 30% full. They are desperate for someone to rent to. Plus, with McDonalds next door. Just have girl meet you there. Wait for her to text you. Then just walk over.

Beauty contests- do not pay any attention to the girls while you are there. Sit and mingle with the men only. Talk to them about business and real estate topics. They will also tell you about the smaller beauty pageants that are not listed online. Some of these men are there for the same purpose as you. Others are fathers of the contestants, hoping their daughter's land a rich foreigner. The fathers will game you. I never talked to a woman at all. But, left with three numbers. I was currently dating a model I met at a real Estate conference here in Avida. We were leaving to go to a resort in Mactan the next day and I haven't pursued the opportunities yet.

Note: when your in I.T park. You will see a big red sign that says AVIDA. next to the sign is a smaller building. This is where you will find the real estate conferences. If it is closed. Just ask around.

Daygame: I wasted two days focusing on only Korean girls. That turned out to be a disaster. But, to answer your question. I never changed my approach with philipinas. Just approach at the mall or street. Act like your lost and then ask her if she's single. 90% of the time she will say yes.

Online game: in my opinion, it's just a huge waste of time. Why go through the hassle when you can just go to the mall and have a date in 30 minutes.

My two cents on going on a date with a model:
When she shows up for the date. She's going to bring her little in titled princess attitude with her. Five minutes into the date she was on her phone texting. I firmly informed her that it was rude and disrespectful. I constantly acted like I was bored and ready to leave. Then pretented I wasn't interested in her. Put her in the friend zone. I made comments about the two of us being friends and maybe having lunch sometime if I'm free.
After about 30 minutes she started to game me.

Food:
Yakski barbecue, this is a new restaurant here in I.T park.
Business hours are 10:00am - 10:00pm
If your looking for a great meal. Ask for the chicken breast on a stick with rice. Trust me, it's a big meal. Soda, beer or water. 90 pesos for the whole meal and drink. If you order takeout it's an extra 10 pesos.

Mactan island resort:

If you guys want to maximize your stay in Cebu city. Going on numerous dates, day after day can get tedious. Find a pretty girl that you enjoy spending time with. Take her to a nice resort on Mactan island.

Costabella island resort:
We spent three days here and had the time of our lives. From the moment you step foot on the property you are treated like a king. Booked my trip through Orbitz at 135$ a night. Yes, it's expensive but, completely worth it. They have two medium size pools and beautiful white sand beach. The ocean water is about 3 feet deep in most places. But, you can swim out pretty far to the deeper areas. You can swim and dive down and collect star fish and shells. Water is crystal clear.

Transportation:
Taxi service from I.T park to Mactan island. 45mins - to an hour depending on traffic. 300- 400 pesos each way.

Money exchange: if you need to convert your currency to pesos, you can do that at the front desk. But, the rate isn't the best and I do not recommend it. 42 pesos to 1 dollar.

My room: I have never seen a single bed so big in my life. This bed looked like it could have slept a family of ten. Lol..no shit. Nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Huge bathroom, semi fast wifi and a mini bar.

Things to do:
You will never be bored, thats for sure. My girl and I went on the parasailing tour. One of the best experiences of my life. 3600 pesos for two of us. The crew of the boat were top notch. They take you at different altitudes and then bring you down to dip your legs and feet in the water.

Tip: do not book these adventures through the resort. I saved about 400 pesos per person with a local filipino man.

Other things to do: they have every kind of water sports you can think of. We wanted to rent jet ski's but, never found the time.

Food:
You can order food and drinks anytime of the day or night. Anywhere on the resort grounds. You want to eat dinner on the beach? No problem. Lunch by the pool? No proplem. You need another beer? Just raise your hand and the waitress will be there. But, be careful. Your expenses will add up quick.

Free buffet style breakfast. Basically, anthing you want for breakfast is available and free.

Mistakes I made:
Not bringing sun burn aloha.
Also, if your a smoker, pay attention to this. They have one designated area on the property for smoking. When I was in my room at night, I would smoke out on the balcony. Then put the butts in an empty bottle. Well, apparently when the maid was cleaning our room she saw this. Upon my checkout, I was informed that I was being charted an extra 2500 pesos for breaking the smoking rule. I was pissed but, realize that it was my fault.

If you guys are looking for a great place to take a girl. Without paying a fortune to travel to Palawan. This is a great alternative.

Oslob trip report:

If your in Cebu city and looking for something fun to do. Travel to Oslob city. You can swim with the whale sharks. Also, a great experience.

Oslob city is located about 3 - 4 hours south of Cebu city on Cebu island. Take taxi to Cebu city bus terminal. About 170 pesos each way. Buses have air conditioning and are comfortable. Bus fare was 180 pesos each way. The bus will stop halfway for a bathroom break.

When you get off at the bus stop in Oslob city. Locals will approach you asking if you need a ride on their scooter to your hotel. 60 pesos for a ride.

You can find cheap hotels here very easily. But, Oslob city isn't the most attractive place around. You will get a small shitty room for 700 pesos a night. I negotiated him down from 1000 pesos a night.

Food:
I ate street food here in the city. Not going to lie. It wasn't anything to brag about. My meal consisted of fish, liver, rice and warm San Miguel pisner beer.

Swimming with the whale sharks: fucking awesome!
1500 pesos for one hour. One hour doesn't sound like a long time but, when your snorkeling and battling the current, it is a long time. On our tour, we had two large whale sharks and two smaller ones to see. They get so close to you that you have to move away from them.

You are not allowed to touch the sharks.
Do not wear sun screen. Not allowed. The staff will make you wash it off because of the whale sharks being sensitive to the chemicals.

Locker to store your personal items: 50 pesos
Lunch at the tour spot: 160 pesos

Again, can't say enough great things about this trip. This vacation has been the best time of my life.

Food/Drinks spots in Cebu:

Ayala Mall- Whole variety of food here from low end to high-end. Funny thing is that the prices between low end (Jollibee or Burger King) to high end the difference is less than 300 pesos/person

Some spots i checked out in Ayala Mall

Brique- classy italian joint. I really like the glazed miso salmon w/garlic mashed potatos. The pasta was good. Also had the squash soup. Take a date her and watch her do the IG bit. For most filipinas, it is truly out of their price range but v cheap for us. I dropped about 1000 pesos on the lunch for two. Very high quality food though and accordingly the crowd fits. Some high end filipina girls hang out here.

Social food- Lounge bar/open air restaurant. Its on the rooftop. They show american sports on TV @ the bar. Good spot to talk to expats if thats your thing. Great spot to take a date @ night

Tsui Tsua.... sp?- Japanese joint. Nice. Walked by. I've had it in Tagaytay. Def. mid-level joint. Mostly koreans and Filipino families

Thai food on the 2nd floor( i think?) of the Ayala Terraces near the stage- Huge portions. Decent food. Def order 1 portion for 2 people. Cool little date spot. Sit towards the back during the day or you will overheat.

It seems like the floors 1-3 are a mix of low-mid cuisine priced from around 150-300 pesos/person. Rooftop is the nicer joints priced from 200-500 pesos/person. Couple japanese spots that looked reasonable on the rooftop. Social house is a great spot to have drinks w/a higher-end filipina.

_____________________
Crossroads complex- Lots of higher end restaurants and one of my favorite bars in Cebu.
- Yoko D.... sp?- Izakaya next to Distillery. Its overflowing w/koreans and japanese. Usually extremely busy on friday/saturday. I came here on my first night and was just hanging out watching the koreans drink. Spit some streetwalk game at the nearby Japanese tables and at Filipinas walking by.

- Ramen spot @ the end- Incredible ramen. Took 2 filipinas here on a date.

- Maya: Mexican food by the Abaca group (one of the best restaurantuers in Cebu). Never stepped in here but one of the girls rotated through here. Salsa dancing on Weds and Sunday. Weds is the busier night.

- Pho: Never stepped in here either. Pretty slow most night except Friday/Saturday. Apparently its delicious.

Highlight of Crossroad is def
- Lounge bar Distillery- I like the downstairs area to talk to random people when its crowded but my favorite is the outdoor smoking area @ the rooftop. Grab a table and just kick back. Great spot to take girls on any night. Grab a bottle and drink w/her. Sit next to the fan. Great people watching of the parking lot too. Fridays/Saturday is def crazy busy. Thursday pops too around 11.30-12. Buy a bottle and check it in if you can't finish it. I paid 1000 pesos for a bottle of Russian Standard Vodka and 3k-ish pesos for a JW Double Black. Cans of soda = 50 pesos.

Extraordinary mentions-
La Vie- cute french date spot. Beautiful outside decor w/lighting. Outside is a french bakery/cold cuts store and wine cellar. Buy and bring to any of the outside tables. They also have a pizza station where you can order. Great spot to kick back w/some wine and just relax.

Also La Vie restaurant- amazing french cuisine w/the waitresses in cute outfits. Foie Gras if thats your thing. I settled on egg couque (i think?) app, fish plate, my girl had the beef bistrot. Topped it off w/a creme brulee. Amazing ambiance and great date spot. Spent 2k pesos for two. Same meal would cost $150 back in the USA.

Honorable mention:
Anzani- Apparently one of the best italian joints in the city. Never stepped in here but it comes high recommended.

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

I.T park Ayala Cebu city trip report (by Schlep)

I have to now say that the thing that gets this city so much press is the proximity to some decent tourist/beaches/beach resorts. I have ended up taking a few trips out to some of those sites from the South Bus Terminal or to Mactan and they turned out well. I was recently in Badian to see Kawasan Falls as well. A little touristy with the Koreans doing canyoneering there, but I still had a great time.

It's certainly not the food that's the draw. Local food is absolutely disgusting here. Seems like all the decent spots are the top tier foreign places. Haven't eaten at Maya yet, but I have had some good Japanese and Korean joints...away from Ayala. Best malls I've been to in this city have been Robinson's Galleria Mall / JY Square Mall on Salinas where locals don't gawk as much. Places like Azabu come to mind.

Speaking of gawking, I have definitely been getting the stink eye here from some of these guys and for me there is a growing sense of hostility from them. Not sure what it is, but they need to stay the fuck away from me. I've picked up some Cebuano, but much good it's done me. Speak to them in English and keep these people at arms length. People here are extremely untrustworthy and think that I somehow can't see through their transparent 'hospitality'. I have made decent locals friends who appear well off, but they phased out really quickly. Maybe because they realize I am tightfisted with money and not some spendy tourist.

Girls here are okayish. Easy to get into bed once they finally come out on a date, but they are mostly morons with huge personality problems. High-end girls my ass. Can't just be a bitch and claim you are westernized. You also need tact and sensibilities. Had one oversized muppet looking thing tell me that foreign men come here bc it's cheap and to exploit women then started yelling and saying some racist shit. I managed to meet a few girls who were fairly smart and were ok in bed and didn't act like retarded 12 year old kids, but it took a lot of weeding through single moms and scummy destitute types.

There are some fantastic spots in town including new nightlife which I will go into detail later, but I just felt like ranting about this place. I haven't even done that much game here, but I've been spotted several times already. Getting shit in my text msgs like "HeLLo dear i think i saw u earlier at Yello Ceb." Fuck off.

I've spoken to my Manila friends about it and they all laugh and say the SAME thing about Cebu/Cebuanos -- cowards. Already looking for flights deals.

Maine and Canadian lobsters are the same animal. Prove me wrong.

Make sure to also check out Malapascua and Bantayan in the north, and of course Bohol. If you have enough time, you could also squeeze in a week on Siargao. By plane it is only accessible from Cebu and I consider it one of the most beautiful places I have seen so far in Southeast Asia.

I spent a month on Siargao Island last year in November. It's a beautiful place and great for surfing, but it can get a bit tedious. It rained almost every day and internet connectivity is inconsistent, so it's not ideal for more than a short stay.

I also did a month in Cebu and I wouldn't go back. It doesn't suck, but there's nothing there that wowed me. I liked exploring the surrounding area on my motorbike. I don't like malls, so spending lots of time in them wasn't interesting.

I agree. One month on Siargao is too much, unless you really want to focus on surfing. I think one week is perfect and of course you should avoid raining season.

I agree with Ragnar, I'd be seriously curious to know what you guys are defining as 8s. I have been to Phillipines many times, currently spending about 6 weeks here, met many of the hottest "models" that I guarantee you are way hotter then whatever you can find on tinder, and and without makeup and all the shit they are still 6s maybe 7s at absolute best. So i'm really curious to define what you guys think a "6" is in the Philippines.

Mexico, on the other hand has some hideous and I really mean hideous girls but you see plenty of 8s walking around the nicer areas too, sometimes even 9s and 10s.

There is more snow in the Phillipines then there are 8s. 9,s and 10s don't exist (at least not without surgery). 75% of Philipinas are in the 4-6 range, maybe 5% are a 7, and 20% are hideous like below 4. Its actually really surprising how you see so few really ugly girls but very few above a 6 either.

To be an 8 I would have to say she should have like C or D cup tits, a nice round ass, a small bit of muscle too to define the fat, lighter or even blue eyes. She should probably be at least 5"3 - 5"8 range, defined cheekbones, big puffy lips. This could easily define many girls I bone in Mexico but virtually zero in Phillipines. 80% of young Phillipinas girls are certainly bonable but don't have the height, tits, ass or lips that would define an 8 or above, and if she does you are probably looking at a dude.

Maybe its my latino genetics but I could never define a girl with zero tits and a tiny ass (i.e. 90% of girls here) as a "6" that is a 5 in my book even if she is skinny and has an OK face.

Phillipines can be a great holiday spot, especially cebu and bohol.

I wouldn't' a gree that it's ultra safe at all. The reason that there are two armed guards in mcdonalds, is because they need them. I am not saying you going to get shot, but it can take a turn for the nasty really quick. You need to be careful.

The service and luxury for the price you pay is just fantastic value. Great scuba diving around cebu and boracay.

The reason you might think there are a lot of 8s around and others think 6s is whether or not you are into the filipino look or not. If you are, then it will be heaven for you. They are not my cup of tea.

There are tons of Korean girls there, and they are hard to game because they are racist, travel in packs, don't speak english and there for holiday with quality man at home. Not impossible to get the bang, but not worth the effort when you are already surrounded by Asian women more interested in you....

I also prefer Cebu over Manila. I have had good results with the women in Manila. But, just didn't like the city at all.

Been for a few days here (manila/cebu) and wondering if I'm missing the spots, missing something or should have changed my lenses prescriptions. Glad to read this comment. The filipinas are definitively one of the ugliest. I got laid with a half-filipina/half-spanish and it was 7 at best.

The other filipinas are either too short, have good body but weird faces, have good faces but deformed bodies, have terrible acne (not common in asia/china/thailand), etc... I'd say 3-6 walking around and there is the occasional 7. Maybe I saw 2-3 8s during these whole days. Excluding foreigners which are not common anyway.

I think we need to have a sliding scale that accounts for genetic limitations and socioeconomic issues in any given country or region.

Comparing the average Pinay to a Slavic 10 is absurd. Plus she’ll probably have rotten breath. You could call her a zero in comparison. But honestly how many guys are banging Russian supermodels? That same zero amongst her pinay peers could easily be a 7.

I constantly readjust my scale when traveling. Sure there’s a certain standard I want. That’s largely theoretical. You have to deal with the reality of what’s available to you online, walking around, in social circles, etc.

Then after you bang a few of locals you realize body rating points isn’t even all that good a classification. You have to factor in trade offs for quantity of lost bangs, personal sexual/emotional satisfaction, monetary/time cost for the date, etc.
