The hubris of people thinking that their police forces being "on highest level of alert" will protect them from terror attacks.

Yep, the EU has nobody but their wonderful government to thank for this. The same thing that is happening in Europe now has happened in the United States; the government creates a "boogeyman" so the attention can be diverted from the real problem, those at top. The powers that be want Europeans to fight and hate Muslims like the United States government first turned poor Southern whites against blacks and are now using illegal immigrant Mexicans as the new "enemy" now.

There are times I just wish a military coup can just take these people out. Soros, Rothschild, Rockerfeller, etc. need to be taken out and burned in the public square. Meanwhile Israel is going to dance on the graves on Belgium and Paris the way they danced on the grave of 9/11 in New York. They can smell another expansionist war on the horizon and can't wait to give the "talk" to whoever is replacing Obama this November. I smell a rat from a mile away.

True. And that is what I wanted to emphasize.

If America builds the wall, it will probably cause a domino effect on Europe (Europeans are not a completely lost cause like many believe here). You know that Europe nowadays is trying to imitate the US in all aspects - cultural (multiculturalism), political (the EU system and so on). Therefore, a political change in the US will cause the same in Europe.

It's often been said that what's not needed are more laws (the common demand of Leftists) but sufficient funding and resources to enforce those laws that already exist. It just costs no money to pass another stupid law.

This Summer will be interesting to watch. Sure the EU can make all sorts of claims about increased safety, crackdowns on "terrorism" etc. but 1) they have very little control over their borders so it's easy to get in and 2) these attacks are mostly home grown now so there is a massive fifth column in the EU that isn't going away anytime soon.

Also, if you don't police the banlieus and have lost total control there, then you're increasingly not going to be able to effectively police the nicer parts of these cities (i.e. the touristy areas) too.

Just look at France and what happened after the attacks there - a lot of drama, all sorts of promises by Hollande and the government that "this time it's different"...and now...crickets....and not much has changed...the politicians in the EU basically use these things to "act tough" and score political points, then do nothing. And they are all so far to the progressive left than their hands are tied (willingly tied I might add, as they are mostly a destructive class of people) due to the whole "racism"/"Islamophobia" usual BS.

I'd say for all the major tourist attractions it is way too dangerous right now. This is not to say I think any of the guys in there right now would find it overly dangerous, but someone in-country is, simply put, going to be in a better position to spot a situation or person who is a bit "out of place". Your average Western tourist going in for a few weeks, not a chance; if pickpockets know which places to hang around to hit tourists, I see no reason terrorists would not.
