Media outlets that hated on the meetups are laying off hundreds of journalists

Normally, I would not take any sort of joy in someone losing their job. But seeing as how their jobs were all predatory, good riddance.

They had it coming. Let's hope Buzzfeed is next.
I doubt Buzzfeed will have any problems anytime soon. They've hit on a winning formula that seems to keep on delivering.

One can be optimistic. There will come a point where they run out of list topics and silly videos to make.

Don't forget Gawker is about to go down. They screwed themselves over bad. They couldn't turn down the snark and smug for 1 second in the trial and looked like complete sociopaths.

Seems a bit harsh no? He said "if the law allowed". He's not suggesting violence at all from what I can see.
Your forum though. Your rules.
EDIT: meh, I take that back. I guess saying something like that isn't too smart.

These are the other subsidiary properties
Gawker.com
Deadspin
Gizmodo
Jalopnik
Jezebel
Kotaku
Lifehacker
I hope that, like Twinkies, Lifehacker and Gizmodo survive somehow. I actually occasionally read both those sites, and they post quite a bit of useful information with minimal fluff.
The good writers will be hired anywhere. I'd rather see all Gawker properties burned down and hopefully no one tries to buy it. The social justice was creeping in to a lot of those sites. Gizmodo/Lifehacker would publish the usual hitpieces against Gamergate and the women are being oppressed in STEM garbage.

Jesus calm down lads I took back my original questioning. I can see that it was probably not the smartest thing to post if he didn't want a ban.
It was an honest question although I should've known it would look quite trollish coming from a 2 post account. My bad.
By the way - I may not have many posts but I've been around these parts waaaaayy longer than most of you. Pre-RVF. I'm talking DCB old-school Roosh. I've literally read every Roosh post on his blog for about a decade. Pretty sure I haven't missed any. Top that motherfuckers!
But yeah, I stand corrected. He probably deserved the 7-day.
I'll return to the shadows. Carry on!

Thus far, though, Viceland doesn’t seem to be bringing anyone to TV. The average daily viewership of the channel over its first three weeks is a massive 77 percent lower than H2’s viewership over the last three weeks of its existence, according to Rentrak data obtained by International Business Times. And if you think the percentage is bad, the raw numbers are worse: H2 averaged a little over 241,000 viewers a day during that time period. Viceland? Just over 55,000. Viceland’s first week averaged around 60,400 viewers a day.
