Ho Chi Minh relocation?

Ok so D7 is full of serviced apartments from $350 upwards that you can rent on a month by month basis. I would suggest you get one of these for your first month and see if you like the area, before committing to a longer apartment lease. The only major downside of these types of places is that you may not have a kitchen or only get a very basic one.

Remember that all prices you see are negotiable, so push for a better price, don't let the agents fool you. D7 is probably the most expensive area to live in Saigon however it's one of the cleanest and nicest areas too, imo. There are many Koreans and Westerners here, but it's nothing like the chaos of D1. I'd say if you want a quieter area with good facilities then it's great. If you want to be near to D1 and party a lot then not so good. The best advice i can give is to post on expats in Ho Chi Minh City on facebook and many people will contact you with rooms/apartments available. It's a lottery in regards to security and bringing girls back, try and discuss this in a polite way with the landlord/agent before signing anything to see where they stand.

District 7 is really nice, but I can't recommend living there if you want to network or party.

I understand the own apartment thing, it's a lot better. But a serviced apartment usually isn't that - you have a room in a house with an ensuite bathroom. That one you posted seems ok, but like I said, D7.

I second crisj's advice - post on that FB.

I liked riding through D7 and going to the malls, but I like the more robust feel of D1 better. In D1, I was never bored out of my mind. I rented a place for about 55 usd a night based on a member's intel. Place was called Christina's. I got great value for money. I could easily bring girls back bc it was owned by a foreigner, but I brought way too much attention to myself apparently. It was not private at all and overall undermined how many girls I could bring back.

The accommodation was in an alleyway and the door was opened by my keychain. It was a double glassdoor with management sitting at the desk always ready to greet people, so you can see how that was unnerving.

I'm gonna be doing another stint soon, so I'm probably gonna have to research hard. Those serviced apartments are starting to sound great.

Yeah I hate to crap on your D7 idea but I was under the impression that is mostly where English teachers live rather than people that work online like myself. Online business peeps tend to be in D1,2,3 or Binh Thanh.

There are some very nice apartments for good prices out there though, one thing that annoys me about district 1 is you get really poor value for your money. If you want a baller modern serviced apartment you can expect to pay way more than you would in other cities like Bangkok, KL or even Da Nang.

I decided to try D7 and booked three nights a hotel and rented a 50cc motorbike to drive around. I like the place, its really clean, chill and quiet, but i dont think its a good idea to live here before i have some sort of a social network. So for now D1 it is.

I actually haven't seen many western people at all here, and for sure no young ones, mostly what i think is Korean.

I gave up the District 7 idea, i did like it but not now, not as a new arrived in town. If i would settle here, D7 would be the place.
I am going to look at a area/street in D1 tomorrow which apparently attracts lots of young location independent people. Dont remember the name right now, but from what i understand there will be signs with "room for rent" all over the place. Hopefully i can find a room with a kitchen big enough to fry eggs in the morning, bring girls at least sometimes and a area for my computer + extra screen. We will see.

Dont remember if i said before, but lately i have went on coffee dates with 3 girls, two of whom was disappointing and i will not meet again, one was nice though, 25yo, very short, thin and feminine. Not sure about the boobs but there is a chance they are really good. Will meet again. I have been reading many times now about the Vietnamese boobs and i look forward to experience them. My logistics are not very good right now for taking home girls, but hopefully withing the next couple of days i have good logistics again.

One of the girls i have seen a couple of times now, its pretty nice but i really want some more new ones. With some with it will be easy though. Now that i think of it, i will start right now and max out tinder+vietnamcupid again.

My guess, knowing these girls, she's juggling multiple guys and she meant to text someone else, probably in Europe or elsewhere. Doubt it's anything more than that.

Clubs stay open late enough that all the non-pro girls are likely to have gone home by then. The nightlife keeps going till sunrise if you want with the likes of Go 2 bar on bui vien after (they have a club upstairs, mostly hookers but later in the night often normal girls go to chill outside too).

I personally like Blanchys and Xu bar for early in the night, lots of girls in those places are very open to foreigners, some too much in that they are hunting for rich expats. The best club is Lush, especially on Tuesday's ladies night where you get some insane ratios. Apocalypse isn't great, lots of hookers but you might get lucky, I met a really cute normal girl there and dated her for a bit. You also have some skybars with glow and chill, they are little expensive and pretentious but glow gets my vote because the music can be pretty good if you like some chilled house music. If you've got a decent budget I would recommend bringing a girl here with you.

Almost forgot, there is another bar opposite Sheraton called last call where people go after clubs, the music is great but very hit and miss if there's any nice girls there.

Turned out it was actually her ex that is very jealous, somehow used viber from computer or something.

I only been to a vuvuzela once but i liked it.

Had a nice last couple of days, been riding alot of motorbike and starting to get used to it, its even starting to get fun.
I also met up with a cool guy from this forum, we met up for coffe, then went out drinking some beers and then met up again for some daygame. As someone mentioned here or some other thread, daygame is not effective here, but i got a number from one girl that was good at english so that was nice.

Also i had my third vietnam notch today and i finally got to experience the vietnamese boobs [Image: biggrin.gif] Whats weird about it is that i mistook her for somewhat fat, but turned out she was not and she had pretty big boobs, i liked them.
This one was pretty fast aswell.. We started to talk yesterday on viber, i could tell she was very interested and offered to pick me up in D7 where i had to leave my motorbike. So she did and i said i was so sweaty from driving in the sun, she said "i can drive you to your place and you can shower", Yes please. We got there i tried to get her up to my room, didnt work, she wanted to wait outside. I went in to shower then out and we went looking for a ice cream place. Found one and spent maybe one hour there, nothing special just normal small talk. She said on the way to the ice cream place "i have to go up 06.30 so i really dont want to be out late" so when we arrived at my place again i thought it was dead, but she kissed me and said "can i see your room?", Yes you can [Image: biggrin.gif]
She had jeans shorts and no underwear, that was nice.
I will see her again, she seems to understand im not here to marry or something.
So hopefully i have two plates/fuck buddies. And i also have more than a couple leads on new girls. Why isnt home like this?

Edit: Also i can hear my neighbors from downstairs REALLY good, so they probably heard us very good.
I started trying some dirty talk also, never did that before hope they didnt hear haha

Normal girls in Vietnam usually go home by midnight as they either live with family or in gated communities that lock their doors around 11-12.

Not sure about that, you can literally just sit in a park in Saigon and people will come and talk to you. Yes, they want to practice English but if they are cute girls then get their number. If they aren't cute, then say sorry you're busy, so you don't waste any time. Doesn't get much easier than that and it's exactly how I got my first lay in Vietnam, which turned into a 3 month relationship.

Alright maybe i was too fast to judge, will be open to daygame of course but i dont think i will go out with the purpose of daygaming, but who knows, im readin daybang(?) by Roosh right now.

Got a question,
Last night at the ice cream place, I was talking and all of a sudden she took up her phone and looked at it, i thought it was rude so i stopped and said something like "What are you doing?". Dont remember what she said but it was clear she thought it was the most normal thing in the world to do like that, and remember, this girl must have liked me a lot since SHE kissed me and SHE invited herself up to my room so i doubt she would do anything to upset me on purpose.
Is this something i just should accept here?

Just read through this entire read. From the looks of it, Vietnam sounds pretty good so far. One thing that has attracted me is the extremely low CoL.

I'm curious to see if anybody is down to relocate to HCMC within the next month and split a dirt cheap (but quality) 2 bedroom apartment in District 1, or somewhere not far off from the city centre. I'm considering relocating there soon.

Networking opportunities and pussy-chasing opportunities are greater when you're working together. Self-improvement, location independence, building up online businesses and passive income, and banging a shitload of hot, exotic girls are my ultimate goals.

It is effective. From the look of it, OP has said he's new to daygame and doesn't practice it much, so of course he's not going to be successful (yet).

Daygame is effective everywhere, as it is normal life. It's talking to girls in their natural habitat.

Nightgame is what will vary significantly based on location, and not always be the best bet.

Almost anywhere in S.E.A.- go to a mall, talk to girls working in shops, girls in the food court, girls shopping... massive amounts of opportunity there. 80%+ of my bangs in Asia are from simply talking to girls during the day, often at their work. The added bonus is you know they aren't a hooker. And it costs nothing

You can have far more success in Saigon seeking out girls to talk to during the day than going to clubs/bars, especially if you're interested in quality.

Completely normal, Vietnamese girls are glued to their phones and obsessed with social media. It's not uncommon to see a group of friends go out to a cafe and proceed to whip out their phones and not even talk or look at each other. Strange world we live in.

It's definitely a good place to do those things but I would probably recommend Binh Thanh district for a 2 bedroom apartment, though they aren't that cheap, not sure what your budget is. Look online for apartments at the manor or saigon pearl.

I dont know how much you mean by "dirt cheap" but there seem to be plenty of $250/month rooms here, and I think this is a expensive area.

No, I am actually not new to daygaming, i have maybe 600-1000 approaches from mostly Stockholm and at least 4 lays from daygame.
What i meant in that its not effective is that alot of the girls are not talking english well enough. We were at vincom center and talked to some staff, and of course not a big sample but thats my impression over all, a lot of the girls dont speak english and finding the ones who are might be too time consuming. But again maybe not, my sample is too small and i will definitely try to find some daygame approaches.

Very weird, still think that i dont want to accept that kind of behavior, but i will be more gentle about it.

So i had a really interesting day today.
Today was the day of my motorcycle drivers license test(A2, 50cc-unlimited), very weird but i passed it [Image: biggrin.gif][Image: biggrin.gif] I dont get the driver license until next week though, but then i can driver whatever motorcycle i want here.

Tomorrow afternoon i have a date with a cute girl i was on a coffee date a couple of days ago and on Wednesday i have a date with a girl that i think is really nice! Would be really sweet if i could get the both of them home, although im a bit worried about the guy sitting in the lobby sometimes, i brought a girl yesterday and wasn't a big problem, but i think he wont like me bringing different girls. SHOULD be fine though, i was very clear with the landlady i wanted to bring guests without problem, she said it was fine and that i had to pay $5 for overnight guests, which i thought was weird but OK, i want to sleep alone and the girls seems to want to go home aswell. So if that guy gives me trouble, i will talk to the landlady i she will solve it for the future i think.

The room i have now, i have until 25th then i have to move out for a week, then i get the room for as long as i want. I will change for a smaller one though, much more easy to get cold with the AC, don't face the alley so much more quiet and i think it is not as bad isolation between neighbors as in this bigger room.
Overall it will be much cheaper, but its not baller at all, this room kind of is, but i have to choose comfort since i will probably spend many hours in my room playing/working. I told her i want 1 month starting april 1.

Thinking about going to Vung Tao 25th, nice to spend some time on the beach again, and i have one girl there that seems very interested. We will see.

Life is good.

This is how to to day game in Saigon:

Walk around D1 during lunchtime or around 5pm. Approach well dressed office girls on the street (they usually speak some English) and with a big smile on your face ask "Excuse me, where is the nearest coffee shop?" Its Vietnam, so there will be at least five coffee shops in plain view. The girl will usually smile and point, then ask her which one is her favorite. Ask her to join you, and if she can't, for a number to meet later.

Day game is life in Vietnam. The decent girls rarely stay out late at the bars and clubs and you're just going to find mainly pro's and semi pro's. There will be plenty of foreign pussy but that's not what you came here for. Coffee shops, D1 sidewalks, parks, language meetups and one of my favorites: 'the scooter drive by shoe compliment'. Pull up next to a girl on a scooter and compliment her heels. Pull up again next to her at the next stop and invite her to an insta-date.

Yes sure.
It seems to me that most foreigners here dont have a driver license and it should not be problem with the police or anything like that.
The problem though is that if you drive without a drivers license you are not
health insured, so it might end up reeeeallly expensive if you get hurt/hurt someone else(i think).

There are two alternatives:
A1 which is up to 170 or 175cc, i think all motorbikes are in this range. Through the service i used, this costs $150

A2 Which is unlimited CC and the one i did, i didnt know but there are apparently very expensive taxes on big bikes making it expensive to have/rent motorcycles. I paid $320 for it and i think there is a good chance i will never drive anything bigger than 170cc here, but you never know when the opportunity arises.

When i arrived the gave me a honda rebel 250cc to practice on:
[edit] the picture became huge so here just a link to a picture of bike.
http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcycl...X250C2.jpg
Which is the same later used for the driving test, which consists of driving in a course formed like a 8 and a small track, i dont have much experience driving motorcycles but have driving motocross a couple of times and a moped at home, and after some practice i was pretty good at the course.

The theory test is 100% in Vietnamese, but they help you pass it very easy.

Just send me a pm and i'll link the service i used.
