Meghan Trainor's latest "empowering" song

Meghan Trainor, who brought us pro-fat anthem "All About That Bass," recently released this hit single about telling off men who try to start a conversation:

Quote:Quote:

I think it's so cute and I think it's so sweet
How you let your friends encourage you to try and talk to me
But let me stop you there, oh, before you speak

Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no
My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no
My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no

First you gonna say you ain't runnin' game, thinkin' I'm believing every word
Call me beautiful, so original, telling me I'm not like other girls
I was in my zone before you came along, now I'm thinking maybe you should go
Blah, blah, blah, I be like nah to the ah to the, no, no, no

All my ladies listen up
If that boy ain't giving up
Lick your lips and swing your hips
Girl all you gotta say is...

My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no
My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no

Thank you in advance, I don't wanna dance (nope)
I don't need your hands all over me
If I want a man, then I'mma get a man
But it's never my priority

I was in my zone, before you came along, don't want you to take this personal
Blah, blah, blah, I be like nah to the ah to the, no, no, no

All my ladies listen up
If that boy ain't giving up
Lick your lips and swing your hips
Girl all you gotta say is...

My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no
My name is no
My sign is no
My number is no
You need to let it go
You need to let it go
Need to let it go
Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no

I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
(Nah to the ah to the, no, no, no)
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable
I'm feeling...
Untouchable, untouchable

I know it's just a song, but mass distributed pop is a reflection of the attitudes of the young generation. And if Meghan Trainor is any indication, millenial girls are most enthusiastic about getting fat and being nasty to men.

This song has already attracted a rather dedicated fan base...

This sorry excuse for music doesn't change anything. The requirements for getting laid with good looking girls remain the same.
Don't sweat it, brothers.

What a cunty little tune.

Yesterday morning I was sitting in an Uber hungover and leaving a girl's place and this song came on. My first thought was, "I cannot wait to read the RVF thread on this one"

If a girl's uninterested and politely rejects a man then okay fine. But it's like girls today take pride in who can be the biggest bitch about it.

That's got more one syllable words than a Dr Suess book. Roosh points out a man wrote it, but I'm guessing it was a 7 year old boy.

The people ultimately responsible for this carefully crafted mind control are the same people who are ultimately responsible for disseminating "empowering" messages about the single female voter, like in the other recent thread. They're just covering their bases: reinforce and support the drift from the natural law of procreation(because no matter what a woman does, that desire will always be in the back of her mind) by discouraging the mating with a man with songs like this, and encourage and move towards viewing childbirth as either an obstacle, or a consumer process("freeze your eggs for later").

It's a Hegelian Dialectic: men are terrible but we have the solution: consequence-free sex during the evening, a useless marketing/HR/admin job during the day.. In the most seductive manner possible, they're literally trying to convince women to embrace death itself, which is ultimately what transhumanism is about.

I'd pay to see the look on her face when her "Dear Future Husband" says "NO" to tying the knot.

With all that fat on her body, I don't think she'd be able to feel anything from the waste down.

It's always the dumpy-to-fat girls who are complaining about guys supposedly hitting on them too much.

It's all just a twisted humblebrag, nothing more.

This thread needs Ivanka.

Now, on another note, I was in a car with a friend of mine (liberal, non-lifter, very blue pill, etc.) and he commented that modern music seems to be based around women's avoidance.

Meghan Trainor is attractive after a few 40 oz malt liquors. And even then, I think most of us do better.

If you're not fucking her, someone else is.

On a separate note - was this written by a pre-schooler?

This song is appalling garbage, but it is rather convenient being able to point to a comprehensive, self-contained example of the problems with the modern Western woman. It's like she's doing our work for us.

Western women do not objectively look at things, it will be interpreted in the way that makes herself feel good. I wrote this in another place but I think it applies - "a woman's mind - where the truth goes to die."

Girls who don't get much attention feel unwanted and try to reject you before you can reject them. I am rejected by girls who are not as attractive as I am much more harshly, even when I am just being friendly and show no romantic interest. This song should be treated like a case study of fat chick psychology. Whoever are the men behind this travesty should really be kicked out of the industry. It takes some really cynical, destructive guys to try and make money off of making victims of the obesity epidemic feel better about themselves.

Well yeah, for Trainor, I'm sure a man doesn't matter at this point, aS she's making millions from her terrible songs. But I hope some poor college students and receptionists aren't singing those lines when they're getting their septum pierced and their hair colored hot pink.

True. I've asked out girls who were 5's in my teen years, and mainly they just gave me some flip answer, like, "I'm busy organizing the SAAD club", and then they'd just ignore me.
