Since there's a boatload of discussions on men and women, the differences between men and women, etc - I thought I'd offer my take.
I've noticed that most of the claims are actually false or overgeneralized, but that there's typically a duality, here's an example of some of my observations:
Extroversion
Men are more extroverted in terms of actions (ex. competition, assertiveness)
Women are more extroverted in terms of feelings (ex. sharing emotions)
Loyalty
Men are more loyal to their friends, but less loyal to their lovers
Women are more loyal to their lovers, but less loyal to their friends (I'm sure this will be controversial to some guys here but it's my general observation)
Monogamy
Men have a stronger desire to have sex with many partners, but are easier pleased by the partner they have
Women have less of a desire for multiple partners, but are more difficult to please by the partner they have
Attractiveness
Women are attracted to men who show assertive (alpha) behavior, or who have a strong physique (ex. things like posture moreso than just "looks")
Men are attracted to women who show submissive (nice) behavior, or who have a fertile physique (ex. a young and physically attractive body)
Digust
Men are more disgusted by weakness in character (ex. beta males)
Women are more disgusted by nasty things (ex. dirt, insects, etc)
Self-esteem
Men's self esteem comes from feeling competant (ex. picking up the hot girl at the club validates his sense of competancy; on the other hand men usually dislike being offered favors or 'free stuff')
Women's self esteem comes from feeling lovable (ex. women like it when guys buy them drinks because it makes them feel doted on and lovable, and it's less about the drink itself)
Organization
Men are more organized about goals and practical manners (ex. men are usually more frugal with their money than women)
Women are more organized about routines and day-to-day manners (ex. women are usually bigger on cleaning than men).
Achievement
Men measure their achievement more competitively, even males in nontraditional careers (ex. a male nurse) feel validated more by what they accomplished there specifically
Women measure their achievements more by their generosity or more emotionally, ex. even the bossy, career-minded feminists tend to measure their achievements by claiming it's about "female empowerment" or something with a more altruistic connotation
Implusiveness
Women are more likely to start emotional conflict or passive aggression (ex. starting arguments over petty issues)
Men are more likely to start physical conflict or direct verbal confrontation (ex. men's threshhold is usually a lot higher than women's but if it breaks he's more likely to escalate into a physical fight)
Metaphor
Men are more like the night and day
Women are more like the sunrise and sunset
