Jamaican Male Teachers Flee Classroom To Escape Schoolgirl Predators

A female friend of mine married a man from Jamaica. She knows more about Jamaica than most Americans do because she has actually visited the place--not just the resorts. Jamaica is a hellhole.

Many men are involved with drugs, organized crime, and other nefarious activities. Jamaica is the opposite of America in the sense that "bad boys" are the rule and not the exception. Because "bad boys" are so common there, there is nothing special about them. Jamaican women actually desire quality men who have good jobs and treat women with respect. Rastafarians are considered very desirable for this reason.

A school teacher has a good job. If he's a teacher, he probably also has no arrest record. He's not a thug. He's not involved with organized crime. And that's why these girls are throwing themselves at teachers.

It is not even about supply and demand.... Girls in 3rd world and emerging countries need a man to be there to help take care of them. They don't have the government to fall back on after they pop out babies by 3 different guys.

That makes more sense - I've never heard of girls behaving like this- I almost wondered if they're trying to get the the teacher fired on purpose? Do they want only female teachers? The reason for this behavior is not explained at all in the article.

One of the teachers told The Sunday Gleaner that he had to walk away from the Corporate Area-based co-educational school because the girls were sending him lewd images and suggestive text messages, and when he failed to respond favourably, he was accused of being a homosexual.

Getting the homo (batty bwoy) label in Jamaica is a possible death sentence. Damned if he do and damned if he don't.

The Maximally Pathetic Schema: Xs who labor to convince Ys that “I’m not one of those despicable Zs!,” when in fact it is obvious to the meanest intelligence that the Ys see no difference between Xs and Zs, don’t care anyway, and would love to throw both Xs and Zs into a gulag.

Is it the school policy for teachers to give out their numbers? The other three male teachers had these problems too?

Agreed with JayDublin.

Jamaica, & other CARICOM countries where they don't export that much resources like Trinidad are known for ongoing poverty.

I grew up in the Caribbean, & I can tell ya how many chicks in my Grade 8 to 11 class ended up wanting a provider, a man, to care for them. It's the opposite of the feminist-infected Western world where women "don't need no man".

I'm not gonna elaborate, but ya know the thing about females using their sexuality to get her way in life.

The same could be compared to the Western world where 14-year-old chicks would dress in a short skirt wearing no panties in class to get good grades from the teacher, but I guess this newspaper article is explaining that female students are not considered the "victims" that the Western media try to portray regarding sexual misconduct of male teachers with female students.

I've also heard that Non-Profits were infesting Jamaica at the time to "legalize homosexuality" while enforcing Draconian sex crime laws on heterosexuals (ie rape hysteria & domestic violence legislation), so those articles were common in order to appease the foreign NGO and local Jamaican crowd, like discussing about social issue.

Unlike Canada or lefty parts of the USA,
Jamaican intellectual people are more open to debate on these issues rather than blindly labeling all men as sexual predators.

You will rarely read in a Canadian or American newspaper about the female student behaving flirty to the male teacher, but you will read about the "innocence" of an overpaid female teacher who was caught taking cock in her mouth, pussy and anus from several underage boys while luring & sexting several others at the same time.

Viewed as mere children then those schoolgirls actions do not make sense. Children simply do not have this kind of agency.

But viewed as young adults coming into their own with the corresponding accountability then it does make a lot of sense.

I don't get this "don't give out your phone number" business.

There are a million ways they can get your number, or they just send it to your work email address or your facebook account or whatever. In any case, the moment the first picture hit his inbox he should have duplicated his message feed and taken a copy to the police. He should have filed a report on the spot and demanded that they press charges against the minor (as in most cases these cybercrime laws count even if you're under age).

It's a shitty situation but if you don't go immediately to the police with this stuff you'll be fucked down the line.

This is another prime example of why boys should be taught by men and girls should be taught by women.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

One major reason I never started using Facebook was at my old job, some colleagues had issues where former clients would contact them. Girls would be sexual, as in this story, and the boys would sometimes make threats. Due to the population I worked with, I tried to keep it so that the kids would know as little as possible about me outside of work.

I guess I'm old, but there is one thing I remember from my school days. Most of my teachers had phone numbers that were listed in the phone book. All I had to do was look up a phone number, and I had it. Yes, I did call my teachers on the phone when I was in school.

In small towns, everybody knows everybody anyway. I also knew where some of my teachers lived. That doesn't mean I visited them, but it wasn't hard at all to get contact information for teachers outside of school.

The big differences now are that kids can send pictures over the phone and that kids have their own phones. My parents knew who I was calling on the phone some of the time. Nowadays, that oversight does not exist.

It is also possible then and now that kids have simply asked a student working in the office to get the teacher's phone number. Kids working in the office have access to lots of information, and they will give it out to their friends any time.

Seconded.

Especially on an island. We only had the white pages why I was a kid.

Kids in Hawaii call you and ask if Mapu Sisoa (say it slow) is home.

Nowadays you can get them on twitter and instagram. Again, its an island so just search Jamaica.

Aloha!
