I would say the total opposite. Don't spend a dime and go spam approach for 3 months to get over social anxieties and rejection.

Does OP actually know any hard-case virgins? Like guys who are 25+ and haven't banged any girls except prostitutes.

One approach alone gets you nowhere. You can't get good at anything doing rep a day. Generally a newbie needs at least 5 approaches to warm up socially. Ten approaches per session is a good number because repetition is key and you're likely to get at least one positive response, and those are important for a newbie in order to not burn out from all the blowouts.
