Sure. He's a Tea Party Promise Keeper on his way to an NRA presentation.

Fox radio news had a woman saying she was surprised how home land security and all kinds of other agencies got there so fast. How did all the alphabets get there so fast? They were already there at their exercise.

If it was a false flag, it doesn't seem like "they" would have used brown Islamic people. They'd have used white dudes.

From the LA Times:

Public records show a person named Syed R. Farook was employed by the San Bernardino county health department as an environmental health specialist, but it was not clear if that was the same person involved in the shooting.

Which means... wait for it... "workplace violence".

Anything but religion of piece. I can't wait to hear the islam apologists come out over the next couple days.

Happened at a Christmas party. Looks like he started a religious argument there.

He left angrily and returned later with two others and started shooting:

Home grown Islamic terrorism in my book if this is true.

Obama will call this "work place violence"

Got in the elevator leaving my condo today and I see the flyer for the condo association Christmas party... It's an Asian themed Christmas party. "Please bring Asian dishes to the potluck".

I burst out laughing in disbelief, startled the other passengers. I still cannot understand who or why or how this was even considered, let alone agreed upon.

If this is Islam-motivated, I'm guessing there's going to be a larger than average amount of backlash in the area compared to if it happened in a major metro area like LA/NYC/Chicago:

1) Predominantly lower income and lower educated population with heavy Black/Latino population that are predominantly Protestant/Catholic. I've seen several fights outside of sports bars when the Raiders/Chargers/insert rival teams play. Can imagine, it'd be easy for these groups to ramp themselves up quickly into an us vs them mindset.

2) White people who live in the area lean politically much more to the right than those in big cities in SoCal. Big gun culture here too. "Not all Muslims" liberals are in short supply.

3) Arabs in the area run a lot of check-cashing, payday loan stores and sometimes small bodega style markets. While I understand it's a necessary business, many of my staff have complained to me of what they feel are exploitative/predatory business practices. My servers also complain about Arabic customers tendencies to leave little to no tip, complain a lot and generally act unpleasant. Anecdotal yes, but it's happened dozens of times where I'm starting to wonder when it becomes statistically significant. Then again, I suppose you could say that about every other group besides middle class white people (the best tippers on the planet).

I have no desire to disrespect the dead but Rahm Emanuel's adage of "never let a crisis go to waste" is prescient here. I'm sincerely hoping that the Mayor and Council of SB use this tragedy to convince the State or Federal government to get as much grant funding as they can for additional police/fire responders and resources in the future. Bankruptcy has really set the city back and it needs all the help it can get right now.

In a tense situation, it's usually not a good idea to tell people to "relax." Relaxing is something you do on vacation at the beach. Under stress, your natural reaction is to think: "Relax? How the fuck am I supposed relax at a time like this?"

Much better to say: "Remain calm," and stick to business. Contrary the action movies, you shouldn't try to be clever with your words. This officer no doubt wanted to be reassuring, but he put a terrible image in everyone's minds.

Yep, everything he said was the opposite of what you'd want to say in that situation. The last thing you want to do is talk about people getting shot, that sure as hell isn't going to keep people calm. All it did was make them think they were in more danger than they were. Everyone was more calm prior to him saying that.

Or..., due to increasing coverage detailing Turkish, Israeli, Saudi & U.S. profiting from ISIL oil.
Perhaps a distraction for the masses was in order?

If nothing else, false flag or not.
It allows those that profit from such things to perpetuates the us vs. them motif.
IE, the old divide & conquer routine.

Updates I know from the inside:

-Syed went to La Sierra High a neighboring rival high school that I went to.
-A few people I know knew this guy.
-One mentioned he was quiet, the other said he was rude.
-One said they worked with him at a previous job.
-He has a house directly in the next city over, literally a 10 minute drive, a city I frequent. (possible father's house)
-A friends cousins wife was shot in the back - she stated that it was a disgruntled worker, that maybe had an argument (This is objective and preliminary).

From all the local coverage on the social media, radio, and TV this is my personal conclusion:

-This was planned out, this wasn't some "fuck you guys I'm pissed" -leaves, comes back- "I hate you all" -starts shooting scenario
-They have Tac Equipment, this WAS PRE PLANNED.
-This wasn't some random act of violence.
-VERY high probability this was religiously motivated.

Fuck this guy, fuck religion, and now I'm worried being a brown brother with facial hair - about ordering 1000 rounds of 5.56 - and that I'll get a visit from FBI [Image: dodgy.gif]

There was a thing in the "you know you're an RVF member when" thread about coming to RVF when major news events happen, to get the best information and analysis. This thread shows that's true times ten. Guys reading this thread have a better understanding of what's going on than the US president, and that's even if we had someone in that office with a working brain.
