Infantilized Yale students meltdown over professor’s thoughts on Halloween costumes

For anyone that has been paying attention, the last 25 years children have been coddled and shielded like never before in human history. The offspring of ultra wealthy have lived in a fantasy world without harm, danger or challenge. The Mattress Girl generation! IF THESE FUCKS REPRODUCE their kids dont stand a chance.

Yeah honestly this culture has been building up to this point for quite some time. This is what happens when you raise a generation by helicopter parents that believe that everyone on the team deserves a trophy.

I've been teaching at a cooking school part-time for the past few months and the difference in culture compared to when I went to cooking school is massive. Everyone wants their opinion heard and needs a lot of validation, much like an insecure girlfriend. Total contrast to when I came up in the system, which was basically your opinion doesn't count, do exactly as we say, keep your head down, shut the fuck up, work hard, etc etc etc.

Yale deserves this. If you allow every freak into your school to try to be PC you must deal with the consequences. When I first watched this video, I thought they were at a McDonald's from Harlem. Where women get obnoxious and rude over not getting their french fries.

Yeah those women weren't necessarily black. I lived near the area and some them were white others were hispanic. All of them though were on the higher end of the weight scale.

Not punishing or even reprimanding these fucking brain donors would be almost as bad as apologising to them.

The opportunity to express your opinions doesn't entitle you to act like that, and they would benefit from learning that before entering the workplace, because I don't think that a 2:1 in Liberal Arts and Crafts will get you a job somewhere so damn liberal.

Can we get the girl's name ( the one dropping F bombs)? Her name needs to be memorialized on the interwebz so any potential employer can see what she's all about.

Quote:Quote:

Such emails are becoming an annual ritual on some campuses. The University of Colorado, the University of Minnesota, and Ohio University all urged their students to wear culturally sensitive costumes in 2013. One of the administrators who signed the Yale email, Burgwell Howard, sent an almost identical note to Northwestern students in 2010, the year after a blackface scandal at that university.

The amazing thing this time was not the fact that women were upset about it and raised such a shitstorm. The almost surprising thing is that it was at Yale - obviously a place of utter subversion of cultural marxism.

Also - I have read the origional PC-email. It forbids almost anything. Even wearing a cat costume might be considered offensive.

I have a feeling there will soon be a master thread in Everything Else for pointless college protests. These will proliferate like mad, and begin to make college campuses wobble and come apart like an Iranian centrifuge after Stuxnet got through with it.

Not to be left out, Berkeley High School recently had its own special meltdown. It seems that someone left something racist somehow on the monitor of a school library computer, causing much weeping and gnashing of teeth, leading directly to a march to the main plaza of the University of California Berkeley campus by 2000 of the school's 3000 students.

Nothing was hacked, there was no racist school policy. Sounds more like some kid photoshopped the school library webpage and left a screenshot on a monitor:

Quote:Quote:

District officials say the message appeared to be a modified screen shot of the school's library web page that was left on one computer in the library. It did not appear that the system had been hacked and the website altered.

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2015/11/...lkout.html

The culprit turns out to be a freshman boy, who has not been identified, meaning there is a good chance he isn't white. And it might be a hoax.

http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/pj-g...me-culprit

Anyway, there was much weeping and sobbing and a huge march of righteousness that had nothing to do with taking the rest of the school day off and getting on tv or anything.

When I was there around 10 years ago they used to host something called "sex week" that was educational AND fun (with famous porn start in attendance). It is sad to see Yale become overly PC when the recent past they were much more open minded!

A sign of the times I suppose

Here you go. Her name is Jerelyn Luther.

Her activities are about what you'd expect:

Jerelyn Luther is a rising sophomore at Yale University and is pursuing a BA in possibly history or political science. She has interned in the past for Children's Aid Society of New York City as a marketing intern, and has worked for Creative Concepts LLC as a Research and Social Media coordinator. In college she has been involved with the Yale College Democrats, several different literary publications and especially community service around campus. With a passion for social justice and helping others, Jerelyn looks forward to contributing to the various projects of PresenTense Group.

"PresenTense". These people have an unerring ear for the worst and ugliest cant.

Indeed, it would not be a bad idea for her to be remembered for this bit of boorishness, vulgarity, and mob hysteria.

Ugh, Christakis has decided to take the groveling cuck route:

Yale's Halloween Costume Crisis Escalates on Day 10
STEVE SAILER • NOVEMBER 9, 2015

From the Washington Post:

Quote:Quote:

Hundreds march at Yale in solidarity with minority students

By Isaac Stanley-Becker November 9 at 7:54 PM

NEW HAVEN, CONN. — A crowd of hundreds stopped traffic on city streets surrounding the Yale University campus Monday in a march to show solidarity with minority students who say they are barred from full participation at the Ivy League school. …

The university’s president, Peter Salovey, who last Thursday told minority students in a closed-door meeting that the university had “failed” them, greeted students after the march on Monday. Salovey said he welcomes students’ efforts to improve the university and clarified his view that Yale has failed its minority students.

“What I said on Thursday is if there are students who don’t feel welcome here, we need to accept that as an area where we can do better,” Salovey said in a brief interview. “And we must do better.”

Salovey pledged at the end of last week to unveil a series next steps before Thanksgiving in a university-wide effort to improve the experiences of students of color. He said that might come through “formal committee processes” but also extensive “informal interactions.”

“People really have to feel like they can express themselves, whatever their views are, in an environment that is open to them,” he said.

That question — of the right to free expression — has come into sharp focus in Silliman College, one of Yale’s 12 residential communities, which has been a focus of the racial tensions here. Nicholas Christakis, the Silliman master at the center of a campus debate over speech and sensitivity, spoke with students on Sunday in the living room of his home at the college.

Christakis apologized for his role in a controversy that erupted the day before Halloween when his wife, Erika Christakis, the associate master at Silliman, challenged a campus-wide request that students be sensitive when considering costumes that could be offensive. An early childhood educator, she advised Silliman students either to “look away” or to voice their discomfort, counsel that drew a sharp rebuke from minority students. The pair defended the e-mail on social media last week, suggesting that the uproar was emblematic of “campus censorship culture.”

“I have disappointed you and I’m really sorry,” Nicholas Christakis told about 100 students gathered in his living room on Sunday for a meeting also attended by Jonathan Holloway, the dean of Yale College, and other university administrators. Christakis said his encounter on Thursday with students in the college’s courtyard, in which numerous black women upbraided him for being inattentive to them, broke his heart, according to a voice recording of the conversation provided to The Washington Post.

“I mean it just broke my heart,” Christakis said. “I thought that I had some credibility with you, you know? I care so much about the same issues you care about. I’ve spent my life taking care of these issues of injustice, of poverty, of racism. I have the same beliefs that you do … I’m genuinely sorry, and to have disappointed you. I’ve disappointed myself.”

Hasn’t anybody learned anything from Donald Trump? When you are in the right, never apologize.

Take care of those titties for me.

We are seeing more and more of these orgies of Year Zero public shaming and subsequent apologies by the frightened old guard, retreating before the mob rule of the new guard.

These "students" who are out for blood and have been given permission to act with complete impunity, should henceforth be called:

representatives of the Khmer Rouge

That is what they are. We should stop calling them "students".

Example:

Jerelyn, a representative of the Khmer Rouge, voiced her displeasure.

It's common for students there to be undecided on a major into their second year. Political science, for example, only requires twelve courses, a third of the total for graduation.
I imagine she is now guaranteed As in any courses in imagined grievances or victimology she might take inside or out of those offered by her chosen department.

As soon as that girl starts to yell, notice how quick that other girl in the black tee shirt and pony tail shows up to protect her. That is how feminists have dominated the game. When men stand up, they are on their own.

Here's a link to the mom's Facebook page...You can even post on her company page.

Basically, white mother with a black dad that moved back to Zimbabwe.

Daddy deserted her so it's easy to see why poor Jerelyn is so upset at such a patriarchal white-cisgender symbol of oppression.
