Chick calls me out for pulling away to her touching. Am I weird for doing this?

Chick calls me out for pulling away to her touching. Am I weird for doing this?

I don't really know how to explain this. I was with a group, a chick was next to me. I was playing with her hair and flirting a bit every so often. Then I think she was talking with another mutual friend about touch, and she touched my upper arm(wasn't the first time she touched my arm). Then she was talking about how I pulled away a bit when she did that. I said it was instinct because she was doing it in a sort of a way that was like a "push". I tried to be a bit cocky/gamey about it and laughed at the situation/at her. I pushed her arm with a bit of force, she obviously moved to my hard push, then I was like "See?".

Then she touched the mutual friends arm across the table and he didn't move/flinch. I think she said(or implied? it was difficult to hear in the loud bar) she found it weird how I was cool with touching her hair and stuff but that I would pull away instinctively when she tried to touch my arm.

This really got me thinking. Do you think that maybe other girls in the past have picked up on it and maybe got a distant/avoiding vibe? This really would explain a lot. But if it is legitimate that I would instinctively move away when a girl touches me(I don't know if I do this all the time, or only if a girl "pushes" me), then it does show how interesting I've been acting.

You responded in a logical manner trying to replicate the situation to get her to understand. Women don't respond to logic. It is one of the main reasons why men have such difficult time attracting the opposite sex.

I would have just made up a story about being gay and having a boyfriend with a smile on my face. It would have got her intrigued after calling bullshit on my story.

Next time a girl touches you you can just use the Mystery classic of "get your hands off the merchandise". It's an effortless push away to the girl to get her hamstering.

Women don't pick up on shit unless they really fuck up or more importantly try to fuck with me.

It was just her spouting gibberish. Subconsciously though she felt comfort by her accepting your touch, and because you're well put together you weren't labeled a creep.

On your question near the end. There's two ways of appearing aloof(which is a good thing always try to appear a bit distant).

A. Not even mentioning or being uncomfortable when she touches you period.

or

B. If she's too grabby and it's blatant(usually in defense of her "property" from another woman or wanting to bang right then and there) then I push them away and make them wait for it or just then walk off without a word to express being annoyed(she'll always follow).

This looks like a good situation for the former case though using the latter without losing your composure as if it's natural is good too if it fits your vibe. It's just a minor shit test where she wants to see if you're nervous. Looks like you passed by a margin as you were already messing with her a bit.

Though in general I wouldn't jump back immediately again as that does show nervousness in any other case.
