Gaming in a foreign language: a double edged sword?

Just to add that accent matters:

Indian guy gaming in English won't get as much British/American pussy compared to say French guy gaming American women in English.

Since my mother tongue is Bulgarian, Russian girls dig my "Bulgarian accent" when speaking Russian, but western women don't seem to be into it when I speak English.

I was imitating a russian accent while at physio once and my physio (london chav) told me that it was scary and whenever guys spoke with a russian accent she would get really paranoid that there was a pile of dead bodies near by, but when russian women do that, its sexy. How ironic

I guess you slightly misunderstood my point, though I agree with the rest of your message:

To Russians, Bulgarian accent means: Pronouncing "e" as..."e". The russians pronounce almost always "e" as "Ye", though "r" is the same as in Bulgarian.

You mentioned you're Japanese, right?? In that case it should be peace of cake to master natural Russian accent since you all pronounce "e" and "r" the same way.

However English and French are a totally different story.

In England and overall north-western Europe there's definite "special opinion" against Eastern Europeans. You should never attempt to game western-European women as an Eastern European. That's like Mexican guy hitting on girls from Texas - you get the idea. I am not saying it's impossible, but the question here is "why"? Especially as quality of women in eastern europe is higher.

I’m an Indian guy with a British accent living in Los Angeles, I have got laid a because of it before. Conversely Indian guy speak English with an Indian accent dries out pussies.

Eastern European male accents have a negative "thug" stereotype attached to them. I know a Russian guy who lives in Los Angeles and he believes that his accent has held him back career wise.

I much prefer it and actively seek out French and Spanish speaking women wherever I am, its to the point now where I think my game is actually weakest in English for reasons mentioned above.

Conversely many girls that speak Spanish, Italian and French fluently will appreciate your modest attempts to speak their language with a "cool" american accent. An american dude that speaks and has high level mastery of the language to the point he pronounces things exactly like a local wont get the same reception as the same dude who still makes errors but is understood and sounds "american". The guy who sounds noticeably foreign is more unique and will get extra positive attention in most cases. Girls will open him more and ask him where he is from, help him out with things etc as long as she sees the guy is trying.

Actually if I had low patience/aptitude for language learning and my goal was specifically to game girls I would just focus on the basics of a language and retain as much of an accent as possible.

I've had this debate on here before but I don't think it went anywhere, but I can't wrap my head around the concept of an "American accent" that people have when speaking a foreign language. If you put an American, a Brit and an Aussie together, all speaking the same level of Spanish, wouldn't they all sound similar or would a bilingual Spanish/English speaker be able to tell that the one guy was American and the others not based on their accents?

As far as I've seen, an American (or guy from another country besides Italy) who speaks conversational or fluent Italian, will be very much appreciated by Italian women, maybe more so than a guy speaking the native language of a women from any other country.

The only time I've noticed a disadvantage is when a girl loses a sense of urgency to bang you. I lost out on a bang or two in Jakarta thanks to picking up some Indonesian and local Jakarta slang. In a place like that, where so few foreigners know even a word of the local language, you can be seen as a potential long term mate instead of a SNL. That's my hypothesis based on personal experience.

I recall another recent thread talking about how it's possible to get 'too good' at a foreign language which changes the woman's perception of you.

Aside from that it's always benefitted me. Latin American women, and from what I hear women all over the world, are head over heels for Spain and the Spanish accent. Brazilians in general love America and aren't big fans of Portugal, so a Portuguese speaking America should do pretty well all things being equal.

Much of this goes into playing into a girl's fantasy. Maybe she just saw Midnight in Paris; you, Jean Pierre, are in luck. Perhaps she's into bullfighting, or samba, or has always wanted to visit New York City. If you can diversify your portfolio, so to speak, you're going to click with more women and more importantly a wider variety of women. Language is a huge part of that.

A man who procrastinates in his choosing will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance.

A true friend is the most precious of all possessions and the one we take the least thought about acquiring.

The only way getting too good at a foreign language would hurt you is if the girl has some sort of hustle going and she thinks you won't fall for it / you know the score.

Or if you are in Playa del Carmen.
