Get your stuff back after cutting ties

#1 Never leave your shit at a chick's place.
#2 Tell her (don't ask) you are stopping by to pick up your stuff. If she gives an excuse you push until she agrees on a time. Forget this other "talking" nonsense BS.

Classic clam behavior, holding onto any little piece of you they can.

I'm still trying to get a hoodie and book back from last April! Fortunately nothing valuable.

Wtf is this weird mentality about "eh just forget about the watch, not worth it"?! The guy isn't exactly talking about just a toothbrush and his favorite pair of socks or something. Are people just afraid of a little confrontation?

Go over to her place, in any kind of guise or pretext (might even pretend you're still together and you're just eager to see her) and get the watch. If she kicks you out, call the cops and tell them you'd like your stuff handed back but the girl is refusing to do it. What's the big deal?

If you're worried about some random fake police report, just start a mic recording on your phone before you go over there and keep it in your front pocket to record the whole thing. If she starts really going wild for real whip out the phone completely and start making a video. I think it's possible to record audio and video with separate apps simultaneously so you'll be safe.

I have been through quite a bit of drama, even having the police involved, because of trivial nonsense I could have walked away from.

If you smell trouble in the water, which OP just might, you are better off walking away and saying lesson learned.

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

You've got a ransom scenario on your hands here. Fear not though, as I've seen this before with stage 5 clinger types. Here's what you can do.

1. Sneak approach. Go to her place under the vague guise of "discussing the relationship" and get her to hand you your stuff mid conversation. Once your stuff is in your hand, abruptly leave and continue radio silence.

Use a variation of this, but instead of just running out the door after getting your watch, just continue talking a few more minutes and say you will let her know(about getting back together) and then leave. Then never call her or text her again.
