Yes. Way more than places like DC and NYC, in my experience.
In fact, one study places it as the most segregated major city in the country.

Compared to places like NYC, Vegas, San Fran, and DC, definitely not. The level of interracial dating in Chicago is significantly lower than I have seen in other cities. Keep in mind, this isn't 1950's Alabama or anything. However, you will meet a higher percentage of chicks that don't go outside of their racial/ethnic group here than in the above mentioned cities. It has gotten SIGNIFICANTLY better over the past 20 years though.

Depends on the type of men. For instance, the Latin woman/black man combination is lower here than in other cities I've been to. The Latin woman/white man combination is still pretty good, although even that wasn't as high as I saw in a place like Miami or NYC.

It all depends on what you are looking for. I'm black. I find Chicago to be worse than most of the other cities I have been in for dating non-black women (DC was surprisingly good). At the same time, I have found that the quality of black women and ease of me approaching them here is higher than any other city I've been in (although I hear that Atlanta is great).

There are huge pockets of Eastern European neighborhoods. For example, Chicago has the second largest population of Polish people in the world. It is second only to Warsaw, Poland. Even now, a friend who is a teacher in the public school system has a significant number of students whose parents are Polish immigrants that speak zero English. There is also a large groups of other Eastern European ethnic groups in the city (Lithuanian, Serbian, etc).

Keep something else in mind. All of these things may change depending on who you are and how you game in Chicago. For instance, I almost never do the club thing, except for the indie/alt/occasionally gothic scene a few years ago. Some hardcore Rush Street club goers might have a different opinion.

Also, Chicago is a city that is really a collection of neighborhoods. If you find a neighborhood that fits with what you want, you can have a blast and milk it for all it's worth. For instance, all of my talk about a segregated Chicago goes out the window in a neighborhood like Hyde Park (where the University of Chicago is located). You are almost as likely to see a mixed race couple as a same race couple down there. At the same time, I would be EXTREMELY uncomfortable walking with a white woman in a neighborhood like Bridgeport. It would be asking for trouble.

The neighborhood makeup of Chicago means that you can have a rich and wonderful experience in the city, as long as you know were to go and what that neighborhood is like.

Classic example of what joehoy said is watch the crowd going to a cubs game (north side) vs watch a crowd going to a sox game (southside) cubs game will be about 95% white, where as sox game will be more mixed.

It sounds like Chicago has everything I could ever want in a city but my skin color would prevent me from truly experiencing everything (and everyone) the city has to offer.

College girls are cool but I'm assuming a guy would get sick of hanging around a bunch of kids all the time. Eventually I would want to mingle with the Euro crowd and explore all the neighborhoods for cool things to do.

I guess Minneapolis is the next best thing..

girls here are easy to approach in general. youll rarely find bitch shields, and if you do, theyre easy to combat.

word of advice on a time to visit though. july and early august can be blisteringly hot. i would say come a little bit before labor day since the temperatures will calm down considerably by then.

if you stay in the city, you will not need a car at all. im sure the rest of the chicago guys here would say that as well.

What are the neighborhoods with a high percentage of EE's? As I recall there were a lot of Polish around Bucktown? That was about 10 years ago but I recall eating in a Polish restaurant with FOB hotties working there.

There are definitely big booty black girls and Latinas here. The white girls with big butts here tend to be big all around (i.e. large frame to fat). The non-black chicks with naturally nice big asses are a bit of a rarity. By naturally nice, I am referring to chicks with small to normal waists, but when you look at their ass it is just crazy.

I will say that having been exposed a little to Texas, I was surprised how many big booty white/black/brown girls there were down there. Alright, just got back from 4 nights in Chicago and here are some thoughts and experiences. First, a special thanks to atz350guy for all his helpful information, guidance and direction on the city. Not to mention he is cool as hell to hang out with, and same him almost pull a damn good looking model looking blonde from the club we went to. Almost man, damn friends/boyfriend cockblock!

Some general observances on the girls:

- They have very good looking girls. If you are a face guy, this is a great city to be in. Not sure what is causing this, but the faces I thought as a whole were very good.

- I've never run into so many bitches in a city ever. I'll temper that with saying I met a whole lot of great nice girls, but seriously I've never been rejected so coldly in my life. Comments like "keep moving" and so on - something you don't hear too often. Not that I cared, but it was a bit off-putting. I like nice girls, not bitches. Oddly enough, most of the bitchiness came from 6.5s and lower, whereas the hotter girls were much nicer.

- It's a hookup culture here. I'd see people making out left and right at the venues I was at. I saw many people leave together, so it can happen. I went on a trip with 16 guys, 6 of whom are single and 4 of whom have game/try. All these 4 (myself included) banged on the trip. That said it was one bang in 4 nights for each of us, so it's not easy but doable.

- This is the biggest discrepancy I've seen in terms of attractive girls with unattractive guys since being in Russia. I could not believe some of the guys that were with these girls - we are talking 2-4 points difference in scale. I saw short guys dancing with tall model girls, two of the ugliest dudes I've seen leave with two model looking chicks from a bar they just met, a pasty fat dude making out with a sexy latina girl, etc. Good for them in all honesty, as it seems like the balance here is in favor of the men.

- Good venues: Paris club (models and bottles type); Hub 51 (good place for dinner/eye candy); Mercadito (same); Sunda (seriously good talent eating here, bounced 2 girls from the bar to the club but couldn't close); Public House (good bar atmosphere); Division street (college area, where my ONS came from); Wrigleyville (holy hell, went there after a cubs game when Iowa was in town for football - so many young college white girls); Mercer 113 (great crowd, talked to many hot chicks there, saw a lot of hooking up).

- Hotel: Stayed at the Raffaello, great location and has a rooftop bar though I didn't go there any night. Seemed legit, lots of dresses/heels and bouncers with lists to get in.

I'll leave the more detailed stuff to the actual residents of that area, but just wanted to say outside the bitch factor which took me by surprise, great city. One thing that I will say is I think a more direct/caveman style would work better in this city. The guys I saw succeeding, including myself that night just went for it. The guys seem to be very quiet/unassuming so those that take charge seem to get rewarded.

I spent about a week in Chicago. Most of my time was spent in the yuppie areas populated by recent college grads about 22-28 years old in Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville. I also went to some of the clubs in downtown. A few observations:

1. Big, downtown clubs are garbage. $15 cover for a club that is, for some reason, 50% populated by Indians and Asians. I find that those ethnic groups are poor choices for ONS's. Drinks are like $10 each. Music is too loud for talking and, even if you want to dance, the selection I saw wasn't great. I went on a Friday night and only once, so perhaps you can say I was there on a bad night. I went to "Sound Bar," and another whose name I don't quite recall. Sorry. I get the feeling that people who visit these clubs are generally of the cornball variety. The types of people who don't really have any independent thinking or experience with what they like, so they go to the big-name clubs because that's what they're *supposed* to do.

2. Went to a bar in Wrigleyville called Deuces and the Diamond Club. Basically a big, dark bar that's got a cool aesthetic and is multi-level. I got blown out pretty badly here, not going to lie. Probably worse than any other bar in my life. I did about 6-7 approaches. 3 of the girls didn't even give me more than a smile, and glanced away to tell me to fuck off. The others were mildly receptive but I couldn't really escalate due to social circle bullshit. The prettiest girl I talked to had an ugly friend who violently cockblocked me. As in she put her hands on me and pushed me away. I only approached girls who were between 7-9's. This was my second night in Chicago and I was so dejected after this night that I struggled to recover for the next five days.

3. All bars were skewed towards males in the male/female ratio, but this is the case for probably every bar in America that doesn't explicitly manage it.

4. There is an abundance of beautiful women in Chicago. Walk around in Lincoln Park during the day and you'll be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of attractive girls walking around. If you're into day game, I imagine that this area would be a paradise for you.

5. Saturday night is sheer insanity in Wrigleyville. The most apt way to describe it would be an orgy of energy, alcohol, and drugs. There are bars all along the street, drug dealers, and thousands of young people roving about. It was hard not to get fucked up and, eventually, I got too messed up to game women coherently.

6. I went to the beach, which was pretty great. Again, thousands of people and many pretty girls laying out.

7. Guys in Chicago did not approach women from my observation. I don't think there is a pickup culture around here.

Soundbar and Crescendo and the rest of those clubs on Ontario are straight garbage and attract trashy crowds. IMO there are 3 places that are acceptable clubs in that area. 1) Studio Paris, 2) Underground, 3) Board Room. Any other club in the Chicago is weak and full of a dirty looking crowd.

I find this surprising because I've never been completely blown out by girls in Chicago. Cockblocked, sure. But never without at least getting a girl hooked.

Here's how everything went down while I was hanging out with Slubu.

Friday night:
Met up with him at Hub 51. He was asking me where it would be worth it to spend some money for bottles and I told him Studio Paris was the place to do it. It was really easy to convince his friends, and it was just half a block away from Hub 51. Once inside, it was a free for all. Studio Paris is generally female dominated, and good looking girls at that. A lot of models and celebrities frequent that place, and on the night we were there, so was Coolio.

Slubu and I did a lap around the place and then decided to post up near the bar. While slubu was posted, I found a girl to go to work on and she was really receptive to my approach. Brought her back to the table and she started grinding on me. About an hour later she started to tell me about her boyfriend and a committed relationship, to which I replied with neither of us are causing any trouble so don't worry abut it. And then she kept going. Before I could escalate any further her friends started to pull her away.

Slubu did some work outside the place while taking a smoke break and was able to get in with a couple of good looking girls who happened to be DJ's at the place. Slubu told me about how he got hooked up with free drinks later on in the night after we got separated. My phone was dead, but as I was on my way back to my car, I magically ran into slubu again. Hilarious.

Saturday night:

I met up with slubu at Mercer 113 and helped him get in. Once in, we made a few introductions to some friends I was with and a girl I had banged in the past. After that, we dispersed to do our own thing within the same venue. A fun night all in all. It was nice to catch up with some high school and college friends. Also met some new girls that could turn into future hookups.

Overall, a good time was had. Great to meet you slubu, and look forward to seeing you in LA. Glad you and your buddies had a good time.

benchmark is pretty good. stanley's is also pretty good.

there are some newer places in the area too that are hot right now as well, but the names escape me at the moment.

When I went a few months ago, the Benchmark was really good during the daytime when games were on. Got a bit too crowded at night. Also hit up the Fireplace Inn, which was pretty good as well in Old Town. I really liked the Old Town bars versus the other areas.

Also went to this place called "PUBLIC" which was a hotel and not the "public house" which had a lounge, actually several of them. kind of a weird vibe in there, but it was really upscale...kind of a cougary vibe, i was kind of out of it in there (in jeans and a t-shirt) but thought it might be a good spot if you're suited up.

IMO : NYC with out a doubt has a lot more to offer and I get better responses in NYC. Chicago to me a small version of NYC and is in my driving range and I like to go to chicago but if given the choice I will definitely like to be in NYC.

Also next time you are in Chicago, Do visit Wicker Park, Equivalent to East Village NYC Hipster Central.........

I think you hit it right on the head, Chicago is a mini-NYC. Cleaner, cheaper, slightly less to do. But yeah, if I had to live in one it would be a no-brainer choosing NYC.

Yes, I can vouch for the new Target on state. I have been to the Pret a Manger downstairs and I am surprised how many pretty 20 somethings are doing their grocery shopping during the lunch time.

Another day game spot, Roof at the Wit on Sundays, their brunch menu is pretty decent. I have been there a couple of times this year but its been with female company and I've never had a chance to actively game at this venue.

Lastly, for you senior players who are not too crazy about the club scene & work better in a low energy environment, I would highly highly recommend the Drumbar on Delaware. The 2 times I have been there I could swear I spotted atleast a dozen women who looked like they stepped out of a cover of magazine. Suited up is the ONLY way to go.

A lot of these spots are going to slow down when summer ends. Unfortunately for me, I have been travelling a hell lot and not been able to enjoy the summer. hope this helps.
