Yes, I can vouch for the new Target on state. I have been to the Pret a Manger downstairs and I am surprised how many pretty 20 somethings are doing their grocery shopping during the lunch time.

Another day game spot, Roof at the Wit on Sundays, their brunch menu is pretty decent. I have been there a couple of times this year but its been with female company and I've never had a chance to actively game at this venue.

Lastly, for you senior players who are not too crazy about the club scene & work better in a low energy environment, I would highly highly recommend the Drumbar on Delaware. The 2 times I have been there I could swear I spotted atleast a dozen women who looked like they stepped out of a cover of magazine. Suited up is the ONLY way to go.

A lot of these spots are going to slow down when summer ends. Unfortunately for me, I have been travelling a hell lot and not been able to enjoy the summer. hope this helps.

Yea, the rooftop bars are gone once winter hits. I was at the target this evening around 6 and it was still buzzing with talent. Young 20 somethings shopping for college stuff. I was constrained because I was with family but I'm going to be a regular visitor for sure. I swear I could have done at least 20 approaches within a couple of hours.Fuck.

Man you're making me nostalgic for the Chi. It's my hometown as well, but I am on a hiatus right now (in grad school at a big 10 school in Michigan, guess which one lol). At least the college town I'm in is not hurting for eye candy and fun times in the least bit either, but it's also very different from the "city" especially once you're at an older age and well out of the undergrad scene.

I am not too surprised that slubu & Deif ran into some cold, heartless bitches in the Chi. I have always advised folks never to expect the stereotype of Midwestern hospitality in Chi-Town unless they're simply asking for directions in the Loop or something. There are a LOT of attractive girls in the city, but certainly the pickup game brings up certain challenges. My friend from NY did comment that girls are overall nicer still in Chicago compared to NY, but he does spend almost all of his time in Manhattan and not in the more down to earth outer boroughs of New York.

Likewise with Chicago, yours odds might get better if you are able to venture out to other parts of the city. I'd add the Bucktown / Wicker Park neighborhood to the list of neighborhoods to hit up. Like NY, a lot of the true Chicagoans (and even many transplants) live in the surrounding neighborhoods & not necessarily by the city core (Loop).

350 is the real deal. I haven't met the dude in real life, but he knows the do's & don'ts of the Chicago nightlife scene for sure.

I went on a trip with 16 guys, 6 of whom are single and 4 of whom have game/try. All these 4 (myself included) banged on the trip. That said it was one bang in 4 nights for each of us, so it's not easy but doable.

- This is the biggest discrepancy I've seen in terms of attractive girls with unattractive guys since being in Russia. I could not believe some of the guys that were with these girls - we are talking 2-4 points difference in scale. I saw short guys dancing with tall model girls, two of the ugliest dudes I've seen leave with two model looking chicks from a bar they just met, a pasty fat dude making out with a sexy latina girl, etc. Good for them in all honesty, as it seems like the balance here is in favor of the men.

- Good venues: Paris club (models and bottles type); Hub 51 (good place for dinner/eye candy); Mercadito (same); Sunda (seriously good talent eating here, bounced 2 girls from the bar to the club but couldn't close); Public House (good bar atmosphere); Division street (college area, where my ONS came from); Wrigleyville (holy hell, went there after a cubs game when Iowa was in town for football - so many young college white girls); Mercer 113 (great crowd, talked to many hot chicks there, saw a lot of hooking up).

- Hotel: Stayed at the Raffaello, great location and has a rooftop bar though I didn't go there any night. Seemed legit, lots of dresses/heels and bouncers with lists to get in.

I'll leave the more detailed stuff to the actual residents of that area, but just wanted to say outside the bitch factor which took me by surprise, great city. One thing that I will say is I think a more direct/caveman style would work better in this city. The guys I saw succeeding, including myself that night just went for it. The guys seem to be very quiet/unassuming so those that take charge seem to get rewarded.

Old town fest has been called booze fest. Its near Rush and not far from downtown so you can easily move to hotel / pad. Its an older crowd. 30-45. Bitch shields are somewhat up but I was able to pick up a ONS take her back to her place in south loop, during the afternoon. Took care of business and was back looking for another one by 9pm that night.
Lincoln square has a very down to earth crowd you can easily swoop.
Randolph street has hot women but bitch shields are in full effect. Comes with the area
Wicker park is the hippie aka weed fest.
Divison street fest can also be called douchebag fest

Many of the fest are TBA in terms of dates.

If I had $$$ I would do Paris during lolla or pitchfork. TONS of visitors in the big city looking to party. You could easily get a table by the window and hand pick girls as they walk by or stand in line trying to get in. My friend tried doing a birthday party at paris and I think its 250-300 per bottle not including tip. Can bring 6-8 people I think but dont hold me to that info.

Otherwise a Saturday night is fine.

Hahah, that's friggin crazy when u think about it right? U would never think that there's a recession or that you're in the Midwest when people are readily dropping a thousand bucks a table at Chicago's Paris Club. Kinda doubt the market would sustain this type of activity in Detroit, for example.

Don't think there is any comparison to be honest. Underground is a nice spot, but everything that isn't Paris is a tier below. Studio Paris without fail always gets the creme de la creme and the pickings are really easy there.
