My ex-girlfriend used to cheat on me with a guy I went to school with (we all went to the same high school). She would spend time with him and then come over to my house and have dinner with my family.

Man some stories here are painful to read. My only story is that my first GF in university got an abortion after getting pregnant by me - and I think had having an emotional affair with another guy after our relationship became long distance. I really wanted to have a kid, but by that point I'd made so many displays of low value in hindsight I can't blame her too much. At least she told me.

I put a lot of misplaced trust in girls over the years only to have it bite me in the ass. I'd like to take the easy way out and blame them; we all would. Truth be told you will learn and solve nothing in your life unless you internalize these pitfalls. The times I've gotten burned coupled with the resolve to re-focus myself on whats important in life, the support of good friends, and lastly discovering this community and the advice and philosophies therein have certainly helped me transcend.

There is always going to be something dragging you down because life is never perfect. There will always been things to work on - the maintenance of your life is never ending but keeps things interesting.

For me personally, even though I believe that finding the manosphere has helped me overcome a lot of the issues I had with dealing with women and what went wrong in past relationships - I also feel like I have created new problems and formed new negative habits based off of it.

TLDR Version:

-Girl practically begs to be with me when things are awesome. I basically make her life 5x better than it was.
- After dating a few years, I nearly die due to a hospital mishap and have a lot of things go wrong medically.
-I get much needed surgery, she kicks me out of the apartment we were living in and breaks up with me. The way she broke up with me was awful though, I was barely out of surgery a few days and still recovering, barely awake, on painkillers and not really able to leave bed. She broke up with me and walked out my bedroom knowing I couldn't go after her.
-My dad and I end up going to move my shit out of the apartment weeks later and he told me afterwards in our native language "that woman is an ice queen" basically saying she had no heart.
-Ends up fucking a few guys I despised. Gets my credit shit on for a bit, makes it so i have to drop out of school and completely change my life around.

I also could complain about my sister. She did some pretty shitty things but really it just alerted me to the nature of women at a young age. Things like 'hey I'm going to get some food, give me some money and I will get you some too" and then she takes the money from me and then doesn't get any food for me, and blamed me for stealing from her when I didn't and even told our parents I was stealing from her when I wasn't.

We were both in our late teens and early 20s at this point. She never cockblocked me, at least.

The reality is that this is not so serious.

^ Fucked up. I guess if we, as men, can always remember that according to woman (I'm speaking of womankind here) it's NEVER HER FAULT. NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOES; murder, cheating, stealing, lying etc. There's something that made her do it . And it's that something's fault, not hers.

If we can realize that universal truth and always be prepared for it, then we can be on our toes and better prepared for the shit storm some women can try to put us through. By the way, you'll probably be labeled a bastard, asshole or at the least 'creepy' if you call her on it.

I've been dumped numerous times. The worst time was on vacation in Germany when I had a fight with her and she wanted to leave me behind 400 km from home (her car, so she thought she could torment me by leaving me behind) Didn't happen eventually. But as soon as we where home we said goodbye forever. Strange way to end a relationship.

I've been probably cheated on as well. But I can't confirm that. What woman would tell you the truth right.
