Yes, I'm planing a tour of the country. Just gotta buy a motorbike first and go through some legal hurdles. Do you recommend Mamaia or anywhere else in particular?

Try Mamaia, Costinești and Vama Veche at the Black Sea coast during July and August. They are all different but you will figure out which one suits you. There is no point touring the country during these months unless you just want to sightsee. The students are all gone and even the medium size cities feel deserted. Stick to Bucharest and the Black Sea during the summer if you want action and go to the other towns starting late september if you want something different.

Great thread on Romania, its one place i would like to venture too, but have not yet visited, ...I recently returned from a quick trip to Budapest/Kiev/Warsaw and it is a generalization, but big cities are big cities, and you usually find the same Goldiggers/Bitches/Bad attitudes in big cities ..are you thinking are going to secondary cities like Brasov, Iasi, Cluj Napoca during this trip ? ....

I'm starting to solve the mystery that is Bucharest girls. Two new notches now the last 3 days.

One thing I have learned, don't show your sexual intentions with Romanian girls. Even if you know they want it, don't be direct about it. Especially over text. They will get very defensive. Of course, this is my personal experience. I'm curious to hear other's opinions.

Also, I think I have lost a notch or two by pushing to get them home on the first date. All the girls I have dated have been very into me and didn't wanna stop kissing, but they can be strict about not coming home on the first date. No, inviting them for wine or to look at your travel photos doesn't do the trick. The thing is that these chicks could have been easy 2nd date bangs, but instead they have gone cold and defensive.

One girl i met at a highend club last weekend. A cute 20yo, very pleasant and easy going, almost like Asian girls. I escalated with no resistance in the club, but her boring friends wanted to leave. If you're with a girl in Bucharest and her friends want to leave, good luck making her stay with you.

We kept texting and met up after James and I came back from Bulgaria. Took her to my usual date venue for a bottle of wine ($13) and walked towards my place. I said I live nearby, she said we are definitely not going to my place and something about her pussy itching (WTF?), but when we came there she went up, no resistance after this. I really like this girl.

Next girl, met her around 4 AM in Kulturhaus (student club with cheap shots and sticky floors). A bit older than the usual crowd, said it was her first time there and she didn't like it. We had a good chat going but not much escalation. She said she had to leave and asked for my number.

We met up the next day for the usual wine bottle and then we went to a club. She didn't drink much and we didn't get too dirty, but had a good time. She went home 2 am, having learned from previous dates I didn't push for the bang that night.

Then yesterday she pretty much invited herself over for movie and ice cream. She obviously came to get laid but needed some time to get comfortable so I just took it nice and slow. It's exam season, which haven't made things easier. The girls who finished their studies have been easier to deal with as they are less busy.

I have to leave Romania soon but next time I would definitely like to check out other cities. If I stay in Romania I will probably do the seaside such as Constanta or Mamaia in July/August and then check out Cluj or another student city when university starts. I tried changing my Tinder location to Cluj and got very good response.

Many people said girls are friendlier and just as hot in some of the smaller cities in Romania. But personally I like big cities and the endless opportunies they have.

Nope, I'm Danish. But I moved to Sofia two years ago, chosen primarily for the low prices (I have to stay in the EU for the time being, otherwise I might have looked at Asia for more than vacations) but I very quickly came to appreciate the beautiful nature as well. A mountain in walking distance from my apartment has been great.

I'm past the years where I still enjoyed regular nights or even just regular weekends at clubs or bars, so I've mostly been doing the whole dating thing here (online, dabbling a bit in daygame but still not nearly as much as I ought to). A completely new experience for me when I got here (and still one that feels like a hell of a lot of hard work much of the time), as ONS with drunk girls was how I met the vast majority of the girls I slept with - and short term relationships with - back in Denmark.

It depends on your taste. But to sum up, Scandinavia is better for easy ONS (but only in weekends, except festivals and other events in summer) but EE can't be touched when it comes to potential quality you can pull. Personally I can't recommend Scandinavia as a destination for living and gaming unless you make money there, but each to their own. To me Scandi chicks are plain, in other members' view they are exotic.

I had no (conscious) game until my mid 30s a few years ago. Being a nice but self interested and fairly anti-social guy in pretty good shape and a whiff of bad boy look, and relying entirely on very obvious IOIs before I made approaches, got me laid on a then acceptably regular basis in Denmark. And I spent the first 25 years of my life living in a town with fewer than 50,000 people.

But it did get increasingly difficult in my late 20s when I started losing interest in going out at night and often had to force myself to go to a bar on Saturdays.

Just got into Bucharest last night.

It might seem ridiculous to make this statement after being here less than 24 hours, but I would also say it's much better than Sofia.

First impressions:

-The quantity of hot girls. There are quite a few stunning girls in Sofia, but in Bucharest there's much more and the girls have better bodies. I've lost count how many jiggling bubblebutts I've seen walking around.

-Many more options. There is nothing like Old Town in Sofia, even if it is touristy.

-Girls in groups with no guys. In Sofia it's somewhat rare to see girls in groups of 2 or 3 with zero guys in the group. When I did see this they were usually older and washed up or defective. Within 5 minutes of walking through old town in Bucharest I already saw many tables of 2,3,4 girls sitting with each other and no guys. I approached one asap and got blown out, they were pleasant enough though.

-Eye contact is still the same. Like Sofia, I'm getting plenty of eye contact but seems like that doesn't necessarily mean much. The only, and I mean ONLY thing that I like in the U.S. is when I get eye contact back home, it's a pretty sure bet that my approach will succeed. I'm loathe to even mention the U.S. as having any sort of advantage though when the quantity and quality of girls is through the roof here.

I would have been better off spending 3 days in Sofia and coming straight here.
