English level is among the best I have encountered in EE, but I'm not quite as impressed as James. Many can write, read and understand but are not used to speaking because of the low amount of foreigners and it's not uncommon to have never left Romania. One girl I dated said she hadn't spoken English in a year, but she was still ok after getting warmed up.

I'm getting a few "No English" rejections when cold approaching on the street (or they try to respond but struggle), especially from the young girls who recently moved to Bucharest. I don't think you would experience that much in Norway, since they like to demonstrate how good their English is.

Last night I approched an 8 in a bar in the old town. She was quite open but didn't understand much English. When I threw out some random Spanish phrases I know, the interaction improved and I got some laughs and giggles, but it died out as I was quickly running out of silly phrases and she was with some orbiters who bought her shots. The next girl I talked to was a 9, with similar result. Got a little conversation going, but her English sucked.

James and Pornopung how old are you guys, to get a frame of reference. I found Tinder to be really bad for me last November in Bucharest. In Warsaw it is better.
But when it comes to day game, I found Bucharest to be one of the best places on earth. Old City or outside of a Mcdonalds, for example. And especially now in May, it must be a day gamers paradise. Though not in the winter.
Girls are friendly,in shape, curious and their english levels fit our needs very nicely.
As an over 35 man, I found it easier to chase younger girls in Bucharest than in Poland. But nowhere near how it is in Ukraine.

Women will agree to dates and give their details but provide only vague references to when that date will occur. If you propose an exact time they will say idk or maybe, we'll see.

So far I think Romanian women are much better at running game than me and they seem to know exactly what to do to single out the long term prospects for potential relationships...[/quote]

Sounds uncannily like my Bulgarian dating life. Most girls are generally pleasant company on the dates - and rarely flake once the date has finally been set - but it frequently feels like a bit too much of an uphill battle to get anything finalized.
And even after a good first date, setting up the second or third can still feel like pulling teeth.
Every few months I burn out on dating and need some weeks off.

I miss Thailand where I would chat to a girl for ten minutes and then she wanted to meet the same night after work. Second date the next day (and the lay then or the night before) and then if we started hooking up a girl working 60 hours a week would take the time to see me every night.

Here in Bulgaria it rarely takes me less than three weeks to get through the first three dates with a girl (ages ~24 to 36). And those are the ones I get far enough with to bang.
Maybe I should try presenting myself as a tourist or on a short term stay some time, just as an experiment to see how much quicker a girl can manage to clear up her apparently tremendously busy schedule.

In what cities, I've mentioned above, girls are more likely to say "F off" if they reject a guy ?
Norway IMO.

I suppose girls in Sweden have the same mentality as girls in Norway (but I'm not sure). Why didn't you mention Sweden together with Norway ?

As Norwegians guys can you say that Sweden, Poland, Latvia, Estonia are better than Norway in terms of girls and life generally - emotional satisfaction (I'm not asking about prices) ? The most curious comparison is between Norway and Sweden.
Everywhere is better than Norway for life in general and emotional satisfaction. I've never come across a more dull, brainwashed lifeless society than what is modern day Norway. (I haven't been to France though which is the only place I think may compare) I'd rather live in Kazhaktsan even.

Isn't Sweden has the same socialist system (like you said a dull, brainwashed lifeless society) as Norway has ?
Why did you mention Kazakhstan, you've been there ? I'm not sure that life in Kazakhstan have more fun than in Norway.

Hey guys, glad to see you're having a good time in Bucharest. It's really interesting to see how fast you're getting the hang of things around here. Here's a few tips and insights:
> Yes, girls are good at running game. Remember that the most important thing for them is social status. Romania doesn't have a big ONS culture(they're actually very rare) and when it comes to relationships, it's usually a game of tying down the hottest guy with an interesting lifestyle.
> Nightclub game is insanely hard because of a mix of bad ratios, mixed groups, high bitch shields and loud music. You can get laid from it but its gonna be a lot of work and don't expect the highest quality either.
> Online game is non-existent, Tinder is still new but the root of the problem is that it's still considered a bit 'taboo'. Before apps like Tinder became mainstream, there were very few people that used the internet to find relationships, and they were almost always unattractive. "Internet game" was like the last resort for the unattractive and desperate.
> Le Gaga/Bamboo/Player/Fratelli/Princess/One/Gaia, these are the highend places. They're strictly bottle service clubs and they're absolute shit for game, do not recommend.
> Install and use Uber right now. Taxis in Romania are run by gypsies that will try to screw you over, they're dirty and always try to overcharge. Uber has the same price per km(1.39) but has very strict rules on drivers. I've been using it ever since it started in Romania(a few months ago) and its a game changer.
> You want to spend your time in Center, North, West and North-West of the City. Stay away from the South/South-W(Ferentari, Rahova) and Far East(Pantelimon).
This is a heat map that’s based on data from people on where they feel the most in danger(red) and where they feel the safest(green). The heatmap results correlate well with the actual crime levels of the areas. You’re not gonna get killed if you go in the red areas, it’s just better to avoid it. If you stick to the green areas you might as well be in Switzerland safety-wise. There isn’t any shit to do in the red areas anyway, it’s just where the gypsies conglomerate.

I'm actually in the process of writing a big-ass data sheet on Bucharest, but I'm taking my time on it, i want it to be good. If you guys wanna hang out hit me up, I'm pretty busy this week but the weekend should be cool. Oh, and my biggest tip:

> Do daygame. Besides the obvious places like malls and parks, you can use this filter on gmaps to find all the universities in Bucharest
https://www.google.ro/maps/search/Buchar...933501,14z
You can see that some of them are clustered, you'll find hordes of college girls around those spots - and again it correlates with the heat map, there's no universities in the red areas of the city.

To the person who asked me about Sweden. Every horrible thing I say about Norway can also be applied to Sweden. If someone absolutely wants to live in Scandinavia, Denmark is by far the best as Danes are the friendliest people and enjoy lowest cost of living.

Flowers and alcohol are cheaper in Denmark compared to Sweden. And maybe illegal drugs too. For the rest it is cheaper in Sweden.

Besides, Danish girls dress like shit.

Thanks for the info, Don. Looking forward to hang out.

Last night I went to one of the usual bars in the old town, and made some approaches. I spotted a hot, tall, blonde girl with high heels.

I approached her, and she was friendly. I'm 6'5 so for obvious reasons I do well with tall girls. She was from Moldova, and studied here. She was out with her two Romanian girlfriends. We had a good tone and started getting a little physical, she liked me. She said they were going to another club and asked if I wanted to come. I thought why the hell not.

We took a taxi and went to The Player. It's a big highend summer club, and Wednesday is a big night there. I must say I have never seen this amount of super hot babes in one place before. But also a lot of dudes with cash and model looks.

Julia from Moldova quickly forgot me when she ran into a friend of hers with a VIP table full of champagne and Grey Goose. So I ended up wandering around solo, and as Don say it's useless for game unless you wanna spend heaps of cash and chase golddiggers. The few approachable girls were low quality.

The club has a nice pool area open in daytime every day, 40-50 RON entrance. I'm not sure how good it is for gaming but seems like a decent place to spend a Saturday afternoon sipping a cocktail and watch hotties in g-strings. Have you been there in daytime, Don?

I haven't been to the pool there before but it should be fine. Although think about the price of the cover for a second: 50lei, that might sound insignificant, but for your average college girl it's a lot. 1/3rd of Romanians work for the minimum wage which is 1000lei. So that cover is 5% of the monthly income of your average 18-24 year old girl - assuming they work. So I reckon the girls we'll find there will be split between: high maintenance gold diggerish sluts, girls with rich daddies, some hired guns and some cougars, so keeping this demo in mind i think it should be fun.

P.S damn you're tall..god damn Viking genetics [Image: biggrin.gif]

I went to Bamboo and Bellagio a couple years ago and had a good time. I didn't get a table though.

How much does a low-end bottle go for at one of those places nowadays?

It's still really cheap by Western standards, on Thursdays a 0.7L bottle of Absolut, Ballentine's or Jameson's + 1L juice is only 45€. Friday and in the weekend it's slightly more expensive, 67€ for the same deal. A .75L bottle of Moet is 135€.

The issue there is that a low-end bottle of liquor is not going to gain any 'wow' or even attention from girls if the table next to you is popping bottles of Dom. If you go to places such as Bamboo, I suggest you either go big or go someplace else. There are plenty of other places where a €100 table goes a much longer way.

I've been following this thread with interest as am planning on dropping into Bucharest for a few days in June.

As I wrote about here I am a fan of bottle service and getting a table in upscale venues, particularly if you are 3-4 guys and it's the right kind of venue. But I appreciate it's not for everyone and would only go in for it if the whole crew are happy to also.

I am interested to scope out what the higher end places are like as those prices sound pretty cheap for a bottle. However I'm not sure how that compares to an average price of a beer or a long drink, and again I'm used to paying Singapore prices also.

Anyway, keep the chat coming on this thread and Don looking forward to your datasheet when it arrives

Hey Irish,
I was in Bucharest last weekend. We went to BOA (Beats of Angles) Club. I reserved our table one week in advance. To get a table you need to buy at least one bottle. To make it into the VIP area your min spend per table needs to be €500.
We got a bottle of Jameson for about €60. Heinekens were pretty cheap as far as I remember around €3.

As mentioned quite often here clubbing in Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania is really tricky because there are no dancefloors, and girls are partying in huge mixed groups on their own tables. As mentioned above Romanian girls in these clubs are very worried about their reputation so it is really not easy,
Having said that BOA club has a big bar in front of the stage. I found it much easier to approach girls there.

My favourite club in Bucharest is called Kulturhaus. It is a huge alternative club close to the old town. You will not find 9s and 10s there but there is a good chance to meet a nice young 7 or 8 student girl.

Hey James and Pornopung

I just read through the thread - sounds like you guys are having an awesome time in Bucharest. Great stuff!

I will be in Bucharest second half of August. Would be good to hang out if you're still around then.

Where are you guys staying, which part of the city? Hotel or AirBnB?? What would you recommend in terms of area?

cheers

James and Pornopung,

Have you faced (or at least heard) such a bad type of girls in Bucharest, who are going to witches (hexes) in order to use black magic, if they were denied by a guy, or they simply liked a guy ? I know it is not so common in the Western Europe, but in Eastern Europe - Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, and especially in Romania medieval remnants (black magic) are very strong.

Maybe some Romanian guys could tell something on this issue ? What are consequences (aftermath) of such actions of bad girls ?

I heard you will not be able to have sex for 7 years if a girl hexes you. Better be careful!
