I just watched Season 5 Ep 5...and I was bored shitless.

Sure, there was some nudity...which was as boring as fuck, but the story is so slow...glacial...soooo sloooww

It's a shame this show has become like this

The books that inspired season 5, Feast for Crows and Dance of Dragons, are snoozefests themselves. Not a lot to work with.

Don't debate me.

They've changed almost all the plot lines from the books this season.

If you are going to impose your will on the world, you must have control over what you believe.

No respect - they overblew the whole shieldmaiden crap - those women were mainly used in defensive wars. Here the Vikings Historychannel feminist propaganda used faulty burial data to recreate history making women into fantastic warriors who fought better than British professional soldiers. Oh - and they even brought pregnant women like that chick.

I am disgusted by that feminist Viking series. If there is a next season they will likely show women fighting one against 10 puny males.

They did this in the first episode, like in the first 15 minutes, The men went off to some war confrence or something and left the women there all alone, then some bandits came to try to rape the woman (wife of the main character guy I guess) and she beat them up and made them run away, it was three dudes against one chick. I promptly turned that show off and went about my day after that.

First of all, they would be sentries in their little village outposts and NOT ALL of the men would leave the village during a confrence, it was NOT war just a meeting, so basically only the leaders of the tribe would need to go, so bandits wouldn't even have a chance to enter the village anyway, like the writers didn't even TRY to sneak grrrl power in, they just went the lazy writing route and assumed the guys watching the show are too stupid to notice. so yeah , fuck that show. If you want to see a good show with red pill values sneakily put into it, watch black mirror.

Yeah, the girl power bullshit does spoil it.

I don't think Katheryn Winnick was the right choice to play Lagertha (Ragnar's wife). No cred and can't act.

Might have been better if Gwendoline Christie (Brienne from Game of Thrones) played Lagertha. She seems to do a better job of being a warrior chic.

I've also felt it was a bit slow this season...jeez, by this point last year, we had a half-dozen characters dead!
