This year I decided to give up fapping for Lent. This was a decision made after some prior experimentation with the practice.
During the fast I experienced the usual changes - increased energy, more aggression, more sexuality etc.
However, I wasn't sure what these changes were attributed to. Standard theory is that test. should be responsible but I didn't know if there were other contributing factors, such as altered DeltaFosB levels or if it was just a placebo effect from giving up the porn.
So I decided to get a couple of before/after blood tests done to measure my levels. Today I got the results:
4 days before my nofap ended I measured at 36.4nmol/l
1 week later and after busting a few nuts I measured at 27.3nmol/l
That didn't seem right. I'm not sure why - maybe it was because of the prolonged abstinence or maybe because of my lack of familiarity with the biology but it seemed like there should have been a larger gap.
After doing some research, I found that the average male level here in the UK is approximately 23.5nmol/l.
So apparently I'm above average even on low test. days which seems strange considering my previous lethargy when I was going at it daily.
I'd like some clarification/relativity. Are these figures indicative of normal test. levels in this scenario?
