The First Multiracial Miss Universe Japan Has Been Crowned

^ I understand that. I just find that these women are usually not indicative of the true beauty of their respective nations. Whenever I look at models, paegant stars, movie stars and other women, I think they're generic looking. There is a certain Je nais se quoi that they're missing. I don't mean to sound like some stuck up hater (i would bang all of them), but they tend to not be that pretty. It's almost like they pick a girl who isn't super hot so that the women judges don't feel bad.

It is funny how it's always an uproar when a black or mixed-black woman wins in places like Israel, Italy, Sweden, Japan.

But when white women win in Africa, nobody talks about the "demographic/cultural suicide" of the African people. [Image: dodgy.gif]

It may not have bee miss universe but it was miss something.

I remember because I saw a dumb kerfuffle over it on twitter.

Miss England 2005 was a Muslim woman of Tajik Afghan background (Hammasa Kohistani):

Here’s another one from a couple of years ago (2010), Jacinta Lal (Indian dad, white mum). She entered a beauty contest and people felt she didn’t look Indian enough:

Row over blonde-haired, blue-eyed Miss India beauty contestant ... who 'doesn't look Indian enough'

Quote:Quote:

Her stunning looks won her a coveted title in New Zealand's Miss India contest.

But Jacinta Lal, 21, was today at the centre of a huge row after she was accused of not looking Indian enough.

The blue-eyed blonde, whose father is Fijian-Indian and mother a New Zealander, was booed by spectators when she won the Wellington leg of the MissIndiaNZ contest.

Organisers later confirmed that there had been 'two or three' complaints about Miss Lal's eligibility.

The row comes just days after the Indian government protested to New Zealand about alleged racial slurs by TV host Paul Henry.

Miss Lal told the New Zealand Herald she had heard people say that she was not 'Indian-looking enough to win the pageant'.

'But despite those small-minded people that made those comments, there were many Indians who encouraged me to enter.

'So just because some narrow-minded people make a comment like that we can't assume that all Indians think the same way.

'There is no difference between what Paul Henry is saying and what those select few Indians were saying. They are all wrong and should not say things like that...'

Organiser Dharmesh Parikh said that he had also had complaints when Miss Lal took part in the MissIndiaNZ finals in Auckland in August and became one of two runners-up.

'People said: "Oh my God look at this blonde girl coming to Miss IndiaNZ, what is she doing here?," he said.

'Whoever these people are, they are a very small part of it.

'This event is called Miss IndiaNZ, with an N-Z, and I strongly emphasise that this event is not an Indian event, it is a Kiwi-Indian event, so you must have New Zealand residency, New Zealand citizenship and you must have some sort of Indian background.'

'It is a little bit sad, but it is unfortunate for Jacinta as well because she should be accepted into this Indian world as well because she is a beautiful Indian girl.'

WYB? I would for the half Indian notch, but I don't consider her hot enough to enter an international beauty contest.

No. Is she above average for NZ? I guess she is, judging from what I've read on RVF about NZ/Aus women - am I right? They have a very negative reputation on RVF.

I've discussed this topic on RVF before, but the idea of a media-enforced Eurocentric notion of beauty is ridiculous, just another way to shame guys for preferring white girls, for white girls to humblebrag, and for making unattractive non-white girls feel better about themselves.

Just like the idea of a media-enforced notion of thinness is another way to shame guys for preferring thin girls, for thin girls to humblebrag, and for making non-thin girls feel better about themselves.

Women of all population backgrounds are on average lighter-skinned, and have proportionally larger eyes, reduced brow-ridges, higher eyebrows, smaller noses (both height and width), reduced jaw robusticity, and smaller chins than their male counterparts.

These are all signs of neoteny/youth--this is why your mental image of a baby and/or a small child is relatively light-skinned, large-eyed with light and high-positioned eyebrows, small-nosed, weak-jawed, and small-chinned.

Each of the above characteristics occur with greatest frequency and degree in whites or East Asians, so it's no surprise that women of these population backgrounds are most popular amongst men of all population backgrounds.

When white girls are getting nose-jobs to reduce the height of their schnozes or getting their eyebrows threaded (to reduce the perceived robusticity of their brow ridges, and increase perceived eyebrow height) no one shrieks that they're captive to an East-Asian-centric notion of beauty, do they?

But that's effectively what they're doing: Shifting some aspects of the appearance of their facial morphology toward that of East Asians.

However, when East Asian girls get nose-widths reduced and/or eyes-largened, all of a sudden European-Centric Notions of Beauty Are a Problem And This Is Why.

I have a problem with the label of "Miss Japan". As Miss Japan I'd say no. Miss Japan should be as pure bred Japanese as possible. Japan is not a melting pot like America is known for. The label of "Miss Universe" is a whole other thing. In a Miss Universe competition I'd say anything goes. Multiracial, multicultural, multi-whatever. Just be the ultimate piece of ass. One male judge from each country should vote and say [Image: idhitit.gif] [Image: lol.gif]

I haven't been there either but met a couple of Kiwi girls traveling recently, they were very average but cool to hang out with anyway, apparently this is top tier Kiwi: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-45846.html

I see what you're saying, but come on dude, you can't deny that Western culture has had an effect on people. If there was no such thing as white people, I seriously doubt Asians would be trying to get their eyes widened. And I doubt black women would be straightening their hair. Blacks certainly weren't thinking about straightening their high prior to colonization and slavery. Someone like Michael Jackson was the ultimate end-game of racial self-hate taken to the extreme.

I don't think it's a problem that mr. Japan looks black, but I think that every country who enters a chick into the miss universe should go for a pure blood chick. That means no white Africans (sorry south Africa) and no Black Japanese chicks. Make it fair for everyone. I don't think Miss Japan is the hottest Japanese chick out there, but I would hit it. I already said it, but I find these beauty pagaents to be pretty lame as far as talent goes, they're pretty but they don't do their respective countries justice. You know shit is fucked up when Miss Japan is black and Miss Namibia is a white girl.

What I'm getting at is that these countries need to stop trying to ape the white man and just enter chicks that truly represent that countries unique look.

Maybe the issue is that she doesn't (in my opinion) even look mixed. She just looks like a cute light-skinned black girl you might see in the US anywhere. Seriously those black genes annihilated her mom's genes. If other people are seeing that, I could understand why they think she doesn't really represent the nation of Japan. Would you see the same reaction if a lily-white mixed girl with blonde hair was sent to represent Nigeria? In a homogeneous culture, I can certainly empathize with the need to see "one of us" represent your country as a standard of beauty. We just don't have homogeneity in the west anymore, so we assume it's a viewpoint stemming 100% from racism.

Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.

She looks more Asian in the video, and a little bit hotter too.

I think she's hot as fuck. But I'm not really into the look that most Asian dudes are into(super skinny, super pale).

Btw, I do agree that the media/culture affects what men find attractive to a degree and its important as a red pill man to uncouple from that and listen to our boners instead. Why else would IRT be obsessed with white girls? My own tastes change a lot as well depending on the type of girls I sleep with and even the season. I know in summer I have a strong preference for a better body, while in the winter, I prefer prettier faces.

Light-skinned black girls in America themselves are mixed. Miss Japan's African genes are just as annihilated as the Japanese. Does she look anything like an unmixed African woman? If you're comparing her to pure Japanese people, then you also have to juxtapose her against pure African people, such as an Alek Wek.

She no longer looks Japanese, but she damn sure no longer looks African either.

^^^She defintely looks way more African than Japanese though.

People often think of all Africans looking like Alek Wek but I've been to Africa and the truth is you could put many Africans and Afro-carribeans/African Americans, etc. side by and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference until they started talking.

What's more interesting to me is WHY different ethnic groups have the features they have. I mean: what adaptations of environment, over thousands of years, produced the results we see today? The only reason people look differently is because of climate, geography, and the processes of natural selection over thousands of years.

Yeah, not all black people in the Americas are mixed. But still, compare a dude like John Legend to Akon. You can see there's been a lot of mixture in many black Americans. The logic goes, that since Halle Berry is considered "black" and this Miss J kinda looks similar to Halle Berry in phenotype, then Miss J looks way more "black". Of course forgetting that Halle Berry is likely more than 50% Caucasian.

I don't think Miss J looks more African than Japanese. I think she looks like just what she is, someone who is half way between. Her nose is narrower than the typical African nose, she's light brown rather than dark chocolate, she has straight(or maybe wavy) hair, not kinky afro, her eyes are a bit slanted which is clearly Asian genes.

Everyone who has even a little black is called black. Nobody would ever call someone with only a little white to be white. But yet someone like The Rock or Rashida Jones is considered black. Something that makes absolutely no sense to me. They should not be called black. And Miss J looks nothing at all like someone who would be from Sub-Saharan Africa unless she were extremely diluted.

This topic has come up before about mixed people. Like Halle Berry for example, when whites see her, all they see is the black features in her. But when I see her, I totally see the Caucasian features. Her hair texture is not like West Africans, not her nose shape, or skin color or face structure. I see someone who looks nothing like most West African women who have no non-African blood.

As a single, isolated incident, this story is harmless enough. Good for that girl, yada yada yada.

If it is a harbinger of a larger trend that may see Japan follow on the road to demographic suicide, then it's tragic. I know it sounds overly dramatic to link a beauty contest to national suicide, but I'm looking at it from a "mindset" perspective. So far, what has protected Japan from population-replacement by immigration is the xenophobia of Japan's population, politicians, and institutions. If the selection of an African looking woman as Miss Japan represents the start of a shift in mindset to one more "tolerant" and accepting of what being "japanese" is, then who knows, Japan may follow in the footsteps of the West.

Time will tell which is it.

I have absolutely no doubt that there was big Cultural Marxist money funding and pushing this behind the scenes.

Rashida Jones and Hally Berry, like Stephen Curry, both strike me as having more European heritage than African from their appearances, probably because their fathers are African American and thus likely already have material European heritage.

I agree they shouldn't be called black (not because of some platonic ideal of "blackness," but because of the degree of unnecessary imprecision it adds), but the American public notion of "blackness" is benchmarked to something like 75%-80% African heritage (the approximate average for American blacks). So any one who appears more than 40% black or so will see an increasing chance of being lumped into simply "black", e.g. Obama ("first black president").

Stephen Curry is so light-skinned, with light eyes, that I do not think I have heard him referred to as "black," even though he's nominally of the same proportional heritage as Obama and Berry.

In conclusion, the public is pretty stupid and sloppy with their conceptions of race.

The Japanese should be applauding and celebrating mixed ethnic people in their country.

That country is withering on the vine. Birth rate is low as hell, population is aging, and the males there are turning into sniveling little worms.

I shit you not. The country is rotting from within and needs a big injection of fresh blood.

I was in Tokyo last May to try to recapture some of the old glory days. And man, it was bloody depressing. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Maybe my tastes had changed from being in Brazil so much, but I saw the girls as not very appealing, and the majority of the young men as complete worms: dyed hair, slovenly appearance, not very intelligent, weasely attitudes, snickering punk demeanors, and weak bodies with no muscle. Disgraces to their warrior ancestors.

I don't like seeing this sort of thing. I don't want to see wretched specimens of humanity.

They revolted me, to be honest. I have to tell the truth. It was a strange discovery for me that my tastes had changed so much in 20 years. But they had.

You are not the same person you were ten years ago. You will be a different person ten years from now.

Anyway, my point is that Japan needs to do more fucking and less worrying about racial purity.

And the same goes for their neighbor to the east, a certain peninsula dangling from the Asiatic mainland.
