I would treat them as borderline exploitative...even if there are no official complaints that you can find.

Having read about Ukrainian scams where they give you a personal "translator"...even though many
people speak English in the country should tip you off that they are dangling the promise of a beautiful
Ukrainian lady while you reach for your checkbook.

The beauty level of the ladies profiles is not high, in the street of Kiev you can see much better talent.

So maybe it's real? And the guy who runs the thing looks like about 5 while his wife is a solid 9.

According to the about us section. Looks like he was on Dr Phil (for a brief 60 seconds).

Apparently it didn't go well according to this article. OP, you are not related to this site are you? Sorry have to be skeptical, low post count and all. Can't blame me.

Dr. Phil Blew It On Mail Order Brides Show, Says Expert Author
Invited "expert in the audience" Mark Davis, author of "How to Meet The Woman of Your Dreams Overseas," was shocked at distortion in portrayal of Russian and Ukrainian romance -- offers his book for free!

"Marrying a Russian or Ukraine bride is the best kept secret in adult dating - I've been happily married for 4 years." -- Author Mark Edward Davis
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 12, 2011

"The Dr. Phil Mail Order Brides show set to air Friday, May 13 was a complete disaster," says author Mark Edward Davis. "Dr. Phil's show is supposed to be dedicated to improving relationships, but he foolishly chose troubled guests on the stage who should have never made it past the assistant producer," Davis says.
Mark and Anna will be hosting a live video streaming show 1 hour before -- and a live chat during and after the show to combat the myths about Russian and Ukraine brides at EuropeanDreamConnections.com.

"Using the hack, outdated, term 'mail order brides' in the show title was the first clue that Dr. Phil was going Jerry Springer in search of ratings. Putting a morbidly obese 60-plus-year-old self-described 'victim' and a man even Dr. Phil classified as in the top .01% of all the control freaks he'd met on as examples of international romance guaranteed an epic fail.

"The problems in these marriages had zero to do with the fact that they began via an international romance tour. The guys spent too much time bashing American women, and avoiding their own responsibilities. Their wives were miserable and frankly, Dr. Phil mailed it in with some platitudes about relationships.

"My wife and I sat in the audience with more knowledge and experience about this topic than everyone paraded on stage, including the host. The 60 seconds of airtime we got to defend the truth about overseas dating was even an exception. Sadly, the producer told us before the show they had not planned on having anyone on with a positive story," said Davis.

Mark Edward Davis, owner of European Dream Connections, met his wife Anna in Ukraine on a romance tour, and was so impacted by the untold true story about Ukrainian women vastly outnumbering local men he wrote a tell-all book for Western men seeking a unique, more traditional male/female love relationship they are unlikely to find at home.

After he and Anna appeared on The Today Show where Matt Lauer insinuated that Ukraine brides were "high class prostitutes" Davis was so furious he decided to give his book away free on his website EuropeanDreamConnections.com.

Mark Edward Davis is available for radio/television/media interviews on the topics of overseas dating, international romance, Russian brides, Ukraine brides, and mail order brides.

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is....

Think most of these "marriage agencies" are scams these days but I guess from time to time certain guys can make it work. Better to learn and use game and live over there for awhile - just popping in for a week or two and thinking it's going to work out is sort of unrealistic.

If you have to pay for more than the membership (sending messages, sending gifts) then it's 99% a scam. If you can't cancel at any time without being charged another period, then it's 90% a scam.

I haven't really looked at their pricing structure. I think they do a lot with tours.

The group tours always looked like a total scam. Desperate guys and girls who go to "socials" for the free drinks and food. The more realistic option is the guy that goes over who understands the culture, even if he utilizes an interpreter and meets the girls one on one he has a much better shot. I have seen guys marry and import Ukrainian girls and it worked. However as I said in other threads these guys were alpha and had their shit together. As a result the girls respected them.

I know a Ukrainian girl who signed up for charmingdate.com, a site that rewards the girls for their participation with cash. She decided she didn't like it and quit. They kept her account profile active long after she quit, presumably an employee of the website was still controlling it. After several complaints they finally removed her profile.

Later she did some internet searching and she found several other sites that had setup profiles in her name, using information and pictures from her original charmingdate account.

When will guys learn these semi marriage/ introduction agencies are a waste of time. 1 time I was in Kiev and "A Foreign Affair" of the biggest of these companies out there was doing a mixer for the guys they brought over. Since I was there at the same time I checked out how much they wanted to attend.
$300US. Crazy. I never even considered going.
I find Mamba is finished but I used to get good response on there a few years ago. Now it's mainly P4P or girls that speak no English.
