Chuck is now referred to as "dick suck chuck" on the IMDB board for this show by some, Lol.

Made me wonder if Chuck stopped Jimmy back in the mail room days.
I'm pretty certain that was the case.
Also, notice how Chuck was despondent during the Sandpiper Crossing meeting.
I don’t think this related to his condition, but rather him digesting the level of betrayal that he’d inevitably enact against Jimmy.

The Jimmy/Chuck thing was whoa. Made me wonder if Chuck stopped Jimmy back in the mail room days. Objectively speaking, a big regional firm like HHM wouldn't hire Jimmy...but if his brother was a partner... what happened to good ol nepotism.
And Mike finally got to be the bad ass that we know him to be.
LOL @ the GTA V shout out as well.
WIA
When is the GTA V shout out ? I think I missed it
For anyone interested in the soundtracks...
Intro
Scene where Mike locates Kettleman cash
Had to laugh at this Youtube comment - "I want to fuck Mrs. Kettleman to this song"
Looking pretty good for 43 in my opinion, WB, also to the above track on repeat.

I think my sense of time is off, but it seems as though Chuck became "ill" close to when Jimmy started practicing the law, about 18 months ago. There's speculation on various boards that Chuck's illness is his reaction to Jimmy/Saul's becoming an attorney.
Previously I had thought that Jimmy had been practicing for much longer than a couple of years.
I know plenty of Jimmy's who get their bar cards and hustle up small bank cases until the day that they die.

Is it just me or is Kim extremely bangable? Something about her..

The skinny lawyer/professional type is a new fetish.
I actually like Claire Underwood and Jackie Sharpe in House of Cards - but those are chicks that wouldn't catch my interest in any other circumstance.

I'm really enjoying this series. Others have complained that they have no interest in following a "boring" character like Mike, but he and Saul are my favorite characters from Breaking Bad.
While I feel for Saul not getting to work at HHM, of course if he had there would be no show thereafter, no Breaking Bad, etc...
Yes Kim has nearly perfect boobs, I really noticed in the scene where Jimmy offers her the corner office a couple episodes ago.

Shiet, the latest episode was great. So far it's been
First few eps: interesting
Middle eps: meh
Last 2 eps: Breaking Bad quality
Looking forward to next week's finale!
* The lady character still has no dramatic purpose - I wish they'd resolve that.

As much as I liked Mike and Saul in Breaking Bad, I was very skeptical of how they could hope to carry a show by themselves. I didn't think Saul schtick would be enough, and I couldn't imagine how much dramatic tension his adventures could really convey. My worry is always the same with things like this; you may feel like you want to know more about these characters, but that's as it should be. You should always be left wanting more. When you get right down to it, seeing what Tuco and Gus Fring were up to in between the bits we know about is probably not that interesting.
But I've been very pleasantly surprised, culminating in the incredible scene this week where Chuck's betrayal of Jimmy was revealed in full. A season of build up to that conversation was entirely worth it, and it was masterfully executed. Bob Odenkirk knocked that speech out of the park. I always got the sense that Chuck was something of a snake (he obviously holds Hamlin in high esteem, and vice versa), but the scale of his back stabbing still astounds.
A problem remains with the show, however, which is the climax of the show itself. At the end of the day, Jimmy's transformation from con man to hard working lawyer to criminal lawyer isn't as dramatic or as intense as Walt's transformation from hen pecked under achiever to drug lord. I'll be interested to see how the writer's handle that when it's time for the show to end.
Side notes: would definitely bang Mrs Kettleman, no question.
And I like Mike but for fucks sakes I get it, he's cool and efficient. But his flawlessness is getting less believable, and it's affecting my enjoyment.

Quoted for the truth.
As soon as the other bodyguard started smart talking Mike it was just way too predictable that Mike was just going to pull a quick move like that on him.
Great show and new episode, things are really coming together. Was pretty ill that Chuck has been shitting on Jimmy behind his back.

I don't have a brother, but if I were Jimmy, I wouldn't let anything happen to him as long as my mother is still alive.
And then:

Final episode tonight! Bittersweet
Well now we know what a Chicago sunroof is
Looks like I was a bit off but not too much. His brother betrayed him. WIA is right that a firm like HHM wouldn't hire Jimmy but he did bring them a multi-million dollar lawsuit but with his brother being a partner he probably would be given a job if that happened in real life. Plus he's shown that's he not a dummy by any means and is ready to work hard.
I am still a little perplexed why he didn't take the case to another big law firm after he found out his brother didn't wanna hire him and also is it me or is 20k too low of an offer? I would have asked for at least 100K + the 20% he was gonna get later.

The finale was pretty anticlimactic and probably the weakest episode in the season.

I can't wait until Saul finally meets Gustavo Fring.
Probably not until sometime second season though.
One thing I was always curious about was what Fring's past was back in Chile. They hinted at it several times in Breaking Bad as having something to do with the Pinochet regime, but they never revealed it.
That is a backstory I am looking forward to.
Early days of Los Pollos Hermanos will be cool.

I mean as far as we know he was just a veteran Philly cop. It's not like we have a back story of him being a bad ass Navy Seal in Vietnam.

More than Mike being flawless to me it came across that the other 2 guys were not that competent. These 3 were recommended as bodyguards by that vet who helped Mike. I really doubt that the vet knows polished criminals. Mike on the other hand was a dirty cop and extremely polished with these things.

I'm equally looking forward to learning more about the Juárez Cartel - Don Eladio, Hector Selamanca, et al.
They met Gus in 1989, so they've been established for quite some time with writers having plenty to draw upon (past and current).
What a lack luster finale.........
