I am considering going speed dating prior to St Valentine's Day, when in theory, women will be on their best behaviour.

I found a British company that hosts speed dating events across the UK. The effect that a woman's age has on the cost and gender ratio of a speed dating event is quite striking.

You can see that approaching St Valentine's Day, the gender ratio of events involving young women begins to narrow. In contrast, events involving women 37+ have for example:

Speed IS generally shit and piss mixed in a pot when looking at it from a Game / Red Pill perspective.

Why?

It is an effective means of a woman to get plenty of attention by thirsty Betas and nothing more. The one attractive man with Game who shows up at such an event will attract 80% of the female audience - yes, but such a guy would do well cold-approaching or running Game in a club.

Reasons for this:

- multiple 60-second (or more) mini-dates with blokes make the female hamster appear more desirable than she actually is - for the hamster it feels as if she is approached by 10-20 guys within a very short time-frame
- the short time-frame makes seduction more difficult - guys with Game could manage, but inane Betas are going to talk about their jobs and crap like that with a few seconds left instead of leaving a strong impression
- thus most speed dating events end by the women leaving alone, but vaguely feeling better about themselves, because they were able to get fast-paced attention as a booster for their frail egos

I went speed dating semi-often at a place by my undergrad university from age 18 to 22. It had a college-focused 18-25 speed dating event. Husband hunters, realizing that their communications degree was worth just about dick out of school, would show up. Easy way to meet lots of girls preselected for availability, and there were always some solid talent. I recommend it. I've been a bit busy lately and haven't really been investing that much time into girls since I have a dedicated main right now, but it's pretty efficient and I'll be getting back into it when I'm hungry for new girls. Never went around Valentine's though, might be a good idea.

The girls are all near the old end of the age line, 23 and older. There was usually at least a few ugly younger girls...but I digress. My first year I got no tail or interest, the girls seemed like their spark disappeared when they heard I was 18. My game was also much sadder.

At 19 I managed to get a bunch of girls by playing up my younger age once they brought it up and making jokes about how they were too old for me. "Yeah, my friends won't wanna hang out with a girl who can't stay out past 7 or she'll be tired." This worked because they thought I was below them due to my age, so the neg didn't hit as hard. Negging directly otherwise is NOT advised, because you don't have time to repair the hole you just tore in her ego and you'll be remembered unfavorably.

My game got better in later years, and I would also make sure to scope out who I would be talking to next. If she was hot and my current girl was unreceptive or disgusting, I'd make sure to say something like "Hold on" to my current girl at the timer, or hang out if I was the one rotating, outside of the hottie's earshot, so the girl would stick around a bit longer and it'd look like she was super into me. I'd look back at the other girl at least once during the hottie's turn with me, like I was still wanting to continue that encounter. This shit knocked the girls down a peg and made them more competitive for me. Rewarding her interest then gives her an endorphin rush that makes her remember me and meet up later. Game on.

Speed dating is actually kind of cool for practicing your material. You have five minutes, right? Go through the rotation, and run through the exact same routine every time. Unfortunately, it costs money, so that kind of sucks.

However, get this: Go to the event anyway. If you see there are empty slots, just march in and sit down. I did that once and it kicked ass. Didn't pay, and got to run through my material again and again. I actually almost got a bang out of it but I fucked it up.

Even as a 19yo - or especially as one - you can cold-approach en masse in school and college, on the street. Chances are - with Game you could have gotten much more girls than in such an event.

Also if you are mid- to end 30s and trying to get into a speed-dating group with early 20s girls, then you are probably not going to get far or they will not allow it.

The question is - did you profit from the speed dating experience and fucked several of the girls from one event? Or did you manage to bang one girl?

Let us know how it goes. I am doubtful if it's useful due to the fact that other men are going to approach the hamster and make her feel more valuable than they are. The only way how to profit from this is when you create strong attraction with one hottie and the rest follows. The dynamics are simply too much off from Game perspective.

No reason to do that unless you are in a small town where cold approach is frowned upon and there are no bars or clubs with sluts around.

If you can build attraction during speed dating and can get 2-5 numbers out of it - with maybe 1-3 bangs in the following weeks, then it's worthwhile - otherwise you spend time and money to give women some Beta attention. Only by breaking the general Beta-qualification script.

I agree that cold approaching is great, but why is it either-or? I did both in undergrad, and tried a lot more shenanigans as well. And I would say I profited from the speed dating for multiple reasons:

1. Sometimes I wouldn't get laid, sometimes I'd get laid, sometimes I'd get a few girls. I almost always got at least one solid lead with a girl clearly interested in my dick, and often more, but I was still in my formative years of gaming and I'd end up dropping the ball on occasion. It was hit or miss, but I'd say overall I'd get a bang about 1/2 of the time (not including when I was 18). Not bad odds for a horny sophomore

2. There was only one under-21 club where I went for undergrad. It had a $20 cover and I was a poor college student. These speed-dating events were free for students from the university.

3. The competition was bad. Sure, the girls end up getting a lot of attention, but it's from a bunch of poorly adjusted guys who can't/won't cold approach. If you swoop in with the confidence, style, and game that they lack, it's so unfair that it resembles Michael Jordan competing in the Special Olympics.

4. As Shortest Straw and N°6 alluded to, it is a fantastic place to practice your game. It helps eliminate approach anxiety, as you can practice your ramble and learn to build attraction quickly. You don't have to worry about getting blown up by a girl, as they're all interested. Personally, I'd otherwise struggle to find 12 girls to cold approach in a single hour who are all clearly down-to-fuck.

It ends up being a similar environment to a club in terms of attention dynamics, but the girls don't have bitch shields and the other guys are lame. I wouldn't advocate using speed dating exclusively (), but it's a great supplement that lets you sharpen your skills for (presumably) little cost.

EDIT: Forgot, one word of caution. Some of the girls who go to these are "soulmate" types who are looking for love, and thus get psychotic on you when you don't commit after sex. Be careful, keep your information on lockdown until you get a feeling for how nuts these girls are. Luckily my worst experience with one was when a girl I screwed saw me at the main library and loudly made a scene about how I was a pig and that she had found a "real man" after what I "did to her".

In general, my city has a decent gender ratio in bars. The workforce in its service and sales economy is mostly female. When I went to City Socializer and Meet Up events, I found men were in the minority. So I don't doubt the claims of the SD company and of these women who went to the Lock and Key Party.

I think a lot of men still harbour the illusion that they will find a woman at a regular pub or in a night club that uses sexy flyers to attract cocks with cash. Most men don't invest in the smart clothes and slightly more expensive drinks to mingle with women in a cocktail bar.

Maybe it's different in your city, but in mine, I do go to those cocktail bars (as they often have good jazz bands which is what I"m into) and suit up. However, I'm not into 99.99% women there - they're often wall hitters or even elderly. The few attractive ones there are with their boyfriends or husbands. Young attractive single girls do not have the income nor want to pay to enter those places. I'd bring a girl I'm dating there, but I've never met or picked up any from those classy venues.

There are plenty of live music or dance socials here that have very favourable male to female ratios, that is if you can bang anything female with a pulse. It's the male to attractive young female ratio that's important, and those events (in my city at least) have plenty of women but precious few attractive ones (who often come with a male partner anyway).

There would be ways to make speed-dating work for a Red Pill perspective, but women would not like it.

+ 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 ratio of women to men
+ Let the women sit in respective groups of 2-3 and let men decide whether to join/ get to know a group or not
+ or in contrast let those female groups come to the men - a simple thing like women having to move instead of the men - the men just sitting there works highly different on the hamster, since the women have to play the approaching part
+ in such a group-related setting women would naturally compete with each other even if they would otherwise reject such a man

There are probably some other ways to tweak the hamster from a Game perspective and make it work for both men and women, but again all such improvements would look brutal to women and they would not accept it I think. But - who knows - maybe they would around the wall and such events would prove to be effective?
