Agreed. Social circle does yield the best results, but definitely has a very high learning curve. This should be pretty obvious to anybody who has ever visited Asia... Doesn't matter the city, the best way to access super hot girls is through their friends. Guys on this forum need to honestly ask themselves how many hot girls (I mean top tier girls, like models) they've ever banged from cold approach... Odds are that it's not many, if any.. the best looking, most attractive girls are always surrounded by large groups of friends. Often found at night clubs at tables. These tables are sometimes guarded by bouncers. Best way to penetrate these tables is to have friends. Some guys might disagree, but I'd say they have poor taste in Asian women (99% of white guys I've ever seen in Asia have ugly or average girls).
tldr: make friends with club promoter types and your life will be easier, especially in Asia (yes, Bangkok too).
Great insights, travolta. I'm sure we could walk together into any high-end joint in Bangkok or Saigon and know exactly where to find the super hot girls. We would probably try to get a table next to our targets and start chatting up their beta orbiters. Not much thought involved.
On the other hand, I just don't think this strategy would be as useful in Taiwan or the Mainland, where we need to be more flexible and more careful to not conflate status with overall desirability.
I stand by my comments in Blackstock's thread: Taipei is littered with 8's. And unlike SEA's cream of the crop, these girls will actually talk to you on a cold approach, provided you're not a Winston Wu-esque type slob. The same can be said for Mainland cities, though the girls will give you the time of day because, as Laner put it, they are "curious and brash".
My advice for the OP: if you're authoring a thread like this, you're doing it wrong. Put down the Winston Wu chronicles, and figure out a way to convey some hint of value through your approaches.
Any distinction you're looking for is ultimately futile, because high-value Westerners should be applying an
abundance mentality to both Taiwan and Mainland.
