Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I've seen a teen using his phone for actually talking. I think my generation(X or Y or whatever) will be the last that used the phone as their primary means of communication. Even in the world of business the phone call is being slowly phased out. About a month ago, I saw a teenage girl talking on the phone. But from the sound of it, it seemed like it was from her mom, who was bitching her out about not being home.

Our phone plan blocks all text messages, so our oldest kid has to call everyone.
It is just parenting.

Yeah, I mostly text now. When I do get a call, it is almost always from my parents.
