Hungary has not bought into the rape hysteria. At least, it seems that way with this anti-rape PSA that targets girls for once. The video shows a group of girls engaging in typical slutty behavior, with a message at the end after one of them gets raped.

Predictably, the media has bashed the video.

I've been living in Hungary for almost 6 months now. In all that time, I have not heard a single discussion around rape hysteria. The toxic culture that's taken over in the west just doesn't exist here. Eastern Europe is a cultural oasis for me. I read the endless stream of absurd news stories posted here and on news sites from North America and ask myself, "how do I ever go back?"

I'm returning to North America for a few weeks over the Christmas season and I'm dreading it. I will do everything I can to get back to Hungary as quickly as possible in the new year.

I thought the video was gonna be about ''date-rape'' with a message like ''don't slut it up, get wasted, fuck a random guy and then complain about rape''. But if I understood the end correctly, it's about getting violently raped by a complete stranger in street. And the video blames alcohol and slutty behavior for that? That's fucked up What should women do to stop getting raped by a REAL rapist, like a weirdo in a dark corner? Stop going out? Stop drinking? Stop dressing provocatively? What does their slutty behavior in a club have to do with being cornered and attacked by a guy outside the club? The video is poorly made and it seems like the director is confused with whether he is aiming at date-rape or real rape. It's stuff like this that makes people believe that the society is truly blaming women instead of rapists. I'm all for women owning up to their actions and facing responsibility, but what's depicted in the video (attacking a woman and brutally raping) is completely different than the type of rape manosphere is criticizing (drunk rape, date-rape, frat rape, stare-rape, affirmative consent and shit).

Yeah, I finally finished watching it and now I am confused. I thought this was going to be a PSA about date rape or something like that. This one is a little bit strange. Maybe I do not understand the correct context.

If they are trying to say don't get drunk in public because bad things can happen to you, that is okay I guess in some countries, but I do not know enough about the country to know what is normal for their culture. If you had made a Chinese version of this video, no one in China would bat an eye. They shame people that get drunk in public like that (especially women) regardless of the bad guys around.

If not being sloppy drunk is your best defense weapon against bad people, I can agree with that. That is dangerous in many places in the world, even the US.
