I understand that this guy is a valuable scientist, and he looks like a cool guy...

But why would you give him a costly watch ( http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-42363-...#pid881743 )?? He is already very rich no doubt, plus, you want to give him the watch for what exactly? For being an outstanding rocket scientist, ok, fine with that... but, is it for breaking, crumbling and crying at the first (ridiculous) attack from a low-level enemy (the nobody unknown feminist bitch)[Image: dodgy.gif]??

He deserves a watch for being a crybaby? No, so I have a better idea[Image: idea.gif] : offer him a golden membership at RooshV ( http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-32112.html ), so that he learns about red-pill and fighting back for men and society!

Because it's a nice gesture. I agree with it 100%. It's not about the money. It's about the massive show of support and to be able to say, "On behalf of humanity, thank you for your hard work. You deserve any glory that comes your way; and not met with this media spectacle that cheapens your effort and achievements."

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

Ok, I understand your point of view, you totally make sense. But be warned: I bet that this scientist will refuse this gift. He won't accept it, he'll be too afraid of looking revengeful or not sincere in his remorse ...

I thought this as soon as I saw the apology and didn't say anything because thought it may be far-fetched, but is it possible that the brilliant astrophysicist outplayed us all?

What would have happened if he told these idiots to go to hell? The feminists would have said "See?! Men are pigs! Holding us back rah rah rah". He'd have his ego, and the noise would have died down and life would have gone on. By acquiescing, and not only that but looking (was actually?) very hurt to the point of tears, he took all the wind out of their sails "you were right, I was wrong, I only landed a probe on a comet, but am less of a person where it counts than you". They have zero legs to stand on, and there's nothing they can say because he gave them what they wanted, and the rest of the saner population saw it 100% for what it was, and initiated the push-back we're seeing now.

Except the bald scientists on the picture will have the opportunity to wear the 8-ball fur hat!

By the way, it tells us a lot, if we compare the 2 cases:

1 The tall bouncer from Puerto Rico. The ghetto bitch goes after him because he wears a jacket that she does not like. He reacts by being patient and calm, then she goes too far and he slaps her real good. After that he gets jailed, but he doesn't break under pressure and actually will sue the city. [Image: smile.gif]

2 The university-educated scientist. A crazy feminist goes after him because he wears a bright shirt with chicks on it. He reacts (understandably afraid for his career, yes) by begging forgiveness and crying.

It tells us interesting things I think about who still has balls in the western world and who has been "castrated" by the media, PC-police and feminists... people with good office careers cannot fight back anymore...

It makes me reconsider the situation and this guy's actions... could it be a planned, brilliant act, intended to subtly turn the tables on feminism?? From a lesser man I wouldn't believe it, but after all, the man is a brilliant mind! He could have thought of this subtle, efficient line of action, yes.

Take it one step further:

Have a few platforms with go-go dancers that look exactly like the girls on the shirt, all of them gyrating and grinding on poles during the next breakthrough in human space exploration.

This is why I said his reaction was actually perfect. Instead of saying "fuck off whiny bitches" which would've given them more ammunition, he actually cried and made it so there's no way they can look like anything but vile bullies. It was perfect for the bigger story here.

I have seen this get posted on facebook and the usual suspects on mine who post feminist drivel have been totally silent about it.

Even Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, has come out on the pro-shirt side:

Quote:Quote:

Dr Matt Taylor’s shirt made me cry, too – with rage at his abusers
An astrophysicist who deserves our applause has been pilloried in his moment of triumph
...
Yes, I suppose some might say that his Hawaii shirt was a bit garish, a bit of an eyeful. But the man is not a priest, for heaven’s sake. He is a space scientist with a fine collection of tattoos, and if you are an extrovert space scientist, that is the kind of shirt that you are allowed to wear.
...
I think his critics should go to the National Gallery and look at the Rokeby Venus by Velázquez. Or look at the stuff by Rubens. Are we saying that these glorious images should be torn from the walls?

What are we all – a bunch of Islamist maniacs who think any representation of the human form is an offence against God? This is the 21st century, for goodness’ sake. And if you ask yourself why so few have come to the defence of the scientist, the answer is that no one dares.

Boris is the balls. The epitome of the IDGAF politician. I hope he becomes PM someday. And President of the USA, and PM of Canada, etc.

This is an example of why this is a huge loss for the feminists. The tide is turning.

Boris Johnson is one of the few British politicians left with the balls to speak his mind. It's unlikely to happen, but I would love to see him as Prime Minister.

An update: The "10,000 Likes for Dr. Matt Taylor" Facebook page has exceeded its goal. It's now passed 14,000 likes -- and is still going strong.

Vote "like" here or pass it along:

There is definitely a groundswell of approval for him. I'd like to see this benefit him in the long run. Maybe he can use his 15 minutes of fame as a springboard to more success.

I don't think this will benefit Rose Eveleth. Because in most cases where feminists do stupid things and reap the rewards of book deals (or something), it's because they were doing something outlandish. She was doing the opposite -- being a prude -- and Americans tend to dislike people trying to restrict freedom of expression.

I don't see here getting more writing gigs from that, but I do see him becoming the toast of the lecture circuit.

Ive heard this term before, how is it different from welfare? Or minimum wage?

Welfare creates massive disincentives to work (as do Disability payments, and even Unemployment benefits to a degree.)

GBI gives everyone enough to not starve and keep a roof over their head. Everyone includes the productive and employed people too, so everyone is getting the same benefit. Welfare people no longer take a "pay cut" to go back to work. They can still CHOOSE to sit on their asses, but if they're watching enough of their friends make big improvements in their quality of life with a little work, it get's easier and easier to decide to work. It has massive impact on the (gargantuan) US disability payment system too. A LOT of these people can work, they just can no longer work in their chosen field (The construction guy that injures his back can now take desk job instead of collecting a check for the rest of his life). Under GBI, he would get about the same money, but could also work as a clerk or something.

That's not even the half of it.

Matt Taylor's Indiegogo page had a $3,000 goal and has now brought in $13,406 USD as of 12:30 p.m. East Coast Time on Monday. The guy is getting serious support.

I hope the stupid bitch at the Atlantic is reading this and knows she just earned the guy that much money. Nice going. I hope it goes up to 50K and they just give him the money.

Yup, and it's still got 19 days to go.

How long has it been going? No longer than a day or two AFAIK.

There are a couple of different directions he could have gone in with this.

1) Delivering apology while holding the leash of a escort in a gimp mask, whilst being blown off-camera, with only the very top of her head visible.

2) "I'm not mysoginistic. I only wore this shirt because my wife managed to fuck up my smart shirts in the wash. Dumb bitch can't do anything right."

Anything but give any satisfaction to these fucking oxygen thieves.

Keep seeing people in this sphere upset with the guy for breaking down and apologizing. They have got to realize how that key part has made our victory on this issue so overwhelming.

The fact that he broke down and cried didn't hurt him at all, though.
