I'm being tongue in cheek, but seriously, the gay "rights" stuff is a joke. Why has it become such a fad is beyond me. People don't even know if homosexuality is genetic or not. I used to think it was, but there are lots of research coming out strongly against this theory.

However, io9 might be outdated because the twin studies above show it cannot arise in the womb. If it arose in the womb, then both twins should be gay since both developed in identical womb conditions.

And you know what the real kicker is?

These studies were conducted by gay men themselves. Turns out lots of gay men are very offended by the idea that gayness is cause by a "gay gene," as if they are some sort of genetic freaks. Lots of gay men do not see themselves as genetic freaks.

So now we have gay researchers who are out to prove that it's not genetic at all, and they are succeeding. Thus if gayness is not genetic, but instead a "lifestyle choice," there is no way I can support such a disgusting behavior. It would be like saying junkie heroin users are making a "lifestyle choice."

I see. At most, I support gays living together on libertarian grounds, but when they sued a Christian for not baking a cake that was violated.

I also understand these couples divorce very easily and frequently, but that information is obfuscated as all hell.

But we do, there will be no surprise. They'll be the usual society-damaging laws : "lesbians have the right to marry and adopt or conceive babies", "any critics towards them will be treated as a serious federal crime", "they shall be given government jobs because male employers are pigs", etc etc etc. Same bullshit all over the western world.
