One of my biggest struggles for the past couple years has been my truck. Its an old Ford Explorer, and its age is showing. It creaks and squeaks, the interior is less then nice, and a college career being the designated vehicle left its mark.
This is one of my biggest hang ups internally. At all times this bothers me, and its really hard to shake the feeling. I can pep talk myself into thinking I look awesome, that its her loss if she walks away, that I am FUCKING AWESOME, but I cannot get myself over this issue.
I guess my question is, am I making to much of it? Does it really matter? If so is there any good way to let it roll off?

If your game is there you got nothing to worry about.
This is why you can be unemployed and still pull plenty of ass.
Of course, toys help.

What about going after the issue before it comes up? Throw out a jokingly sarcastic line like "yeah my other car is in the shop, thrashed my back axle during one of my many dangerous underground street races"

Who cares what she says? You are the man remember. Disqualify her or agree and amplify. I wouldn't bring it up unless she does.

I used to quote the late rapper Fat Pat when I had my old car. "Taking pride in my ride like every playa should"
