I've watched a few interviews with the most high profile of the accusers, Lucy DeCoutere, and she doesn't come across as stable. She's also in her 40s, single, and has hit the wall pretty fucking hard.

These women fuck the careless alpha / high status male when they're younger, and when they're older they have little to show for it. This leads to hard resentment, and the trump card is an allegation of assault or rape against the alpha they loved but who ultimately pumped and dumped them in their prime. I think this is the psychology at play with some of the Cosby accusers too, only they were also left disappointed by their careers failing to gain traction despite hard time spent on the casting couch.

As a side note, this Lucy chick sent Jian flowers after their date where he allegedly assaulted her. Flowers!

This case involved testimony about events in 2003-2008 the most recent allegation is from 8 years ago. A lot can happen in 8-13 years, a girl can go from the cute 27 year old hottie to a bitter 40 year old childless cat lady. It is difficult to defend against false allegations when you don't know what goes on with a woman mentally years after you last had contact with them. I have fucked young chicks in their 20's and then ghosted or parted on bad terms, if I were to get famous and wealthy while their life stagnated and they had the means to bring me down; who knows what they would do?

I know Juan gets no love here because of his leftist views prior to this case, but I feel empathy for the guy. His politics may be contrary to mine but he worked hard and became successful after many failures in his professional life. He kept plugging away, when his career stalled and his TV show was cancelled he found his voice on radio. He planned his finaces well and banged a lot of young hot bitches. He has investment real estate, a beach house and a bachlor pad in a trendy part of town. He also provides for his mother in old age. If you remove his politics from the equation he seemed pretty cool. One last thing ,once he was falsly accused people tried to insinuate that he was bisexual and completely destroy his reputation.That is a common leftist tactic-the homosexual/ small dick personal attack.

He still faces one more charge for sexual harassment, I hope he is found not guilty,

The media's coverage of this trial has been shameful from the start. Today it's even worse. They are not even talking about what the Judge said about the trial and emphasized not believing every sexual assault allegation at its face value. I dont like that male feminist and SJW that is Ghomeshi (Maybe he's changed now), but the butthurt and call for complete overhaul of justice system by the crybabies is a delight to watch. My friend is a law student and commented on a girl's status judging from a judicial perspective and literally the girl's comeback was: "Come on, you're a brother, a friend, a human being before a law student. Would you like it happen to your sister ?!! See it from that way !!!" Basically, evidence and facts don't matter, and let your emotions rule your heart.

This is unbelievable.

Our "liberal" rag here in the UK today published an article titled "After Everything I Went Through, Jian is Free" written by Lucy DeCoutere with a Guardian "journalist" as an interlocutor. The picture of a rather glum looking Lucy has her dressed up like she's about to go to a ball. In what other context would a national newspaper give column inches to someone who was proved by a court to have obfuscated and lied?

In almost all cases newspapers respect the verdicts of a court. Why doesn't the Guardian post a story about Jian's trauma? After all, the legal system has found the accusations against him to be false and without merit.

The guy went way beyond the norm, he said on his Twitter that he thought society would be better if it was ruled by women.

This is not an email that L.R. could have simply forgotten about and it reveals conduct that is completely inconsistent with her assertion that the mere thought of Jian Ghomeshi traumatized her.

She attached to this email a picture entitled "beach1.jpg", which is a picture of her, reclined on a sandy beach, wearing a red string bikini. This is not an email that she could have simply forgotten about. It reveals conduct completely inconsistent with her assertion that the mere thought of Mr. Ghomeshi traumatized her.

The negative impact that this after the fact conduct has on L.R.’s credibility is surpassed by the fact that she never disclosed any of this to the police or to the Crown.

It was only after she was confronted in cross-examination with the actual emails and attachment that L.R. suddenly remembered not just attempting to contact Mr. Ghomeshi but also that it was part of a plan. She said that her emails were sent as “bait” to try to draw out Mr. Ghomeshi to contact her directly so that she could confront him with what he had done to her.

I suppose this explanation could be true, except that this spontaneous explanation of a plan to bait Mr. Ghomeshi is completely inconsistent with her earlier stance that she wanted nothing to do with him, and that she was traumatized by the mere thought of him. I am unable to satisfactorily reconcile her evidence on these points.

The expectation of how a victim of abuse will, or should, be expected to behave must not be assessed on the basis of stereotypical models. Having said that, I have no hesitation in saying that the behaviour of this complainant is, at the very least, odd. The factual inconsistencies in her evidence cause me to approach her evidence with great scepticism.

L.R.'s evidence in-chief seemed rational and balanced. Under cross-examination, the value of her evidence suffered irreparable damage. Defence counsel's questioning revealed inconsistencies, and incongruous and deceptive conduct. L.R. has been exposed as a witness willing to withhold relevant information from the police, from the Crown and from the Court. It is clear that she deliberately breached her oath to tell the truth. Her value as a reliable witness is diminished accordingly.
