I always like that when I read articles like this, they inevitably show up on RVF.

In addition, I noticed the same things you did. The whole size issue, that a 14 is beautiful, and last but certainly not least, equating Dunham to the other two.

The promotion of obesity as healthy and attractive is insane. That it is accepted and any questioning of it results in being ostracized is absolutely mind boggling.

Of course not. That isn't the point. But it's simple to see that very few women of above average ['conventional'] attractiveness are ardent 'feminists' or harp on these causes. There's no need or reason to indulge in a negative worldview when the world caters to your whim because you're attractive. Sure there are the ['damaged'] outliers or exceptions that prove the rule.

But, having posited this, it's simple to understand that for the remainder of less than average attractiveness, there are some aspects of attractiveness that can be controlled (weight) and some that simply cannot (body somatotype, facial attractiveness/symmetry etc.) and things like weight require some degree of discipline. Which is hard work, and who in Western society is really going to go to that kind of effort?

When you boil it down, it's simply a sexual marketplace strategy to mitigate flaws and maximize value under adverse conditions by redefining basic metrics with the minimum amount of additional expenditure of effort.
