I signed a lease for a 1BR apartment a month or so ago. Lease begins mid-July, runs 12 months. This apartment is in the same town I currently live in.
Due to an unexpected job change, I'm moving to a different city.
There is a "no subletting" clause in my rental agreement.
For what it's worth- I've actually only submitted an "e-signed" rental agreement via email. No physical papers with my handwritten signature yet, and no security deposit.
What steps should I take here?
EDIT: the apartment was in fairly high demand when I signed. Only three 1BR units were left out of probably 50.
