Cold approaching doesn't come as an obvious approach.

If a girl talks to you for something that is not related to something that is required, like asking for help if your at work, that is an approach.

Females work in subtle ways. It could be simple eye contact, a quick simple, a quick seemingly innocent question. That's an approach. I'm willing to bet guys on here have been approached far more times than they actually realize.

It has happened, now that I think about it.

A couple of weeks ago, while charging my mobile at a boarding gate in Sydney Airport, I was asked if I would be long with that power socket. I smiled and indicated another one to my left -- pretty obvious to the eye. She smiled back and commented something about having to complete her paper. We both focussed on our thing, I asked her to watch my stuff while I wandered around.
She eventually indicated boredom with her work and upon my asking, got me to guess her accent, which I got to after a few hints. She's a Romanian PhD student, a 7/8, around my age, brunette. We chatted about travel, our studies, some mutual teasing about our interests, vibed well.

I sensed interest by the end but when she boarded her flight, I assumed the sale and anticipated her asking my number (she didn't). We indicated that we hoped to bump into each other on the way to university as she goes to the one up the road from mine -- which happens to be Melbourne's largest uni.
Damn. I've got stop being so hopeful and push for a date instead. We haven't seen each other since. :/

A turkish girl ran some indirect game on me at one point. Asking me for some directions or something and I ended up getting her contact. She was doable but I was beta at the time. Funny thing is that I totally believe it. The more I learn/experience I realize the truth is stranger than fiction.

I've been cold approached/opened by a girl but only in a very crowded area or during a big event. The last time I can remember this happening is during a very large event in my area where I was approached on the sidewalk out in front of my house (right by the beach) by multiple girls that were walking down to the beach/event. They were young, dumb, and I wished I'd filled them with my cum.

Unfortunately, they probably approached me more because of my friend's dog, but that was more of an excuse on their parts because 2 of the 5 were like "fuck the dog, who's this guy" once I'd established some rapport.

They only noticed my shirtless muscled up buddy after he stepped over and it was apparent we were friends. Kind of entertaining.

It's pretty rare that I get cold approached, but it's happened (sans dog). Most of the times I'm sure it doesn't hurt that I've had social proof or am in a cool area/participating in fun/social sports.

I'm of somewhat above average looks, but I really don't expect to get approached much at all. Eyed much more often, but still not regularly by any means. I've been approached slightly more in the night/bar/club type environment, I'm sure due to liquid courage and the low light makes everyone look better.

Being cold approached by a girl who is cute/pretty is rare. Even an ugly/overweight girl approaching me is something that's nice to have. I never am a jerk to girls if they approach nicely, I'd much rather take it as a compliment.

When I was younger, like 16-23, I'd get cold approached a lot. I've been straight up asked out by a number of girls, though honestly most of those were way below my standards. I'm a handsome guy, and back then I had the lean/muscular/ripped look going on. I can remember several times girls didn't just want me to take them out, but they basically threw themselves at me or wanted me to come to their place and fuck them. Those were usually pretty hot, but into the drug scene or chicks trying to find an army husband. Unfortunately most of that shit happened when I was in a really bad place mentally and all I wanted was a nice girlfriend and some stability, so I ignored most of them.

These days I'm still handsome and all, but I'm overweight (muscular with a layer of fat) and not nearly as good looking overall as I used to be. I still get approached but normally by girls I'm not interested in banging. Basically if I am making some effort to look decent and not wearing a hat I'll get a good amount of interest. If I'm looking too scruffy, wearing a baseball cap, etc I'm invisible to women. Should be interesting to see how things go as I lose weight and make an effort to improve my appearance overall.

One cute girl did approach me a few weeks back, pretty decent looking, blonde with big tits, probably 18, I figured she was a new freshman at my school. She wanted to sit with me at the library, which no girl has never asked to do in all my time here as there are plenty of places to sit. I tried making small talk, tried getting her to engage a bit, but she was super shy and wouldn't even make eye contact after she sat down. I was working on something and I probably waited too long to start chatting to her, and gave her time to get all self conscious and shit. How about this perhaps. The alpha does not have concern for the thoughts of sheep and to him that girl that just asked him does not exist. You lowered your standards, your own self worth, and all measure of respect by going with her. I would prefer blue balling for a night than going with a girl I considered ugly. If she was slightly below par but cute I might have done it but not flat out ugly.

Also in response to the thread. Occasionally I get appproached by chicks due to my local rep. It's usually something like "OMG aren't you H. I have heard a lot about you."
