...but some are still more equal than others.

What's the over/under on whether this chick championed fiat diversity and affirmative action during her undergraduate studies? Oh, sweet irony.

For those of you in the process of choosing graduate (or undergraduate) programs, would an event like this dissuade you from attending a particular institution?

"Okay (and I'm laughing now, because this is so funny), so we're A) not supposed to give you flowers, B) pay you compliments, or C) look at you. Anything else? Because I'm struggling to figure out the reason why after hearing that, I'm feeling like I'd rather get fucked in the ass by a Cape Buffalo than ever have to sit through dinner with you. Maybe you can figure it out for me. When you do, let me know. I'll be at Natasha's house."

What proof do you have of that? I remember this girl from a while ago. She seems to be pretty conservative. I'm sure she had to endure several liberal arts classes where any dissent from the liberal narrative was disallowed. Something I've experienced myself, although I used to be a liberal back in my college days. I guess that brain-washing I got in public school and college was pretty effective.

It is interesting the article indicated that Texas has some rule about Top 10% automatically being accepted.

Quote:Quote:

The justices noted that Texas’ “top 10” law, which awards college admission to the top 10% of each high school’s graduates, has already led to an influx of Latino and black students.

Quote:Quote:

Fisher, who graduated from Louisiana State University in 2012, was in the top 11% of her high school class.

But she didn't make the cut. So rather than accepting it there must be justice done.

Just guessing her age to be 24/25 based on the dates in the article. That is rough looking chick for that age.

I'm just going on the stereotype of the educated American white female. Silly of me, I know.

#1 discriminated group in terms of US college admissions are Asians. As for affirmative action, it should be done on socio economic basis rather than race. Giving preferential treatment to kids of rich black parents to take a place of poor asian kid who did way better on tests is idiotic.
