Should I do 100 approaches?

Alright, so I know the most common advice for those new in the game is to just bite the bullet and do 100 approaches.

However, right now I am 16. School is out and I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm doing everything to improve myself (lifting, eating right, reading) etc, but need a way to improve my game.

I don't expect to get any action from my 100 approaches, I'm mostly doing these to sharpen my conversation skills and to eliminate approach anxiety so that it won't be a problem later. Basically, I am trying to improve my game to the point where I won't fuck it up when I actually get opportunities when school starts again.

What I really need is a way to interact with lots of women (ideally I will never see them again). So my question is: are there any good hobbies/activities/jobs that will allow me to do this or should I just do a lot of casual approaches?

When I started approaching I approached literally everyone. Any time I was in the presence of someone for more than a few seconds I would initiate conversation, regardless of their sex/race/age/etc. This improved my conversation and rambling skills immensely, as well as introduced me to new females, made me some interesting and beneficial new friends (the middle eastern guy at the store near my house no longer charges me debit transaction fees) and gave me a few interesting stories to use in future conversations. I now start conversations with everyone around me (including females) without conscious effort. I chatted up a pair of old women yesterday on my walk home; we talked about the weather, then I brought up that I'm glad it's going to rain this weekend because I need to study for final exams. I learned from one of the old ladies that her granddaughter just graduated high school and is moving down here in a few months for college (score!)

Consider that, even if you feel like you are already a strong conversationalist. (Hint: your not if you don't know how to approach.)

Edit: also, don't eliminate the possibility of getting "action" out of your approaches, even approach number one. Could result in a self fulfilling prophecy. Go into the conversation with the intent of the lay (if applicable,) but don't overvalue it.

I'm going to strongly advise against cold approach in high school, if you've thought about it. I considered it, but even where I was in high school (social, but not social in the right ways), I realized it was a bad idea.

Being a lifeguard is a good way to meet women. I can't think of too many other jobs, but I strongly advise against stuff like working in an office as a summer intern (I did it and hated every minute of it).

If you're not fucking her, someone else is.

Interesting point. High school life almost seems like it's determined within months of starting and just stays stuck in the rut of common perception. The cliques settle in, everyone knows the preppy kids from the jocks from the band from blah blah. So I can see not wanting to upset the balance too much. Normally I'd say just approach anyway and fuck them if they don't like it, but I totally get that you're trapped in a building with the same people day in and out for 4 years straight so screwing with your social circle before you know what you're doing is risky.
That being said; job wise, I recommend a job at a shopping mall if you have those. I worked at one once. It's amazing how people network there. Also kinda sad sometimes. My old boss married a manager of a store. The mall gm married the security director. Sad. But you'll get two things from it:

1) The customers. What chicks don't like shopping?
2) The mall/stores staff. Talk to everyone. The mall cops, janitors, gamestop girl, sunglasses guy, etc.

Chicks or not, make small talk. Skillful conversation comes from practice, and you'll get plenty.

Volunteering, "National Honor Society"(aka load of shit but English Homor Society is also a good alternative), get a job at Chipotle(every high school girl goes there), learn to produce music like I do(electronic music through torrented programs) and sit at coffee shops making it and using if as an opener by asking for opinions(it's also fun), get connected with your local stoner/dealer and see if he knows any raves in the area, and last of all talk to everyone and anyone. Read the social circle guide in my signature to build a social circle and make connections now as well. Also lay off the hard classes your senior year and go to every sports game. I guarantee you there is always an after party. Also meet up with those of influence and befriend them. High school is all about being social. Be sure to do crazy shit too. Spread your name around.

Man I would do anything to be 16 again and have this kind of knowledge like Roosh gives.

Dude I know you probablly think I'm too young to game blah, blah don't listen to that bull shit lie your brain and society is trying to tell you.

Man I was so blind at that age- try to find older women in your area cougars and milfs love younger guys.

Follow Rooshs advice and do one approach/day-hit up parks, malls, college campuses, busy pedestrian areas-dont be afraid to hustle hard this is how you get better. Try grocery stores, starbucks, book shops, walmart, you name it game hard and use the terrain and venue to your advantage-if you live near the beach hit it up on a saturday-anything like that.

Read all of these-

Remember dude grindin it out is how you improve, overcome fear, build skill, self confidence, etc.

I believe in you and know you can improve.

Seriously, be thankful you are so young, hungry, go after it, and get what you want out of the game and life.

Remember dude- the biggest thing we regret in life are those risks/opportunities we dont take. Go for it.

Keep us updated. DOnt be afraid. Hustle hard.

PS-
Start saving and when youve got 5-10k check out these fellow RVF brothers site and game hard overseas too-

Also have to emphasize this:
BE AN ARROGANT COCKY COOL MOTHERFUCKER. girls your age eat that up. Don't be a dick but don't be afraid to be that confident badass. This is a period in your life where you should shine and make sure they never forget you.

Go to the beach, universities nearby, student housing, the mall area. Or like everyone said, lifeguard, camp instructor. Are you in a metropolis city like NY or Miami? or like a small city?

HELL YEAH YOU SHOULD DO 100 APPROACHES.

High school is so inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, now is the time to say what's up to that cute Goth girl that nobody ever talks to. To bump into that sophomore cheerleader. Run game on those chubby "dance squad chicks". Say what's up to stopper on the girl's soccer team. Figure out what's happening with the student body treasurer.

Now I'm not saying you need to asking where the pet shop is during 2nd lunch, or trying to isolate a chick behind the bleachers EVERY CHANCE YOU GET....but now's the time to learn to be social.

As you get older, the high school repeats itself.

In college, the people divide up
- nerds in one corner
- black, latino, indian, asian kids over here
- jocks over there
- pretty girls over here
- arty people over there
- ESL kids at their own table
- never see the special needs or emotionally disturbed kids anymore, not like grade school

And when you get out into the work force, you'll see the same thing happen in corporate
- the jocks and douchebags go into management
- the pretty chicks are in sales or HR
- the nerds go into engineering and IT
- and lol @ minorities and creative @ a fortune 500 (I'm sorta kidding but not)

*that's if you're lucky enough to get a job, or maybe you're smart enough to start your own biz...

Now is the time to realize that these people are just like me and you.
Living, breathing, capable of mistakes, dumb at times, brilliant at others.

They aren't just stock characters and villains in the movie that runs in your mind.

The safe way is to join a bunch of clubs, and then warm/worm your way into introductions.

The G-way is to stop a mf'er in the hall when classes change.

"Who the fuck are you, and how come I don't know you, even though we've been going to the same set of schools for a decade?"

Now's the time when you're full of testosterone and all of the danger avoidance parts of your brain haven't formed. If you're the sort of kid who thinks, hmm maybe I can jump the Grand Canyon with my bike and a backpack full of fireworks - you won't always be that kid.

Assuming you've got some homies to kick it with already, some boys that have your back when hot Debate Team chick calls you out, now's the time to see what it's really like to free yourself from the matrix.

I'm not approaching girls in my social circle/high school, that's the whole point. I'm finally starting to go out to parties etc more often and I need to sharpen my game elsewhere so I don't develop a reputation as the "awkward guy".

A couple of guys have suggested lifeguarding. I can probably snag a job lifeguarding pretty easily. I've never really considered it since it seemed to me like most lifeguards just sit in their towers all day.

Does anyone have any experience/reference on lifeguarding. I might give it a try.

Lol, my high school is small with awful ratios. I'd estimate that there are only 20-ish bangable girls in total. The girls in my social circle are mostly from other schools. I have an entirely different circle than most of my friends at school, which could be a good thing.

But anyways, thanks for the response WIA (and everyone else too). I've decided to take the plunge. 100 approach log will go up next week after I'm back from a trip.

Should I do 100 approaches? Is that even a question?! If I'd known in high school what I know now, I'd have smashed it. You're lucky to have game awareness at your age.

That said, don't poison the well at school. You can game, but use discretion.

Should I do 100 approaches?

I typically just go out for long walks in a place I find interesting and approach any woman I find attractive who's alone and not running for a cab or something. I probably shouldn't, but I approach directly almost all the time. It typically goes as "Hi, I just noticed you and thought you looked kinda cute (or "hot", "sexy", "pretty", whatever comes to your mind when you see her). I'm Sargon, nice to meet ya."
From there I just start running my mouth and saying whatever comes to mind. After you do it a few times in rapid succession, it'll become natural and you won't think anything of it. She'll either react positively, negatively or lukewarm. If you see a good indirect reason to start talking to her, then by all means use that, but being direct get's rid of the hesitance that comes from having to pull a bullshit reason out of your ass for talking to her. Granted, you should be aware that being indirect has gets you laid a lot more on average than being direct, but both are good in combination.

Hope that helped.

Also, try the job of summer camp counselor. There is definitely a hook-up factor here. Girls are away from home, away from boy friends.

Watch these two movies to get motivated:

Meatballs: it's one of Bill Murray's best and basically inspired the summer-camp movie genre.

Little Darlings; this one will be tough to find and may only be out on VHS. But it's about two girls at summer camp competing to lose their cherries. It would be PG-13 today, but was R at the time.

Most guys your age are still virgins. Don't judge yourself. You have to think you're god's gift to women.

Sarging on the job can get you in trouble. But you're young, so it probably won't matter in the long run.

I wonder if you get a job at a gymnastics school or something like that. There will be lots of girls there.

Finally, be willing to go three years younger. Girls that age worship older boys automatically. It will especially be good if you have a car.

The girls are here to worship you. You are here so they can worship you.
