Congratulations Roosh for making the big jump. I watch you with a mixture of awe and envy.

I'm sure you are keeping a journal to record your thoughts, impressions, and experiences. You can bet that it will be very valuable to you someday.

A suggestion on how to answer the "Why are you talking to me, instead of the other girls?" question. First, I love that question, because it speaks of female humility, which is so endearing to me. It's a very feminine, very mild shit-test, in which she is trying to get you to reveal why you like her. Don't take the bait too much. Japanese girls do the same thing.

I think a good response is just to keep doing what you're already doing. You can say something like:

"I just felt the urge to speak to you."
"You seemed approachable."

Or some vague response like that.

Keep crunching and pronging....

The Russians like patronizing. When they give an advice they mean it.For example:"Relax two hours in your room and then we will come to fuck us."I usually revolt against this kind of patronizing which means the woman gets in control. The same is "find yourself another girl".They really mean it.

So I could use some feedback on this test I'm getting. On two or three occasions, after a few minutes of conversation, girls asked me, "Why did you come talk to me? There are many pretty girls here."

I would answer "You seem friendly" or "You have nice hair." They didn't like these answers. They'd aggressively point out the pretty girls in the room (there's always many!) and suggest I talk to them, like they'd be easier.

Then I would say "I want to get to know you" (Я хочу познокомиться с тобой), but still it wasn't helpful. I feel like there's a right answer but I'm not hitting it. Any ideas on what to do here? I'm pretty sure I will encounter this again soon.

I run into this kind of "why me" stuff a good bit in Thailand.

I always tell the truth which is something like "I honestly don't know... But something made me want to come over to you."

I feel congruent with that reply because really, fuck if I know why I come over to one girl over another one who's just as attractive.

-А хуй его знает, мне в общем-то похуй кого ебать, могу и тебе вдуть.

Edit: some better ideas:

-Почему ты выбрал именно меня?

-Почему бы и нет.
-А что, ты думаешь, что я сделал неудачный выбор?
-Мне понравились твои глаза. У тебя завораживающий взгляд.
-Мне понравилась твоя улыбка (if she's smiling)

Greek, not sure what dictionary you're using for your "Russian" writings but I doubt a Russian girl would be impressed with that butchering of the language. I advise instead the following conversation which is more grammatically correct and will impress the girls more with your knowledge of proper tenses and sentence flow:
Here's a correction:
- Pocemu menya?(Why me?)
- Patamu sto ty charossaya.(because you are good).
- Eto plokho chtoby skazat devushke chto ona charossaya. Kak ty znajes chto ja charossaya? (It is bad to tell a girl she is good. How do you know I am good?)
- Dumayou. Ty vyglyadish charosso.(I think so.You look good).
- Ha
- Da. Russkiye devushki ochen' interesnyy (Yes.Russian women are very interesting).

(note about above: from my experience they love emphasis on certain words...I use the word ochen quite frequently in my conversations)

I've also noticed from my extensive travels that other than via online game the locals rarely use Latin alphabet. It is good to learn common cyrillic phrases and have them copied into your phone. That way you can copy and paste them if you're ever in need and trying to set-up a quick date. For example, I use a Nokia Lumia 620 Windows 8 phone and have 3 international keyboards installed and "my notes app" to use with cyrillic/russian sayings. When at a club and I want to use fancy words I look up a saying that i've pre-arranged on my phone in advance and take 2 seconds to re-memorize it before I do my approach:
Я люблю вашi распущенныe волоси, они сверкают в свете ( I love your flowing hair, they sparkle in the light)...is a typical approach i'll make at a club when I see an HB 7+

Russian girls like beards more than Ukrainian. Girls are stroking my beard like I'm a Persian cat. In Ukraine that never happens. One girl said, "Strong men have beards." I can safely keep a longer beard here. I'm very pleased at this development.

The veggies and the fruits taste the way they should, because they have not yet been gen modified and furtilized to death (who cares how an apple looks, it needs to taste good and be healthy). Russia has the the so called black soil, which is actually the best in the world, and which was one of the reasons The Germans wanted to conquor Russia.

Fruit and vegetables grow for about four months of the year in Russia. The rest of the time everything has to be imported. If you live in Russia for any reasonable amount of time you'll see how difficult it is to get quality food. Fisheries, livestock and dairy are largely unregulated as well. Compounding all of that is Russia's slow transport infrastructure - it takes a long time to get anything onto the shelves.

But again, if your reference point is Monsanto-engineered produce found in the US, anywhere else would be a major improvement.

Most of the arable black soil is in Ukraine, by the way. Russia is not the Soviet Union...

Welcome to Russia, Roosh! Finally the time has come. I look forward to hearing more about your experiences and how it compares to the rest of the locations you've lived. Since Russia is the first country I've lived in long-term outside the USA, I have little reference points for comparison, but I love the place despite it's hardships.

Regarding fruits and veges in Russia, hypermarkets in Moscow region are stocked just like any western supermarket in my opinion. The quality seems on par usually...but sometimes fruit tends to go bad more quickly (result of no GMO?). I'm still not sure because even if Russia doesn't grow GMO, maybe the imported stuff is? Anyway, I usually just buy from the local market, not the "hypermarket", so my selection is more limited. They always have huge tasty bananas [Image: lol.gif] and they are quite cheap!

Congrats on the making the move to Mother Russia Roosh!
Why are you carrying your passport with you, specially at night? Do the authorities and security at clubs/bars ask that from foreigners? Wouldn't a copy of it suffice to eliminate the risk of it being lost and or stolen?

I will be following this with great interest as I do want to get there later this year. I'm also going To start learning Russian so that I can say a few things by the time I get there. Oh and I will let my beard grow as well for the first time in my life! [Image: banana.gif]

President carter,
How's your time in Russia going? Are you still teaching English there? Would love an update from you on how things have been since you moved there.

dobra pazholovat v Rossiiu Roosh!

Wow glad you finally there. Interesting comments - agree the vegetables and fruit generally had better taste than what I got in the US. It goes bad quick! (as it should)

Interesting that the women find you so intriguing wherever you are. In Moscow it's hit or miss, but I never experienced WGF there really. Good to hear it's somewhat alive and well in a secondary city - at least to a certain extent.

Looking forward to hearing more! Wondering how the nightlife is during the week, if there is any. In Moscow it was actually not that great at least as far as I knew.

To be honest when a Russian/Ukrainian does that I see it as her natural insecurity/jealousy. In my experience you have to let her know that she is also pretty and stand your ground. I had gotten that often enough and it was never a rejection. But girls who do that usually you need some patience. So it is up to you.

LOL..I would avoid writing Bang Russia. Last thing you want is Putin mad at you. I hear there are some Russian speakers in DC [Image: smile.gif]

As I've never been to Russia, take this comment with a grain of salt, but wouldn't a possible solution be when you hit a club, to approach the hottest girl there and then work your way down?

If there's that many hot girls there and you approach the hottest one, then what is she going to say? "There's other pretty girls here too".

I'd try it and see what happens.

Best case scenario you swoop the hottest girl [Image: banana.gif]

Worse case scenario she isn't interested and you can focus on the other girls.

Great post about Russia though. Between this and Slubu's thread and pictures he's shown me of his trip I've got to get my ass out there within the year. LA nightlife is in the sewer and I need some change.

It's actually the law, but I haven't seen a single policeman yet.

That said, the reaction is very strong when people see it, especially when they read the "Place of birth - Washington DC" part. There is a certain "power" to it that I think I will take it with me even if I don't have to. I understand what slubu was taking about with the California driver's licence. The buzz, I believe, lies in that it's an American document they've never seen before.

Like McQueen, take this with a grain of salt.

I find that those questions from girls that leave you scratching your head are often best answered with another question.

Q: "There are many pretty girls here, why are you talking to me?"
A: "Do you think you are not pretty enough?"

Not sure how that would play out with the slavic wimmin but seems like worth a shot.

I guess we are in for a massive Russian fever on the forum in the nearest future.
It got me thinking about crossing Russia by train (for the third time) on my way to Asia and checking out some new smaller cities.
Why not. Russia always offers a great cocktail of adventure and excitement.

Russia and Philippines are two very different countries but they are both insanely addictive.
Especially in terms of girls.
Once you've been there, you always have a plan to return.

BUT I must admit that when I came to Vladivostok from Seoul, I was dissapointed with the quality. Not to blame to the Russian cats. I still suffered from yellow fever after spending some months in Asia, and all of a sudden the women I saw seemed so big and masculine compared to the Asian cats.
It's quite strange because the reason I went to Russia was because of seeing all these
hot Russian girls on vacation in Thailand, it pumped me up so I went and applied for a Russian visa.

However, it took me one week in Vladivostok to get adjusted to the Slavic features. But after spending one week in Vladivostok and one week in Khabarovsk I later reliazed that the hottest women I ever saw in Russia was in the far east, in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok.

Anyway. All guys who are even slightly interested of going to Russia. GO!
The experience will be rewarding in one way or another.
