I don't necessarily agree with that. I've become a sort of Russian-expert in the last few years both in Barcelona and in my travels to Russia/Ukraine. While Russian girls tend to be more gold-diggers than westerners, the same logic applies at a certain level. High-rollers will high-roll, it's just that there are more of them in Russia. But... you can get your way with them without having to pay (much) just by out-alpha the other guys they are fucking. I've had girls who kept on coming back to me and even pay for things while showing me the pics of their recent trips to Maldives (with a sugar daddy of course) or telling me how this Duke wanted to fly her on his private plane. I just don't pay attention, or laugh at them and their sugar-daddies while giving them a good fuck.

Normal girls expect you to pay for things but that won't be outrageous. Being from Mexico, I don't see much of a difference than what you would give a Latin American girl, which is pay for meals, cinema, entertainment but not much more than that.

Again, there are tendencies, but it depends a lot on the vibe you transmit.

I'm glad that you wrote this because I got a bad mood as I had read kamakis post. I can't imagine that, is there really every girl either from a 1st tier city or 2nd to 4th tier city hunting for guys with money?

Let's imagine a guy in his 30 with a medium-sized flat, maybe he just uses the public transportation (has no car) and has a normal 9-5 job. This guy won't fuck because he can't afford this costly style of life for his girl/wife?

You will get a girl (or more) in Russia, there's a lot of them and the guys are just not up to par. You have to be ready to pay for more things than you usually do in Europe (or the US) but it's not outrageously different.

In a very real way your post actually confirms what Kamaki said and that many Russian women are indeed gold diggers to a certain extent...like most women are. These women you've been with probably see you as the more exotic 'fun' dude I guess. But they still have their proverbial 'sugardaddy' footing the bill for these trips abroad they are taking and thus can have fun on their own while the cat's away. And when they pay for you they are probably just using money from XYZ sponsor to do it. Not that I blame them.

Also, I'd say that if you've not lived in Russia you're more of an expert on vacationing Russian girls and Russian expat women.....not Russian women living in Russia. There is a difference. This is not a 'knock' on you but just reality. And, in any event, it's good to be an authority on Russian women wherever you are!!

There are a few very different types of women in Russia. First, the hot girls at clubs, good luck, they are smatter than all of us in terms of extracting resources, they will take your money and they will break you. The second type in any major city, they want to be treated like a western girl. They won't take your money but then you get a European experience. Then, the third and final group, my personal favorite, the girls who can't speak any English and never traveled. These girls are 60% or more, the average Russian girl. They won't take your money, they will respect you more than any woman before in your life, and it is damn hard not to agree to a relationship with them. The only problem is that you must be fluent in Russian to access these. And because they are used to only Russian men, you can use that to mold them as you like although I don't suggest taking them out of Russia. These are just my observations after dating every type of Russian girl over the past few years. Just remember all Russian girls sense weakness from 1000 km away. Good luck and once you find real Russian women, you will never go back!

First time I met someone like that I ended up staying at her flat for several weeks.
I felt like a fucking king and have never been so respected by any woman in my life. It was a really good time and a eyeopening experience.
She really did everything to please me. That " relationship" was the last nail in the coffin when it comes to dealing with Western woman for me. I lost all interest after that.

Once you have been in some sort of passionate relationship with a real Russian girl with strong feminime energy it's almost impossible to go back to anything else. I don't blame guys who fall into some sort of relationship with a Russian girl in Russia. It's hard to resist that.

This cannot really be explained with words, it needs to be experienced.

It's a matter of taste. But for me personally, Russian women are the Queens of all women in the world.

I have not lived there but I've spent long periods there (months), thus meeting locals. I also speak some Russian which has helped me get the third kind Matthew Shannon talks about.

In fact, I completely subscribe to his categorization of Russian girls. What I didn't like about Kamaki's point is that he just described the first kind and assumed they were all like that. But there's even a precision to be made, some are gold-diggers to some guys and normal girls to others.

Again, it depends on your vibe. It's like when a girl tells I guy "I don't like to do this in bed", they probably think "...with you", as they might actually love it with another guy with a different vibe.

Send me a PM I would be glad to tell anyone how to learn Russian as fast as possible but I've yet to meet a foreigner who can speak like me and I've met professional British translators who studied Russian and have a masters degree. My focus is 100% on speaking and I always go out of my way to learn. Russian isn't so hard to write or read, speaking is the animal.

I was told the average foreigner needs 1-2 years of study in a Russian speaking environment to reach a level which could be described as almost fluent. So with that previous experience in Ukraine, at the end of your 6 months stay in Russia you shoud see a great improvement.

maybe I am not intelligent enough, but I struggle to believe you can go from nearly zero to fluent in 6 months. I was studying Russian in the UK, for no less than 20 hours per week (including 1 to 1 tuition as part of that).......have been in Russia 8 weeks now (plus multiple trips in the past)......and although my Russian is decent, no way am I fluent

Best is to enroll in a state school preparatory program. Usually 9-10 moths. At the end most people are functionally conversational.They cost no more usually that 2k bucks. Might be age limit..but bribes work.

This is kind of absurd but Google Translate is your friend. Just run the app on your smarthphone and write the phrase that you want to say, and make her use the Russian keyboard to do the same. It's slow but better than it sounds and you can actually make it fun for both of you. And now it has become pretty accurate.

My threshold now is 45 minutes with a girl before running out of words/things to say, but Google Translate usually helps me save the day.

Yeah, works. As I said earlier, I spent an entire weekend with a girl using only google translate on my phone. Even in the shower together Wouldn't want to do it often, but occasionally it gets the job done.

I didn't say anywhere that I speak like Dostoevsky or Tolstoy. I am able to speak only Russian 100% of the time with 80% grammatical accuracy and not feel that my head will explode, which I felt when I arrived. I didn't speak English the first two weeks, I was in such a deep depression but you have to push through that. Also, you need a girlfriend unfortunately to get past that level. And she needs to want to help you succeed. Otherwise its impossible.
