I have a buddy who I game with who is a professional magic guy... he does street corner stuff, his crowd control is amazing and I def see it translate well into his nighttime game (especially large sets)

Will writing stuff down confer an advantage to recording the entire interaction and playing it back? I've been trying to record most of the stuff i do lately... but maybe writing it down will help my brain remember the info better.
