First date how to

Hey guys, I have to plan for a first date. For an evening date, would getting dessert rather than dinner and then heading off to a bar be ok? Thing is she eats dinner late and cafes close relatively early here but the general advice recommends against dinner first dates. She is pretty conservative so I am not sure if she will be comfortable with going straight to a bar on the first date. Any ideas here?

Also, what if she refuses an evening date? Should I plan for a cafe in the afternoon and call it a day?

Thanks for the suggestions.

This should all be in the links listed in posts above here. Since you've told us almost nothing about the girl or how you met her, it's hard to give effective advice, but if she says no to an evening date and tries to rework it to a day date, I'd be suspicious that she's wasting your time or isn't that interested. When a girl's interested, she's not going to put too many walls between her and you.

This.

I'd stick to the basics, you can't go wrong with that if the girl is interested. Take her to a café, and then relocate to a nice bar nearby. Like Roosh said in Bang, relocation serves just the purpose you need here - by making it seem like you've known each other for longer than you have, you're making the girl feel more comfortable in your company.

You didn't specify how conservative she is, but I don't think any normal girl should be frightened to go to a nice bar on a date. It's not like you're taking her to an orgy or something.

TL;DR: Just read "Bang," it contains all you need to know about date setups.

Yeah, but the issue is that where I am living, cafes close at 7 and bars rarely get busy till 8 or 9. That is why I am still figuring out the flow of movement here.

She is not saying 'no' to an evening, it's me considering that because as mentioned above, cafes close early where I am in and bars only get busy/open later in the night. Dinner seems to be the best bet logistics wise because of the timing but as has been opined by the folks here, dinner for the first date is not a good idea. So, I am still thinking what would be the best plan for the date under these circumstances.

It's been 6 days since you asked this question and you're still asking advice - I'd be surprised if she was still available. Here's a bumper-sticker rule for the game: when you think, you stink. We've given you all the applicable advice, make a plan and go with it and tell us what happens.
