I think it's more complicated than a new phone number. They use facial recognition software. It's not supposed to be accurate, but it did a good job on me. I had glasses on in one photo. I'm sure there is a weakness. How can one get around it?

After I used 3 phone numbers my solution was:
New phone number. Do not use the same birthday and words. And do not use the same pictures.

Could you still use pictures of yourself, even if they were different from your original choices? That is, what is the facial recognition like? I believe they use it. FYI: The nancy that runs the site is crazy. The filters are ridiculasly puritan, and he is really into shemales, some people being banned because their profile lacked preferences for such things. What's an alternative site?

Onto the topic at hand: It is possible to detect the identity of a user online through many different channels. Obviously the same email and phone # are easily detected. The next most common way is through IP address. Assuming you're smart enough to change all of that, there are still browser cookies. Even if you delete cookies and change all of the above, there is something called a "Browser fingerprint", which is basically all of your computer and web browsers unique traits.

For example, if you're using Windows 7, 32 bit, with Firefox, and you have Ad-Block installed plus Facebook Purify, how many other users have that exact same configuration?

Now, that's not to say they AREN'T using facial recognition, but it's much more common to use the above techniques to identify profiles of users.

For those curious, I took a course on computer networking in college. Interesting, but I decided against pursing the degree.

I too was banned twice from Date in Asia, the second time immediately after creating my profile (with a different picture, different birthday, username, "real" name, different computer that had never visited the site, and also from a different internet network that had never visited the site) and sending my first message.

To my knowledge, I did not violate any of their rules. I was thinking that I was initially banned because someone reported me because they got mad that I did not respond to their messages. I have heard that all it takes to get banned is one user reporting you.

Another possibility was that I was banned because my first message to every single girl was me asking for their whatsapp number. I know that DIA makes money off of people logging in and using their website, so perhaps they didn't like that I was going to be using whatsapp to talk to the girls rather than their website, thus costing them money.

Still not sure how they figured out it was me when I made my second account, and it seems the only possible way they knew was with facial recognition software, although my two pictures did look quite different from each other, so maybe there was another way that I am not considering. When I registered my first account, they didn't require a phone number, but they did for the second account, and maybe they were able to determine my real information with my phone number I gave.

I don't think DIA is a very great place to meet girls though. Most on there aren't terribly attractive, and many girls who characterize themselves as "Slim" most definitely aren't.*

I have met three girls from DIA over the years. You have to sift through a lot of junk but once in a while you'll find a real beauty who is honest and straight-up. You also have to be realistic: since the site is free, tons and tons and tons and tons of guys are contacting the same girls you are.

Sidebar: I believe the key to making DIA work is to cut them over to FB or IG as soon as possible. Only then will you be able to see them in context. Lottttts of filipinas have second FB accounts that they have blocked their local friends or boyfriends from. I can't tell you how many times I've started talking to a girl, asked for her FB page, been given her second page, then studied her friends list for a few seconds only to find her primary page, only to click on it and find out that she has a boyfriend and has marked her primary page "In a Relationship."

In a somewhat similar vein, a couple of months ago I had to pass through Cebu. I had met a cute girl on DIA. Didn't seem like perfect chemistry but she was really really cute and young so I asked her to come pick me up at the airport super late. To my surprise, she agreed. When I landed at midnight, she was there waiting.
Spent four days with her and it went great.

The only thing that was a huge bummer is that afterward she told me that she already had an expat American boyfriend there. She wasn't lyin' about that. He was really old and seemingly controlling and mean af. He found out that the girl had cheated on him. He contacted me with the most hateful and threatening emails I ever received. He then emailed some of my coworkers, etc. Not a good situation at all. I literally had to get the police and a lawyer involved to get him to stfu. All that is to say, be careful with DIA ... you literally never know what you'll get.

I got banned one time for unknown reasons. I wrote to them and got reinstated.
I did try the whole new email, new SIM card thing, even with new pics but that failed.
Which makes me think that they use facial recognition.

Oh please. I'm certain it's because you act like a total creep. A "crazy girl" isn't going to just report you out of the blue. I reckon DIA does a pretty good job of weeding out total lowlifes. Given that it's a free site, they must be attracted there like bees to honey. Conduct yourself with a little class and I can't see why you'd get bounced.
