The type of people that are making these quizzes and writing for Buzzfeed are in all likelihood more privileged then 90% of the population since they are most likely:

- living in the the middle to upper class section of urban centers
- college educated
- possessing plenty of time to sob over Twitter/Tumblr/Buzzfeed over "microagressions" and "triggers"
- never having to actually interact with people from lower socio-economic classes in any meaningful way

There are some really ludicrous questions, like "Have you ever been denied an opportunity because of your gender?" Yes! I can't work as a model, an escort, a professional cuddler, have a smaller chance to get a job as a TV presenter or receptionist, people have refused to rent me apartments just because I'm a guy, and if I was a gynecologist, patients would openly discriminate against me. These are all serious, measurable losses, unlike a woman being denied the opportunity to be a SEAL or a coal miner.

Then there are gems like "I don't rely on public transportation". Of course I don't, because I WALK, fuckers!

The most absurd one is this: "My parents are heterosexual"



Assuming that heterosexual parents are a sign of privilege, why am I guilty of that? I don't get to decide their sexual orientation! Jesus, what a trainwreck...

The entire website is full of similar bullshit, with titles like "Watch Emma Stone Shut Down Andrew Garfield For Saying Something Sexist". What a cesspool of humanity...

A few questions reveal my oppression as a heterosexual man

"A stranger has never asked to touch my hair, or asked if it is real." When I was young and experimented with long hair, some drunkard in a club grabbed my hair and called me a girl. We had a fight. Turns out a man cannot be free to have long hair.

"I have never lied about my sexuality" I have lied and told women an obvious lie that I am a gay, to create a contrast, so they laugh would sleep with me. It works!!!


" I never had to “come out." I have had to come out and voice my unpopular opinion that I am not a feminist and that I do not consider homosexuality or many woman's rights normal, good or healthy.

" I am always comfortable with P.D.A. with my partner in public." I don't like my neighbors seeing me return home holding hands with a different girl each month, because they have prejudice against my lifestyle.

" I have never pretended to be “just friends” with my significant other." Sometimes I must tell to one girl that I am just friends with another girl since society is biased towards polygamy.

" I have never been told that my sexuality is “just a phase." I have been told numerous times that playing the field instead of settling down with a 35 year old spinster who has finally stopped partying and is ready for family is juvenile and Peter Pan syndrome.

" I have never been violently threatened because of my sexuality." I get called being a heterosexual pig that deserves castration my feminists and gays from time to time.

" I have never been denied an opportunity because of my gender. " I am constantly denied an opportunity to be good looking but incompetent at work because I am a man and I am expected to give my 110%, unlike females who are loved for being damsels in distress who cannot complete any project without a help from a white knight male co-worker.

"I make more money than my professional counterparts of a different gender." No.

" I have never felt unsafe because of my gender. " I constantly feel unsafe for being a heterosexual man. I fear accusations of false crimes and people having no sympathy to my plight all the time.

and it made my day!!!

"I have never been sexually harassed or assaulted." Women do DM from time to time. I run away because I know police will not be on mys side anyway even if I am innocent.

"My parents pay all of my bills." They don't because they never considered me a "princess"

I could continue but this is enough.

I score a 51/100 privilege rate overall as a white heterosexual male. But I do not complain.

Whoever wrote this fails to realize how many of the poor underclass go to H&R block, pay like $100 for a 1040 EZ (which can be filed for free if you make under $58,000; IRS provides free access to efile software if you qualify), then get a loan against their earned income tax credits, which they then use to buy electronics/other big ticket impulse items they can't afford.

I am a white heterosexual male and I scored 40/100 - not privileged. That score would be a lot higher if I didn't live the majority of my adult life in Asia and hadn't been subjected to discrimination based on my skin colour. All this privileged crap may have been true back in the mad men era but today white males are the most hated guys on earth and everything is slanted to take our "privilege" away. Look at all the specialty loans and programs for women and minorities in business, college, education, etc.

One other interesting thing. In Chicago for example if you want to open a currency exchange in the airport you have to be a minority owned business. It doesn't matter if you give the best bid, it doesn't matter if you provide the best service, if your not a minority owned business your not welcome to do business there. How unamerican is that?

Currently there's a totally incompetent company running currency exchanges in both Ohare and Midway. They have shit hours they don't open up til like 9am when most international flights leave at maybe 4am to 9am but they got the contract cuz it's a black bank. Honestly they cannot even run the business they are so pathetic they essentially have a large well run company provide them the currency, the systems. It's basically another comapnies business but their name on it because thats how it has to be.

We could also go into all the SBA loans for women and minorities, scholarships, lowered standards for military, police, fire, education.
