However, it could be the case that race mixing leads to an overall increase in ugliness. Just because a few of them pop out pretty doesn't mean the majority cannot be butt ugly. In which case, race mixing is bad and should be opposed.

The thing is, my mother was 50% white (but appeared white) and my Dad was full Lebanese. So I'm at least 75% white. White people take me as one of their own without me having to do anything.

I know that if I had kids with an Asian woman though, chances would be high the kid would look more Asian than white since I'm an Asian gene carrier as well.

If I could control for sex of any potential Asian offspring I would definitely choose to have females, since if they look White or Asian they will be hot regardless and have no problems for the rest of their life.

Conversely if it is an Asian looking son, he will have to work his fucking nuts off to get anywhere in life.

But if I have children with a white woman, the kids will be white no matter what (unless she's got some asian blood in here, in which case there is a small chance of asian babies), and since white men are valued the world over just like white women, both genders could work. That said, white women still have a huge advantage over white men (maybe this will change in the future?).

Traveling is nice, but doesn't give a man the big picture like historical study does. All you see is what is presented in front of you.

Unless a man dedicates all of his time traveling an entire country, there is no way to know what the true state of the country is. You need big picture things involving birthrates, GDP, and all of the other inventions economists use to produce a coherent picture.

And that's just the present picture of a country. You can't find out about a country's or culture's history unless you read a boatload.

Ultimately, reading is more important than traveling if you are interested in knowledge.

Travel is more about entertainment than enlightenment. So of course I want some too. The reason I can't travel much is because my income isn't mobile. Simple as that. Working on other plans.

On a serious note, though, the rest of your post is credited. Black women are quite interested in non-black men, particularly whites (non-black hispanics as well). I'd say that they're equally important. I've read several books on India's political and religious history; I've spent hours talking to my family members about Indian culture, and I'd say that, by Western standards, I have a fairly solid knowledge of India's general characteristics.

Is that any substitute at all for actually going there? Not in the slightest. You may learn arcane facts by reading about a country; you may develop a sense of how certain members of that country(authors like Marjane Satrapi) perceive national events or trends. You won't, however, actually know what the country is like. You won't truly know how the people look, how they talk, what's popular in their country, what their musical tastes are, anything. You won't know how they express kindness, nor will you know what makes them laugh. A tome on the history of the UAE might teach me a bunch of facts, but only a real visit to Dubai or Abu Dhabi would give me any real understanding of a place.

But, honestly, I see a lot of different people with this type of nose. Whites, Arabs, Jews, Italians, Greeks, Spaniards, etc. etc..

You ever think of doing one of those DNA tests?

I totally believe this. Ideological feminism has not really caught on with black women. They still like the idea chivalry and being taken care of and protected by a masculine man. Never ever heard of a black woman getting upset if a guy pulls out a chair for her. Liberal white females are the ones that are weird about this stuff.

There are plenty of Middle Easterners who can completely pass for white. I know a large number of Persians and Armenians who are indistinguishable from the average white guy. The Lebanese, generally speaking, look whiter than most other Middle Eastern ethnicities. This does not, however, preclude any Lebanese person from having significant Arab, Turk, or Kurdish ancestry. Members of all three ethnicities, along with their slaves and mercenaries of Central Asian, African, or Indian descent, have been raiding the Levant ever since the inception of Islam. The Mongols also staged several successful attacks on area, and undoubtedly did their best to spread their genes whenever possible. The entire area, moreover, has been a hotspot for pilgrimage and trade for the past two thousand years, meaning that any Middle Easterner's claims to complete racial purity(white/black/whatever) are dubious at best.

I believe claims of relative homogeneity from people like Icelanders or Papua New Guineans. In other words, ethnicities whose homelands were fairly isolated from the rest of the world, and saw little foreign presence at all. If a Middle Eastern or Indian guy tries to spout claims of racial purity, I have to call bullshit. Areas that literally stand at the crossroads of multiple continents get trod over by so many foreigners(traders/invaders/what-have-you) that considerable mixing has to take place.

The concept of Aryanism also existed long before Alexander the Great. The Aryans were a race of Caucasian nomads who supposedly invaded both India and Iran around 2000 B.C.E. The first name that the country of Iran received from its inhabitants was Airyanam Vaejah, or "expanse of the Aryans"; its later title of Eranshahr means "empire of the Aryans". Similarly, the Persian emperors who preceded Alexander often called themselves the "Light of the Aryans".

I have a fairly aquiline nose too. Funny how I'm a Dravidian from South India.

The biggest driver of stupid race arguments is sheer ignorance. The complete lack of historical knowledge displayed by most people(throughout the country, not just this forum) is disturbing. People use this ignorance to justify their complete degradation of other cultures. I've seen respected posters mouth off about how Africa never had civilization of any kind(the entire fucking continent!), making colonialism somehow less horrible. Others question Islamic culture's ability to produce thinkers or philosophers, despite the existence of Rumi, Amir Khusro, or Khalil Gibran.

If historical education in the West were even slightly better, I doubt that any of these arguments would even take place. Sometimes I wonder if we're being kept stupid on purpose.
