@thedude, agreed that once her name is in the public domain, and especially once it's been public for a while, there is nothing to preclude us from talking about it. But we should not be the ones to "out" her (which we weren't), and I don't think there is any rush to post her name on the thread if it's only been published very recently (since there is at least a theoretical possibility that it will be removed from sites that published it etc). There are real people involved, and this can't be pleasant to her family, relatives, friends etc. These girls are deluded or semi-deluded that they can do this and remain anonymous forever. This is never the case because there are always some people who see it as their job to be denouncers and informers. We just don't need to be a part of that nasty crew.

It's simpler: she wanted to remain anonymous. This was never going to happen, but we shouldn't be the ones to out her (which we weren't). To err on the side of safety, we should avoid mentioning her name until it's so widely known that it's obviously a moot point.

I don't have any particular concern for this girl, nor do I regard her as an enemy to be punished. I'm more concerned about the reputation of the forum than about hers. Many of us want to remain anonymous online, and we should always err on the side of extending the same courtesy to others for as long as it's even remotely relevant, unless those others have given us a very specific reason to do otherwise.

She wanted to be outed on a primal, subconscious level. If asked, she'd stridently deny it using her logical brain, but she just has a consuming need for attention. Like I said, if she just wanted money, she'd find a sugar daddy. And most girls, if they're getting into this sort of thing, prefer the route of quiet discretion where available. She's getting what she craves - not that that's a good thing per se. You get the sense that this was unavoidable with her, she was a ticking time bomb.
