I assume a lot of these girls commute to Budapest often..But do they have the same thought process as city people?

Depends, but when it comes to the really small villages, if the girl has stayed put, there is usually a reason. And chances are that reason is wearing diapers and screaming anyu anyu anyu...

Most girls that have any sense whatsoever leave. Either to a college town, to Budapest or to Western Europe or the Anglosphere.

Unfortunately yes. It does not mean that Hungary is getting dry out of women, but they are always the first ones to jump ship to something easier instead of hustling. I had a friend who is a civil engineer, with two good internships. She can find a damn good job here but requires her interviews and tests first : She goes to scotland to work on an ice cream shop.

Budapest is certainly not paradise, but during daygame I often stop girls who turn out to be models returning from Tokyo or Milan. Of course my game is not good enough to get tier-1 from day or night game, but I do speak the language and feel that the long-term advantage for me is to stay here a bit. I might spend a month or two in Debrecen as well later in the year.

As for contraception, it is a mixed bag. Chances are young sluts will be on the pill. Recently a girl from Tinder told me she was on it for 10 years straight and it fucked her period up big time once she was trying to get off it. Even if she is on the pill, they would want condom against STDs but I managed to talk most of them out of it recently to put it in raw.

Budapest 7s. Love me for some reason. Must be a mix between a different type of foreigner..Speaking english but also having interest in Hungarian history. haha

But Hungarian 7's seem to respond really well to me.

It seems true though. A lot of them have interest in leaving Hungary..they all have aspirations to go off and work somewhere better.

It's not just the girls. A significant number of young people leave/want to leave the country and find work elsewhere.

I looked back at your old data sheet elhúngaro
http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-18494.html

My post come of almost asshole like. Im sorry for that. Your information was good..and I look forward to more of it.

http://www.budapestrent.com/

Im really debating on just renting a place in budapest and setting up shop.

You said you don't know much about this site...Are you familiar many renting sites now?

If it wasnt for the fact that airbnb is fully furnished..Some of these places are cheaper to rent by the month, than airbnb by the week.
I would love to find a fully furnished apartment for the the prices as some of the unfurnished ones. aka 400eur and under.
I also automatically assume any website in english is gonna be charging more than the average hungary.

No hard feelings man.
I don't have much experience in looking for apartments, because I have my own place in Budapest. Some friends told me about this website though.

http://www.alberlet.hu/

Check it out. You can set your search criterias, so it's quite useful.

Budapestrent.com looks like it's mainly for foreigners, so obviously they are gonna charge more.
Prices vary by the district you choose, and the quality/size of the apartment.

Good luck.

It's District 8 with this reputation. The rest are fine (and pretty much in the center of Budapest).

Short update

Budapest Park : Its an open air concert venue in southern Pest, check the lineup and weather forecast before going. You can buy tickets (2k-3k HUF) on the spot but they are more expensive than online. It is basically a permanent mini-festival every weekend. Can always find half-a-dozen 2sets of 5-7s and didnt see anyone else approaching unlike in clubs/bars. Recommended if you like the band/dj feature and you would go anyway. Its a nice change from the club scene which is completely westernized.

Heard that some girls also go to A38 boat for specific bands/djs. It is anchored on the buda side next to a university but more frequented with girls who already have jobs. Will check it out soon.

Found some local daygamers here as well and heard that foreign pua's come here to teach bootcamps. I asked my ex and she said she gets approached regularly in parks and shopping centres. Just food for thought

Sourcecode : to find an appartment

if you speak the language : http://www.jofogas.hu ; http://www.olx.hu - you could try to translate the ads and call the number see if they speak english but often you will find a grandma looking to let her second flat with no clue about foreign languages

for foreigners : craiglist and facebook erasmus groups are quite good, expect to pay 10-25% more for the same flat

I have pretty much found an apartment.
I haven't been those sites, but I will check them when I get to my computer.

right off the bat though..most sites are renting on 6 month leases minimum. some are 6 month, but rare.

I am staying for 3 months...not long enough.fit any of those standard renting places.

I saw info on this festival.
. is it the entire summer?

concerning Morrison..which one?
when I'm there the first week of June..I'll be staying near the one near Margaret island..I think it's second one..

I'm only a5 minute walk away..noise problems sound like a good excuse for after party at my apartment

Sourcecode, I'll be watching your coming posts with interest.

I've booked a one way ticket from Canada to Europe for late June. I've developed some location-independent work here in Canada so I'm planning to relocate to Central/Eastern Europe for some time to save money and enjoy myself. I'm trying to decide on a city to set up shop in starting for July.

Budapest is at the top of my list. I visited for a week last summer and liked it a lot. Some of the benefits of the city as I see it are:
  • Cheap cost (I'll be earning a Canadian level income, should go far in Budapest)
  • Gorgeous City: This might be the most beautiful city I've been to. I do photography as a hobby, Budapest would provide an endless source of material.
  • Wizzair Hub: This is important for two reasons. First, it makes it easy to book a quick getaway to another European city. Second, you'll have European girls streaming in from across the continent for vacation all summer. Great for flag collecting
  • Lots of cheap eats and drinks
  • Good public transit
One major drawback is the language barrier. I speak English, French and passable German. Hungarian is on a whole different level and I doubt I'd be able to pick much up. It's a bummer since I hate the "I speak English, that should be enough" attitude.

How have you gone about finding your apartment, if you don't mind my asking. I was planning on carpet bombing airbnb and seeing what I could get. I'm looking to start at three months as well. I may stay longer if it becomes a good fit for me.

Many thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. It's been mighty helpful.

I just spammed air bnb also.

semi personal message. instead if a obvious copy paste.
And negotiate from there.
The message I used is around the forum somewhere, but feel free to pm me. I'll go more into detail.

it took a lot of work, of course I wanted the perfect place.
people are gonna high ball you cause your foreign and it's summer and they wanna make money.

I also pipelined..honestly..both guys and girls.
to make contacts on the ground.

Hungarians are really friendly.
guys across the board gave me good info on the city.
And girls are extremely eager to meet after i make it a point that I'm not short stay tourist.

I'm not planning on learning the language..It's way to complicated and has no use other than Hungary.

I always learn basic phrases and such to make shop keepers smile and ease bouncers up.

But even Hungarians tell me..It's fine if I don't learn the language.

You are better improving your German.many young and old people seem to know better than English.
Hungarians in mass seem to want to go to Germany and work.
lots of girls (at least online) study some form of tourism.

I am on vodafone pay as you go. Top up 3000 huf get 500mb internet, top up 5000 huf get 1gb. Ignore sms/minute deals as you will use whatsapp/viber/facebook to chat anyway.

I used to live in London, mobile phone charges are more expensive in hungary and slow to get cheaper here. To get unlimited any network minutes you looking at 9000 huf. Doesnt matter though as beer is much cheaper here :-)

Was on a tinder 1st date this week, asked the girl how she selects the guys, she said if the name is foreign its an automatic reject. This is all anecdotal of course but I dont think being a foreigner here will carry any bonus here.

When I got my lease the contract said 6 months, I crossed it out to put 1 month notice to cancel and rewrote other parts of it. Of course I am a local and I made a good first impression and negotiated. With leases if there is no room to negotiate at least 5-10% then you should turn around. No point doing business with inflexible people in the long run. This is more true in eastern europe than in the west. Its a balancing act, no strict rules.

The thing with Tinder is right. I don't use Tinder, but one time I managed to go to one of this clubs in the outside districts, some of them with face control to keep foreigners out, and the quality and ratio was absurdly better compared to the Budapest center.

Are girls that wary of foreigner?

I never noticed girls to be very wary of me?
In fact, they seemed more curious. In a couple different bars..and places in the city. women would almost stare me down till i approached them.

I even got approached by guys a couple times out of curiousity.

Can yall explain a little more on the foreigner thing?

In most central places, you get decent-to-average girls that would not mind going for either a foreigner or a Hungarian, so they frequent the central area. The really smoking hot girls that you can see around in the city, party in less-known clubs, where they can meet the kind of guys they want to meet : They want a relationship with a successful guy in Hungarian language.
Budapest is no longer fresh out of the iron courtain, foreigners haven't been a wonder here for 10 to 15 yeas, just Hungarians are naturally curious.
