The whole EE is becoming more difficult. The speed of Poland's deterioration is slower though than that of CR or Baltics deterioration.

Poland has the advantage of having 40 million people so it is too big to be played out.It will always remain polish to a degree though not as fanatical resisting westernization as Russia.( which always causes some degree of terror in the West).

SpecialEd,

What countries and places in EE have you been? Care to expound upon your experiences?

I was just in Poland. Off all the countries I went to in E. Europe, it was by far the easiest place to pull. There is a term for what you guys are experiencing: Golden Age Fallacy.

This is true back then in Wroclaw and other cities there was always one club where all the gold diggers frequented.Students needing money for rent etc.Now it is not so simple like that. The best clubs have a 99% polish clientele and you compete directly against polish guys of decent appearance many of them muscular and some of them loaded.
Also many guys have now returned home from abroad having money on disposal. The bar has been increased in Poland. There was this window between 2005-2011 due to mass immigration but now the tide gets back.
Ukraine on the other hand was insane pre 2003 you cannot imagine nor will you ever live these days.Every time you entered a club you got the first girl you spoke to for one night stand. There was zero failure.Only Russia maybe has been like that.

Guys I know who were in Russia in the late 90s and early 2000s (Hungry Duck & Real McCoy heydays) say that it was sort of like the 2003 period in Ukraine, which stands to reason. Heard stories about how just being a foreigner had way more cachet than it does today. Basically guys were living an Exile-like existence. Man that would have been something to experience. There still seems to be a bit of an 'expat factor' in Moscow but not for the top ladies who know that all the money is with the rich Russian dudes there.

Re Poland I could definitely see the return of the guys from London making it harder, but would be surprised if there were tons of rich guys in there now, so I'm just wondering - how do people get all that rich in Poland?

I had the luck of experiencing the end phase of golden era pre 2004 so I know thinks never be the same. The generations after will never experience sth lke that.Same as we never experienced the easy Scandinavian and German tourists in the 70s and 80s so we cannot believe the stories of that period.
Poland became much better after 2004 and European integration while CR became harder.I saw the difference myself. The main reason was the immigration of about 2 million young polish guys to UK and Ireland who left about one million of horny housewives and girlfriends in Poland.I had the luck of fucking some of them.
Now on the other hand with the economic crisis in the EU more and more polish decide to get back to Poland and they have some funds to cover the insatiable appetites of polish women.

For the time I've been in Poland so far, almost 2 months, I've never met a polish girl asking me for a drink or something else. So I guess the relation with money in Poland is different than in Russia or maybe others EE countries.
When I bought a drink to a girl in Poland, each time she insisted to buy the second turn and this, in every kind of environment : date in a lounge bar, nightclub, pub, etc.

I even had some refusals from girls in nightclub to buy them a drink even if we were closed and something happened later. I think they didn't want to have to buy me drink and prefer to politely refuse it.

All this negativity saddening! I'm moving to Poland in February...my first stop on hopefully several years of travelling on my way to finding my perfect home. I'm heading to Wroclaw I think first, as it's been personally recommended by a few RVFers as a place of thin women and good times.

Whatever happens, it's gotta be better than Britain!

Edit: Oh, also, what's the deal with age differences over there. I'm 27, is that deemed too old over there by the 18-22yr old crowd?

This is called equilibrium and globalization.
In the past the communist block was totally closed environment with different culture. Since 1990s it was opened and changed a bit per year, since smart phone era the globalization works faster so girls attitude are changing more to the leading culture of the world- western.

Ah. Here now. Just don't.
Went out last night, one girl just started bragging to me that her ex-bf was from California, basically to impress me because I was foreigner too. I just looked at her and said "thats all u have to say?". She then made the famous american comment "im not interested anyways".
Poland is really dead. The drop seems to be exponential compared to other EU countries like Romania or Hungary.
I can sincerely say that in the 3-4 clubs i did yesterday the fat percentage of young people was almost to american level. Thats only for the girls. The guys are in shape and built. Add to this the lack of high heels, the converse shoes, the hipster style,, the orange colored short hair (really in fashion in poland right now), and you have a recipe for disaster.
Poland is one of the best if not the best economy in EU right now. The mcdonald and starbuck fuckfest wont be stopping soon.

I also hope polish guys abroad promote a slavicization of the West by fucking western chicks although this is sth very difficult to achieve.

It's just not worth it for the most part. In New York, I keep an open mind and hit on all kinds of girls, but then usually end up with Russians. They have the best combination of looks and attitude I can get.

Agreed. Have had two Brazilian bangs that have asked me for $$, gratuitous cab rides, etc. Russian? Had a few girls buy or offer to buy me drinks in St. Petersburg last week. Indeed a very solid mix of personality & looks.

Hmmm...sounds not good. I was planning to start an EE tour there in 2 weeks. After all the hype it got I was thinking to book an apartment for couple weeks already....i will adjust it to couple days to check out situation first.

Which Clubs have you visited ? - As Wroclaw is a student town, do you think it could be because many girls have left due to christmas holidays?

Privyet comrade. Wroclaw will have many more young girls than Kiev. The nightlife is consistently better too. All the clubs are walking distance from each other. Perfect layout & logistics.

Sure, it might have been better back in the day. The girls aren't as desperate to find a man as they are in Kiev. But compared to Germany or the west, it's still a relative poosy paradise. I wouldn't let this thread rain on your parade.

You actually went at the worst time you could bro. Most people leave (especially students, the range we want) to go to their hometowns to celebrate with family. Not a really good idea to sarge during Christmas time, I'd wait until New Year/After New Year then things will be back to normal.

do not worry ....there is plenty of good vibe in Poland.

Just avoid tourist traps...where saturation factor is high.
and yes.....the foreigner aspect will not do much anymore in big cities.
so focus guys ....need to be confident and have some sort of appeal that women dig like anywhere else if you want to score....
if you show few $ it will carry you just for short ride ....but you will at the end go not far....and party with barbie dolls mostly.

try to discover local culture...knowing local music scene music..polish literature ...having some knowledge will help. ....

have some guts and go to other places...learn some basic polish....

There was one negative opinion , the one from L'Etranger

But so many RVFers and Roosh living in Wroclaw for 3 months now,
and Wroclaw thread in meetups being probably biggest meetup
thread recently, all of these are for a reason.

And you know what is the reason [Image: smile.gif]

Talking about Krakow, that must be worst because of the high density of tourists and foreign students, I would say the situation is still better than in the west, France for my side.

It's true that girls have kind of attitude sometimes in Nighclubs but it's due to the fact that a lot of foreigners each weekend come to Krakow to party and hit on girls aggressively.

The best option, for me at the present time, is social circles. The problem is : it takes some time. But once you break the ice and you start having some friends here, foreigners or not, it is opening the doors of a lot of fun.

It seems like girls need confidence, to know that you know some people and you are not like most of the guys coming for a couple of days, even if you are looking for the same result.

I agree that for someone coming for just one week, it could not be the heaven that it sounded to be. But if you plan to stay longer time, then it is still an amazing country.

To be honest bro I'm only in Wroclaw because I am catching a flight for Netherlands in 2 days here.
I don't hide the fact that Poland is my least favorite EE country for many reasons.
But, you are right its the worst time of the year for Eastern-Europe in general, as the chistrian and orthodox christmas season is much more family oriented than in the west. Thats why im actually leaving EE for 2-3 weeks.

Went out yesterday, and it was much better. Where is the alive Wroclaw thread?

Only thing bugging me about Wroclaw is the growing number of pathetic British 'stag do's' that are going there, instead of Krakow. They ruin everything.

The problem in Wroclaw are the very tight connections of the student population.Once you approach a few girls a lot more learn about that. The girls come in companies of dozens in clubs. Many beautiful girls are paid by the establishment to just stand there in order to attract male clientelle to the club.
The relative advantage of Wroclaw compared to Poznan is that it is a much poorer city and it immediately shows.(Guys there have a lot less money than Poznanians).
