Proper etiquette?
I usually just bundle the blankets up so the maid doesn't have to dig through them, but I always still feel kind of crude. And then you know everyone knows about it when you come back to your room and mob past the front desk. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
Have you ever been charged? I don't think I have.
I did piss my bed all wasted at a plush hotel in Hollywood once though. LOL I pulled all the blankets off the bed, threw $40 on the mattress, and went shopping for the day. When I came back, I saw some hot Mexican maid sniggering at me.

I've had to pay a lot for blood on sheets, manyyy times. What I have found is that if you soak it in water, right away, it won't be enough for the maids to see. Just make sure not to let it dry. Just had to deal with this the night before last.

I had a hotel in Guangzhou China charge me $100.
After I got out of the shower, the girl was changing the sheets and showed me a faint amount of blood. It wasn't anything I'd make a big deal over, but I let her change the sheets anyway.
I then got a $100 charge on my credit card by the hotel a couple weeks later, and disputed it. They sent pictures of bedsheets drenched in blood, which my credit card company then sent to me. It was pretty disgusting and I had no idea it happened.

It happened a couple of days in a row in this hotel I was staying. They saw me come home every night with a girl so the front desk called me down to complain or to give me a warning. I had a bandage around my finger and so I said it was from a cut in my finger and then it was all good. lol
I have not been charged so far foor bloody blankets, must have been lucky so far.

Is it just the lower-end hotels that charge? My friend had this happen at a 5-star place (I think it was the girl's time of the month) and he never got charged. He said it was like a murder scene, but of course I wasn't there to see if we was exaggerating or not.

It happened once when it hit it from behind at a love hotel, sheets where so soaked that it probably stained the mattress.
Nonetheless I got into an argument after round 1 so we picked up and left...will remember to leave a tip next time.
$100 dollars just for sheets? In that case, I'll just go to the store and buy some myself to replace them.
