Sometimes things are different than they seem. I know a girl from an FSU country (not one of the usual suspect countries) who I met from time to time a few years ago. She used to hang out with any minted dude she could find (this was in an expensive Western Tier I city). You could say that finding them was her full time job, since she was getting old as a model. She would hang out with one very famous rock star whenever they were in the same town and she had photos to prove it. But all of her fuck buddies were completely different. One she met while waiting at the bus stop, another was a bartender in a high end cocktail bar. So she had her rich guys who she milked and maybe if they shelled out enough they got the bone and she had her busted guys who she used to get the bone, then just ditched them at her leisure.

A 9 is a girl so hot that everyone stares at her when she walks into a room, both male and female, and even children, who can recognize her superior beauty. A 9 is a girl who is hot enough to be actively pursued for sex and relationships by the highest status men on the planet. A 10 is the upper tier of 9s who is basically perfect looking for a short window of her life. So 9s are rare, and 10s are shooting stars. Most "really hot" girls men see in real life and in media are 8s at best.

That being said, I can't take anyone who says that 9s and 10s are easier to game seriously, because it tells me that person has spent very little time actually talking to 9s and 10s (and 6-8s for comparison) and is instead basing his argument entirely on theory. 9s and 10s are simply living in another universe. They are in a separate reality from what men can understand, because we are literally unable to fathom the amount of attention they receive and the way that shapes their thinking and development.

It's not impossible for an experienced player with solid game to pull 9s, but it is basically impossible to lock them down unless your lifestyle and bankroll are commensurate with your game. They simply have too many options, good options, to be satisfied with game alone. Not when they are receiving constant attention from the highest status men they come into contact with every day.

Of course, it's possible that the OP is one of those guys who calls a 7 a 9 and an 8 an 10, in which case his theory would make more sense. Because I do believe that 7s and 8s can be easier to game than 6s if you know what you're doing. That trend just does not hold up when you moved into the rarefied air of the 9 and 10, though. Even rich and famous men cannot reliably hold on to 9s and 10s - these women are the hottest in the world, they know it, and their hypergamy makes them unable to resist the urge to constantly look for an upgrade. They exist in a state of abundance that men simply cannot understand, because there is no male analogue to it.

The closest analogy is probably that of a world famous rock singer or movie star in his prime, who has hot women literally throwing themselves at him on a daily basis, and who has his pick of 9s and 10s to date. Imagine how hard it would be for him to settle down with one woman? Well, that's basically the amount of attention that EVERY 9 receives from the top tier of men. Every time a 9 or 10 walks into a room, she knows that she could pretty much get even the highest status men there to do whatever she wants. This is why pulling 9s and 10s is extremely hard, and keeping them locked down is almost impossible.

How many guys here have actually fucked a legitimate 9 or 10? I bet almost no one. These are girls that are world class caliber girls. The rating inflation I see on the internet leads me to believe what many guys call an 8 is actually a 6. I'd bet most guys pedestalize a 7 and call her a 9/10.

Now I have a "hard" scale simply because I like to differentiate between a hot chick at the club and world class beauties from maxim, playboy, SI swimsuit, victoria's secret, instead of lumping them all together in some amorphous 10 like some guys. The hot chick at the club you shagged is literally the same hotness rating as women who make millions of dollars off their beauty? That's just ego-driven bullshit.

The guys who insist that the girls they fuck implied by having an easy scale are just deluding themselves into thinking they're getting a certain quality that they're not. Which is why people get all butthurt here when it's pointed out their local club chick isn't a world class beauty. Sorry but the hottest girl in a mid level town is probably like the best mma fighter in a small town. Sure he's got talent but he's nowhere near the same level as GSP. You can appreciate the talent but realize they're worlds apart.

To be honest I have never met a 9 in person and shaken her hand and hung out with her in any social setting outside maybe the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas. Even then the lights are dim and you're drunk.

Not surprised. It's Santa Barbara, a college town so going to be lots of college 5-6s. So unless your into cute college types, Santa barbara is not the place to be.

What do you consider an 8 anyways?
