Basically, girl goes to Iraq to work for KBR and is allegedly raped a few weeks in.

She goes on a big PR campaign eventually getting Senator Al Franken to back her so she gets her day in civil court.

She eventually gets her day in civil court and loses. This does not make the news at all.

She has since fallen off the face of the earth.

Great she gets to teach people - sure all of her students are not fucked up. And then she can't take the blame and throws her lawyers under the bus. Her lawyers were actually out of pocket a lot of fees and time lost.

Don't wanna lose a rape case - 1) Actually get raped and 2) Don't be such a slut that it can be used against you like it was here.

That was a great read, thanks for sharing. I remember that case - so easy to be outraged against the Halliburton/KBR "evil empire", and Al Franken's support of her, and the bill he passed. Hot Coffee's been on my list to watch for a while, I never got around to it before now and I'd definitely need to skip her segment whenever I do watch it.

So much media outrage and in the end she's just another lying cunt. I'd love to share this on FB, get people to question what they read, think critically, but I know the reactions - "Why do you hate women? Why do you support rape culture? If she had a drink, she couldn't consent... RAPE."

So fucking slimy too - declares bankruptcy, then gets bankruptcy-immune funds. Gets the funds for workers' comp while actually working/not exhibiting any of the signs worthy of PTSD. Most of all, I love the part where she asked to return to Iraq weeks after the 'rape'. I laughed.
